Fantastic filter media to be used as a settlement media, like a pre filter.I have the Fluval FX4 filter and I use this in the very base edges of the bucket. No media is meant to go in there but this is the area where water flows first therefore it catches the largest of detritus and prevents the foams from becoming clogged up so quickly.Highly recommended.I would suggest this is better than the plastic stuff.However, do remember that this is smooth ceramic it does not serve as bio media at all and should be used in conjunction with bio media also.

I've been using this product in my two Eheim professional 3 UltraG Canister Filters and the earlier models, for my 120 gal tank. Usually I only wash and reuse, but this time I replaced all. Works very well.

Great for pre-filtering. Sponges no longer clog up as this pre-filter tramps most of the particles. Easy to clean, hard wearing by the looks of it.

This is a larger size ceramic biological media for your filter - HOB or cannister. Well made, durable, and reusable. Great price and value.

Five stars if the stuff wasn't so much money. I have an Eheim canister, so I wanted to stick with the original media.

Not much you can say about it, it's filter media. Kind of on the expensive. side.
