This is probably more like a 3.5 star game but I couldn't fault anything enough to give it a 3.The game itself is fishing as you'd recognise it with the usual terms for baits, pegs, equipment and so on so if you go fishing in reality this will make perfect sense. There is a decent selection of fisheries although I'd never sneer at more but do think the range of fisheries could be a bit broader to include canals and rivers so fingers cross for some DLC and it would be nice to see more species of fish.The tutorials are easy enough to understand as is editing the tackle box and the general game play is quite agreeable and doesn't leave me wanting to launch the controller across the room.

Only used for a few hours but so far this has proved excellent. Having fishing Manor and St Johns and then comparing them to the game, the accuracy is uncanny. Take the time to do the tutorials as you will lose a lot of fish before you fluke one onto the bank if you don't!! I lost 12 and then finally succumbed to the tutorial and landed the next 20.....I would assume that at some point this will get a bit samey fishing the same lakes for the same fish over and over again on a television screen but so far it is great. Takes a while to unlock the different tackle/baits etc and haven't unlocked enough yet to see if there is a difference between the low end and high end tackle.

Tight lines all round. Good fun and quite addictive. Being a match angler I was a bit disappointed with the lack of options on the Tournaments. It would be better if you could decide the length of time matches lasted for. Overall it is a good simulator even thought the tackle options are a bit limited (no top brands here, Daiwa, Preston etc). Rods are not good, who goes float/match fishing with a 9ft carp rod? Anyway, it passes the time and the progress system is good. Maybe this could be the beginning of something really good for us anglers who have never been bass fishing. More variety of fish, add rivers/canals, pole fishing and more realistic matches would make this a winner!!

You can sit playing, almost nodding off to sleep, or be manically trying to catch something. Not for the "bang bang you're dead" gamers, but I guess they wouldn't buy it anyway.Very good at what it is.

Good game if your in to fishing only downside of this is the level. You can only get to level 25 on here even though it should at least add more levels to the game but make it slight harder

bought for partner for birthday present who is really happy with this item plays quite often very good buy would definately recommend to anybody thinking of buying
