So far so good i have used my dyson with this motor for about one month or more the only problem i have found is on one occasion the motor cut out when i was using the pet hair attachment on the hose but after 10 20 minutes the dyson dc14 was working again so all i can think is using the pet attachment must put to much pressure or stress on the motor and the motor overloads and so it cuts out during the use of this attachment. But this motor is a cheep replacement compared to the £70 or more bill i was going to have to pay for someone else to fix it and i found a tutorial on youtube, I typed in "How to replace and fit a Dyson motor - DC14" the tutorial is 8 minutse and 35 seconds long.

Great and powerful motor, was unsure whether this would really be able to replace the dyson motor effectively, a third of the price of the original dyson motor, didn't want to spend £50 plus for the original especially for a dyson which was over 7 years old, this was therefore perfect, only £16 and got it working!!

A cheap way to keep an old DC07 Dyson going.. fitted in about 45 mins (you may need to keep referring back to YouTube installation guides like me) , but straightforward enough. Works perfectly..very powerful.

Bought this as thought motor had gone on Dyson, turns out it just needed a good clean! We kept it incase motor does fail.
