Being a translucent powder this isn’t designed to be visible as such, it’s just for finishing and setting your look. It’s ideal over foundation as it gives it something to cling to, although if you have slightly oily skin it’s also good for just gently mattifying your complexion.It’s light to wear and doesn’t add extra weight or make your skin feel suffocated / block pores.It doesn’t come with any brush or puff (as many of these things do). However that doesn’t matter to me as the ones included are always poor quality and therefore pointless.Since you only need the lightest of dustings each time you use it (with a big chunky blush type brush) this pot will last years.

This is a very high quality finishing powder, which provides sheer, buildable, matte coverage. It feels smooth and silky on application. The packaging is very lux and feature a compact mirror in the lid, with space for the provided foam applicator. Unscrewing the top lid reveals the powder dispensing area beneath, which has talc holes and a swivel lid so it can be closed for when on the move. I used a brush for application but the provided foam applicator provides another way of applying the powder over your makeup. I would advise pressing it on with this applicator. The resulting look is flawless and very matte. It's subtle and sheer at first, but coverage builds the more you apply,

Elizabeth Arden High-Performance Blurring Loose Powder is a nice silky smooth loose powder which works as a great oil reducer and makeup finisher. It is so easy to apply as the powder is super fine therefore it glides on using a large powder brush.I like to use this regularly as it prevents the dreaded shine on my forehead and nose. It also makes my skin look so fine and smooth, perfectly prepared for blusher, eyeshadow etc.I love how a little goes a long way there this is one product I would happily purchase as everything about it oozes quality from the powder, the packaging and the dinkly little mirror.A great product which I am happy to recommend.

This Elizabeth Arden loose powder comes in a small pot with a compact mirror in the lid, a swivel mechanism for the powder dosage (not a fan of this as it is a bit messy!) and a foam applicator (though I prefer to use a brush). The powder feels soft and silky on application and gives a sheer, matte finish which can either be used on its own to eliminate shine or to set your foundation. Unlike some other powders I have used the Elizabeth Arden is light, does not look caked or obvious and it lasts well during the day. Thumbs up for the powder which I will buy again though I am not so fond of the pot! 4*

This is a good finishing powder that will set your make-up without changing the colour. You can also use it alone, just to reduce shine on the nose and cheeks keeping it light or building layers for a little more coverage.The powder is presented in a deep compact, sealed on arrival to prevent too much being dispensed in transit. A simple shake will produce fine amounts of powder ready to scoop up with the included sponge or your own brush.The lid includes a mirror, so application whilst out and about is simple. It is boxed and thus easy to gift.

This is what I was hoping for, when I bought it, after 30 years. It is the best, loose powder I've used in years. I was buying cheap stuff, but really, there is no comparison, to this one. I can see, on my face, where I'm shining and this gives a lovely, perfect, matt finish, which I love. It is worth every penny and as always the packaging is gorgeous and very lush. It is a very nice addition to my makeup bag and does the job, I ask of it. Perfect and a nice treat for payday!!

This product is not what I thought I was buying. Been using Ceramide face powder for years and could not find it on the web site. Ordered this thinking it was somewhat like what I had been using. The amount of powder is less than half what the Ceramide powder was and the opening to put the powder on the puff is very small. The powder itself is very good, however. So I would recommend the product but make clear what the whole package looks like.

I have been using this powder for over a week now and it works well to hold back oily patches and shine. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and some dryness. I find this can accentuate my dry patches and need to be careful not to apply to dryer areas. Loose powder is a little messy. Great product and the high price reflects the fact that this is a premium beauty brand.

I just love this - its a really gorgeous finishing powder.I put it on after I have completed my make-up to use as a setting. It applies so well, it is so silky and feels light and fresh.I apply it with a brush and it just glides on. It sets my make-up really well all day.In my opinion this is definitely worth the higher price tag - real quality product.

I love this powder. It’s light, but can be layered for more opaque coverage. Just 4 ⭐️ due to the packaging. The top is overly huge as it contains a useless application pad, too bad. Perhaps the overall product could be less expensive if that was omitted & a normal lid used - allowing for one to use their own more appropriate powder brush.

My daughter is very pleased with product. It is very well packaged and easy to apply with the foam applicator giving good results as far as coverage and colour are concerned. The loose powder gives an excellent finish but can be messy if you are not careful. Attractive jar and a decent mirror give a very premium feel as with most EA products.

Using this after applying your creme foundation of a lighter shade and lastly dusting forehead with an even darker powder gave my face a "Hollywood" star power finish! It looked like I was on the " Red Carpet". Just the right amount of creme and powder ratio that makes for a makeup artist finish. Buy the creme foundation case as well.

This isn't the same Packaging that EA has used for the Powder. It used to be in a cake with a scraper on top to allow you to just bring to powder what you need at that time. I am not sure that this powder is the same. It is a very nice powder but does not seem as buildable. I never used anything else as a foundation before. Now I do.

I used this powder until you redesigned the container, making it virtually impossible to use. Now you have discontinued Pure Finish (03) so please will you redesign the container so that I may once again use an old fashioned powder puff if I wish. I have used this product since 1953 until you put in the useless container.

I too disliked the new packaging. Couldn't get the product to sprinkle out of the container! Thank goodness I kept the previous discontinued product! I just opening up the package and put the powder in the old container! Problem solved, but should not have had to do that!
