I suppose I was one of the unlucky ones and got a very strong smelling sleeve. Sprayed it with some air freshner and after two to three days of airing it, the smell has lessened.Hooray! :D If you got a smelly one like me, don't expect to use it on that very day :(My sleeve looks exactly like the picture. Grayish white background, black little kirbys, and a bright yellow lightbulb and eyes. The inside is also a bright yellow :D Like..bright bright! This ain't no pale yellow that's for sure. Also, it's the same pic on BOTH sides of the sleeve. I was glad because I thought one side may just be plain gray :)I have a 14.5" hp laptop and it fits the 15.6" inch quite well with a little bit of room n the side for a perfect zipping space. It's a bit tall for my laptop though, an inch and a half or so space left at the top, but that's doesn't bother me.The Sleeve is soft. IT is not stiff but it's also not flimsy soft. It's not thin. but it's not thick. I would think my laptop will survive a light fall, but anything higher than yard and half or with more force than the accidental slip it prolly won't come out uncathed.I do agree with one review that it should come with a strap for the price...however, i just got a small thin scarf, rolled and folded it, and tied the ends to it very tight and viola! homemade strap :D Or like my brother did, cut off the ends of a jump rope and tie it...the knots are a bit bulkier but he doesn't mind. Unless you're going to be running around with this sleeve and it's not going to be in a bag or backpack...You can find other ways to make your own strap that'll last for everyday light uses :)

Well, what really can you say? It's a very cool looking red and black sleeve, made of neoprene and it'll nicely protect your expensive laptop. Mine almost perfectly fits my 15.6" Samsung R519, reassuringly snug at the sides with a little bit of movement at the bottom however that's no problem as gravity will make the machine find it's correct seating when carried. It is a higher quality sleeve than the one that came with my Asus Eee Pc and the zip does feel better made than your average fastener. I think the "anti-shock" claim is maybe a little far fetched however as it feels just like standard - though thicker than normal - neoprene and I'm pretty sure this doesn't have the D30 anti-lock molecular structure found in more expensive bags. While it doesn't come with a shoulder strap it does have loops for you to attach the one off your usual laptop bag if you just want to use the sleeve. It's also small enough to fit inside my own laptop bag although it might not if your laptop's already a tight squeeze inside the one you yourself currently own.Okay, so it might not be the cheapest sleeve money can buy but it's hardly going to break the bank even at fifteen quid and it's certainly worth spending that little more to gain the extra protection compared against solely using your usual laptop bag.

15.4" Laptop cover? Not really. No problem with the product quality. It's actually more padded than I expected, and certainly OK for protection against dunts and scratches. Only time will tell how long before it starts to look jaded, but, because of the material, I'm sure it will just sponge clean when necessary. As commented by another reviewer, it's odd to have rings for attaching a strap, but to have no strap provided. Not a big issue, just disappointing.Unfortunately, I've had to return it because, despite the title and description, neither of our two 15.4" laptops will fit inside it: one has a numeric keyboard which makes it wider than some, and it is bigger in every direction than this bag which will allegedly hold it; the other has no numeric keyboard, so is smaller - front to back it would fit, but its width is still exactly the same as the flattened case, so no possibility of actually fitting the laptop inside. However, as the quality of the product is OK, I have ordered the larger size as a replacement, and am returning this one.So be warned: if you have a 15.4" laptop, then buy the 17" case to fit it in.

After much looking, I came across and bought this case as I loved its quirkiness. Needing something that would protect my 13" macbook pro but not wanting a heavy case, this fitted that need perfectly. There's a nice amount of padding to the case which feels of good quality. The great thing I found too is that it fits around my macbook perfectly given it an extra feeling of protection and general quality too.The smell of plastic is extremely strong when first using it although this does wear off after a while. The zip works well and there's also the option of attaching a strap to the sides in order to carry it.Overall, it's a perfect and quirky case for carrying around your macbook. It's light but will definitely protect your macbook from scratches and small bumps. The look is definitely what makes this product though as it's a fun piece to carry. If I had to be picky, I would have liked to have had options for different colours as the orange might not have been my first choice but the overall cassette look is brilliant!

I bought this sleeve not long ago for my Toshiba NB505 netbook and it fits perfectly. It doesn't have a separate pouch for your computer accessories and it smells kind of funny when you first get it, but it's a very attractive sleeve that protects your netbook from the outside world. I knew when I bought it that it didn't have a pouch for a mouse or a carrying handle; these weren't features that I really cared about, though. I love the design on the case and have gotten a number of compliments about it. The material is soft yet protects my netbook from scratches and other damage. Everything works...I haven't had a single functional problem with it so far.My sole complaint is that it smelled weird when I first received it.I'm not sure why, but it wasn't anything that a little Febreeze and airing out couldn't fix. It smells completely fine now (I've had it for a few months).

Before buying this wonderful retro laptop case, I was carrying my new MacBook Pro around in a plastic bag... This is definitely a step up!It fits my 15" laptop fairly snugly although there's enough room for peripheral gadgets like graphics tablets etc. More importantly, it protects all these from moderate bumps and scratches, and seems to have kept the rain out so far although I wouldn't recommend carrying it around outside during monsoon weather. There are two metal rings either side of the zip which you can't see in the photo, which I imagine you could attach a strap to and make it into a shoulder bag.All in all, very happy with my purchase - quick delivery, although the case was shipped with an excessive amount of packaging that Greenpeace would be up in arms about, and the bonus of getting kudos from everyone old enough to remember life before mp3s!

I bought this sleeve because of the design on the front. It is good quality, offering reasonable protection to your pride and joy, although if protection from knocks is your primary concern because of frequent travel, it may be worth looking at a product with more padding. If you are using a laptop with a 15.6 inch screen then it will be a slightly tight fit, but it will stretch around the laptop no problem. I would say it would have been nice to have a strap included with the sleeve, as there are the metal loops on the sides to be able to carry it on your shoulder, but this wasn't a major concern for me as I don't take it out and about everywhere, just something to be aware of.Overall I would say this is a decent product from a company with a good grasp of customer service. I ordered it with the free delivery option and it arrived next day! Brilliant!

I have an odd-shaped laptop Sony VAIO VPCZ11X9EB 13.1 inch notebook (Core i5-520M 2.4GHz, 4Gb, 128Gb (Dual SSD), DVD+-RW/+-R DL/RAM, BT, Webcam, Win 7 Pro 64 bit) - really slim, but the long-life battery protrudes around 3cm out of the back as it puts the keyboard at just the right angle. This case takes the odd shape really easily, and protects my expensive laptop from scratches from pens, wire-bound notebooks, keys etc in my bag. It's easy to spot (so you don't forget the bag on the train), looks good (much better than those anonymous black things), easy to do up/undo, pick up by hooking a finger through one of the loops, laptop goes in/ comes out easily. For the first week it smells of "new",but this soon goes away.Get a different design though - this one is MINE!

This slip cover was a perfect fit for my Asus U50F...it slips in nice and snug; almost no wiggle room at all, with minimal stretching of the cover itself, which is just how I think these covers should fit on a laptop. The cover itself is made of your typical neoprene fabric with sturdy zippers, the inside of which is protected such that your laptop doesn't get scratched by them. The product description of this particular slip cover mentions "anti-shock system", but I have no idea what it's referring to. This cover is pretty run-of-the-mill in terms of thickness of the material. I'm happy with this purchase, however, and would gladly recommend this company to anyone looking for a moderately priced, good quality neoprene laptop cover.

After buying a new laptop and it being of the huge variety, (17.3"), I decided to grab a slip case for it as the bag I have wasn't quite big enough to carry it in.Liked the designs on these covers. A simple zipped bag with a piece of hard foam slipped inside made it an ideal light carrycase for my machine. The other design has a picture of an old cassette tape on it. Nice one, I grew up with them!If you want something simple to slide a big lappy into to save scratches, this will do nicely. It's a nice soft neoprene case as described. There are two zip-pulls, one either side of the case, (non-lockable) for easy sealing.Haven't weather-tested it yet but you wouldn't catch me taking my machine out in the rain anyway!

I really like the design of this case, as do my friends. I use my laptop to create electronic music a lot, so I think it fits well. The inside and outside is a very soft neoprene. The inside zipper track has a tiny sleeve so that the zippers don't scratch your cover up. My laptop is 15.6" and it fits well with a little bit of extra space for the power chord or mouse. I'd prefer that it be on an outside pocket so that I dont scratch my case cover. It also has two carrying-strap hooks on each side, however it doesnt come with the strap. I carry my computer in my backpack, so there is plenty of room for accessories. If you dont carry a backpack,I suggest you purchase something more all-inclusive.

This case looks so much better in person than in the pictures. I'm always on the look out for things that represent my personality. As a music lover, and someone who grew up recording songs onto cassettes, I knew I had to have this, and I don't regret making the purchase. It feels durable, isn't super bulky, and comes with metal d-rings on the side. I was pleasantly surprised at the rings on the side. The sleeve doesn't come with a strap, which I don't expect with a sleeve, but it's nice that the option is there. The only issue I'm having at the moment is the chemical-like smell it has, which is pretty strong, but it's only the inside of the sleeve and I'm sure that it'll eventually fade.

I purchased this case for my Sony laptop as well as my apple. It is well made, with solidly sewn seams. The outside has a beautiful pattern which blends in perfectly with the sleek design of the mac as well as the dark color of my sony laptop both of which are 14 inches. I've stuffed in my ipad (in another case) and my iphone as well as one laptop with no problem, but the bag is not bulky in any way. I confidently slide it inside multiple bags without any fear of breakage and scratching, and I know that it will look great when I pull it out. My students eye this one when I pull it out of my briefcase which enhances what little cool factor I have with my college students!

Bought this for my new ASUS touchscreen and I'm very pleased. The padding feels really good, but I do carry mine in a backpack with a protective laptop pocket. The colour/look is exactly like the picture - pretty warm yellow and orange and is very cheerful especially as the days get colder. As for fit, it's not perfect as my laptop is a wedge shape, so it's just a tad tight on the top zip edges (hence 4 and not 5 stars), but it still closes I just have to be slightly more careful when zipping it up. There is a neoprene smell, but of all the neoprene products I've bought (and there have been a couple) it's on the milder side. All in all I would recommend.

This laptop case is much sturdier than I expected, and like many other reviewers have said, it is more orange than it appears in the picture. Nonetheless, I really like it and have gotten plenty of compliments on it. I have an HP dv6-1230US 15.6" laptop and even with the 12-cell battery in the computer my laptop fits in this case without being too tight. My only complaint is that I wish the case had handles to carry it, but at least it does have clips on the side where a strap can be attached. There is also a strange rubbery smell when you first take the case out of the box, but that goes away after about a week or so.
