Mountain bike ride at night sub zero temperatures.I already have a pair of Sealskinz gloves which I've used in the UK and on skiing trips. To cut to the chase these socks are worth the money in my opinion. They do keep your feet a lot warmer than standard walking socks and my feet were not sweaty when I came home after a ride. So I'm not riding in Scotland rather the hills / woods in Hampshire however it gets cold down hear as well at night and if you feel the cold and don't want ice block feet/toes get a pair or two of these ?

I have been a fan of sealskinz products for a long time, using them mainly for work. These socks did not fail and will when taken to the Norweigan mountains and will be used again when I go skiing next. They kept my feet warm even when temperatures went below -20 and they remained dry even after a full days exercise.

100% recommendation on buying these socks if your walking boots/shoes are not as waterproof as you hoped. This is a great brand of very high quality products, I have several pairs of socks and gloves that have never let me down.I think you could wear these in the bath and come out with dry feet!

Love these socks they work superbly in all environments. I tend to wear trail runners when I Trek cos they are light, airy and have great grip but they aren't waterproof. However with these I can still wear them in torrential rain which works for me

Absolutely brilliant socks. I walked 26 miles in wind, hail, sun and rain - not a blister, not wet, not hot, not cold. Really comfortable. Totally waterproof. They really are worth the money and meet all the claims completely. Highly recommended.

Wear these when playing golf on a particular wet muddy course. They really are waterproof together with very warm and comfortable. If I played more would certainly get another pair. Downside, awkward to wash but that’s the wife’s problem.

excellent, warm and feet a little sweaty as result. comfortable. might stretch the shoes a little. someone suggested I put a bit of talc powder in the socks.I use it to complete wudu quickly in winter by wiping over the top of them.

I’ve tried and used several brands of walking sock over many years - why did I not know about Seal Skinz? I live in King’s Lynn - and that’s where there made -Dhoooooo!Great quality and really ignore the cost , they are superb !

These basically look like normal cotton socks with a liner of some sort thats sewn to The inside. Not sure how long the liner will last with regular use.Once wet - take same time to dry as normal socks.Keep u updated.

These are quality socks and ideal as my Wellingtons had a bit of a leek. Used them out on the Somerset levels in sodden conditions and its nice knowing I have the quality Sealskinz on my feet.Try them they are superb.

Good fit, pretty flexible for a waterproof sock. Kept my feet warm and dry during awful February weather. Did rip (like any sock would) when caught by grips on new mtb pedal but repaired successfully using 'Stormsure'.

I really put these through their paces and they consistently perform well. I use them for weekly hard moorland walking/hiking and they last approx 1yr, so I can’t ask for more. Will definitely buy them again

Amazing socks kept my feet warm and dry in the lake district fella just in a pair of trainers! The snow soaked my shoes through and when I got home my feet were dry as a bone. Well worth the £20+ price

Wanted a pair of these for ages after I heard good recommendations. They live up to expectations. They keep your feet dry (apart from a bit of sweat, they are warm!) and are comfortable to wear.

My husband was spending a fortune on trying to find waterproof golf shoes, but all too often came home with wet feet. The Christmas present of waterproof socks has finally solved the problem!
