Perfect for audio interfaces. I used this card for my Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 and Reaper as my DAW (Windows 7 X64 with Slylake CPU). No more audio dropouts and glitches). You need a special cable or adapter because this card is 1394B and not 1394A like usual firewire cards

I bought this card to replace one from another manufacturer that failed after less that a year in my PC. I am using it for two SATA drives, not RAID.

Works well with Focusrite Pro40, need a 400 to 800 adapter though. All good.
