Genuine Dyson product. However I have a DC19 Precision Argos Exclusive. When I opened the box, the flat out head and adaptor had changed slightly from the old flat out head I was replacing. Needless to say, it would not fit onto my original DC19 extension tube with the attached adaptor. I had to take apart a section from the old head brush and take a part off the new one. Then by swapping these parts - took a bit of persuading! - I had a working new brush.Be wary of this if you have a model such as mine. However it does work but not as straightforward as I had originally hoped!

I am so glad i bought this flat head tool. My dc19 came with this thick head that i couldnt even figure out how to use it on carpets and on my laminates. So as soon as this flat head arrived i threw that one in the bin. I can use this on carpets and my laminates without having to adjust the head and it goes under my furniture as well. I am very happy with my purchase

It fits, l have two shag pile rugs that don't like my vacuum because the piles too long, this head fits on my handheld dyson extension pipe so l can suck the dust out of it. as it doesn't have a beeter bar it just sucks the dust out.

Apparently original Dyson tool that fits all Dysons, except mine, even with the supplied adapter, it's stuck "loosely" on the end of the tube now.

Purchased this as a replacement for the original tool, which was probably 7 years old. Dyson vacuum cleaner now works like new again.
