It's a neoprene sleeve. It WILL smell when you first take it out of the packaging. If you're lucky, it won't smell so strong, but it you're not, you'll want to let it air out for a while before you use it. I got a different sleeve for my sister that didn't smell much at all, but mine did. I just sprayed some fabric freshener on it and let it air out. Also, I ordered it a good month before I actually got my laptop, so it had plenty of time to air out before I actually started using it. (Don't worry, it won't take anywhere near a whole month to air out, I just like to be prepared).The sleeve does not come with a carrying strap, but it does come with rings so you can hook a strap onto it.Keep that in mind.The sleeve looks just like it does in the picture, and it's very cute. The inside is bright yellow (like, highlighter yellow), which is a nice touch. I ordered this size case based on the dimensions of the laptop I was getting, NOT the screen size (because a 15" widescreen laptop may not fit the same as a regular 15" laptop, which won't fit the same as a 15" laptop that has a wide bezel around the screen). The width is perfect, but when the laptop is in the sleeve there's about an extra inch or two of space between the top of the laptop and the top of the sleeve. This isn't bad, though, and usually you want to have a little extra space in your sleeve so you don't have to worry about the zipper rubbing against your laptop, or the case having to stretch to fit around the laptop (also, for college students, if you want to just slide your regular old paper notebook in there too and go to class without a big bag). The extra space certainly doesn't make me feel less secure about having my laptop in there. The sleeve is waterproof, and while I haven't actually dropped my laptop while it was in the case (there are some things I just would not do for the sake of a review), it seems like there's enough padding to prevent any serious damage if it was to fall.

Well, what really can you say? It's a very cool looking red and black sleeve, made of neoprene and it'll nicely protect your expensive laptop. Mine almost perfectly fits my 15.6" Samsung R519, reassuringly snug at the sides with a little bit of movement at the bottom however that's no problem as gravity will make the machine find it's correct seating when carried.It is a higher quality sleeve than the one that came with my Asus Eee Pc and the zip does feel better made than your average fastener. I think the "anti-shock" claim is maybe a little far fetched however as it feels just like standard - though thicker than normal - neoprene and I'm pretty sure this doesn't have the D30 anti-lock molecular structure found in more expensive bags.While it doesn't come with a shoulder strap it does have loops for you to attach the one off your usual laptop bag if you just want to use the sleeve. It's also small enough to fit inside my own laptop bag although it might not if your laptop's already a tight squeeze inside the one you yourself currently own.Okay, so it might not be the cheapest sleeve money can buy but it's hardly going to break the bank even at fifteen quid and it's certainly worth spending that little more to gain the extra protection compared against solely using your usual laptop bag.

I bought this item a while back and I love it,I have a gigantic 17" Dell Studio laptop and it juuuuust fits inside. I actually really like the snug fit to give me a better hold on the laptop itself.I was disappointed with the color. the picture I had seen was yellow so when I got it and it was obviously orange I was annoyed.I know a lot of people had mentioned a horrible smell and I admit that Mine had one too but nowhere near as bad as people described it. It smelled like any brand new chemically treated fabric. I didnt even have to air mine out, I just used it for maybe two days (even with the mild smell that no one noticed except me) and now it doesnt smell at all.I am pleased with the protection it gives my computer.It has slipped out of my fingers and survived my nephew knocking it off a table so I have found that the type of material used offered more protection than I first realized.The only truly obnoxious thing for me is the shoulder-strap nonsense. Its got the rings but doesnt come with a strap and if you can use the strap without the loop ripping off of the case, then you are lucky. My strap loop tore about a week after I started using it.Thats my review. If it wasnt for the strap thing I would have given it 5 stars

15.4" Laptop cover? Not really.No problem with the product quality. It's actually more padded than I expected, and certainly OK for protection against dunts and scratches. Only time will tell how long before it starts to look jaded, but, because of the material, I'm sure it will just sponge clean when necessary. As commented by another reviewer, it's odd to have rings for attaching a strap, but to have no strap provided. Not a big issue, just disappointing.Unfortunately, I've had to return it because, despite the title and description, neither of our two 15.4" laptops will fit inside it: one has a numeric keyboard which makes it wider than some,and it is bigger in every direction than this bag which will allegedly hold it; the other has no numeric keyboard, so is smaller - front to back it would fit, but its width is still exactly the same as the flattened case, so no possibility of actually fitting the laptop inside.However, as the quality of the product is OK, I have ordered the larger size as a replacement, and am returning this one.So be warned: if you have a 15.4" laptop, then buy the 17" case to fit it in.

After much looking, I came across and bought this case as I loved its quirkiness. Needing something that would protect my 13" macbook pro but not wanting a heavy case, this fitted that need perfectly. There's a nice amount of padding to the case which feels of good quality. The great thing I found too is that it fits around my macbook perfectly given it an extra feeling of protection and general quality too.The smell of plastic is extremely strong when first using it although this does wear off after a while. The zip works well and there's also the option of attaching a strap to the sides in order to carry it.Overall, it's a perfect and quirky case for carrying around your macbook.It's light but will definitely protect your macbook from scratches and small bumps. The look is definitely what makes this product though as it's a fun piece to carry. If I had to be picky, I would have liked to have had options for different colours as the orange might not have been my first choice but the overall cassette look is brilliant!

Before buying this wonderful retro laptop case, I was carrying my new MacBook Pro around in a plastic bag... This is definitely a step up!It fits my 15" laptop fairly snugly although there's enough room for peripheral gadgets like graphics tablets etc. More importantly, it protects all these from moderate bumps and scratches, and seems to have kept the rain out so far although I wouldn't recommend carrying it around outside during monsoon weather. There are two metal rings either side of the zip which you can't see in the photo, which I imagine you could attach a strap to and make it into a shoulder bag.All in all, very happy with my purchase - quick delivery,although the case was shipped with an excessive amount of packaging that Greenpeace would be up in arms about, and the bonus of getting kudos from everyone old enough to remember life before mp3s!

I bought this for a Lenova Yoga 2 11.6 inch - it is very tight and the corners too round for such a square cornered laptop. I can fit it in by pulling the fabric corners around the laptop but it isn't the right shape. If you want a case for a Yoga 2 you may be better off looking elsewhere or going for a larger bag than an 11.6 size. I suggest it would be better off if it was made 0.5 inch larger.Saying that the seams are well padded so I don't expect the zip to rub the edges of the laptop and it is a nice design. I think the thickness of the fabric will protect the laptop from mild bumps and scrapes although i wouldn't trust it to do more than stop it from getting scratched.There is no strapbut the metal loops seem to be robust enough for a strap although I can't say for sure as I've not used them myself.

The colour is a little darker than in the photo as other reviews mention but it's not that much darker. The print is bold and colourful which is wonderful, so much more interesting than a normal black sleeve.The padding is quite thick too but not as thick as some other more expensive sleeves (depends how much you want to spend) but for this price it is a good quality item. Of course the sleeve will not protect the laptop/mac if you drop it or something but for the amount of protection a sleeve can offer this seems as good as it gets. The zip is slick and moves easily without catching. The sleeve is generally a good quality product.My 13.3" mac fits perfectly inside without being too loose.Really pleased with my purchase,it does the job as well as being fashionable at the same time. Highly recommended.

I was so happy to get this item within one day of ordering it. I was also please to discover that this sleeve fit my HP Pavilion dv7-6199us like a glove. I love the design and the texture of the sleeve, which seems to be thick enough to give it some protection without being too bulky for my backpack. I would have given it five (5) stars if it did not have such an awful smell to it upon arrival and initial opening of the package. It smells like a cross between wet paint and a plastics factory. I pray the smell goes away very soon.I did notice the sleeve has two loops for a strap. Since I will be using this sleeve as a buffer against other items in my backpack or other bags,I doubt I'd ever use a strap and therefore no points were taking away for this not coming with one.

yeah, so it's a neoprene sleeve for my 13 inch macbook pro. and it fits in there just fine. and it looks just like the images provided with the exception that the orange seems to be more orange in person. which is fine 'cause i like orange and i'm sure fading will happen with time. it does have an odor about it that is peculiar but not entirely unpleasant. and also oddly familiar.in any case, the build seems sturdy enough and pretty much what was expected. i can't write to the durability considering i ordered it yesterday and received it today. you read that right. and that was with free amazon prime shipping. and today is a saturday. i win! so, yeah,buy this thing and you can win too!the only down side to all this is it doesn't come with a giant neoprene pencil.

After buying a new laptop and it being of the huge variety, (17.3"), I decided to grab a slip case for it as the bag I have wasn't quite big enough to carry it in.Liked the designs on these covers. A simple zipped bag with a piece of hard foam slipped inside made it an ideal light carrycase for my machine. The other design has a picture of an old cassette tape on it. Nice one, I grew up with them!If you want something simple to slide a big lappy into to save scratches, this will do nicely. It's a nice soft neoprene case as described. There are two zip-pulls, one either side of the case, (non-lockable) for easy sealing.Haven't weather-tested it yet but you wouldn't catch me taking my machine out in the rain anyway!

The designs is really nice. It is simple yet unique. My laptop fits nice and snug inside; a perfect fit. the case itself is soft, but not flimsy. The zippers are easy to use. Because the case fits exactly to my laptop, it isn't easy to slip it in quickly. I'd rather take my time to ensure the safety of my laptop than have it slide around in a case.DIGITTRADE has numerous designs; enough to fit anyone's taste. I liked several of the designs they had, but I chose this one to somewhat fit the major I am studying for college; Music Education.If you're looking for a unique design and %100 protection, I would purchase this item. The item was priced accurately. I got what I paid for.I am very happy with this item.

This is a great laptop sleeve, the only one I managed to find which is big enough for my new and enormous Dell Inspiron 17" widescreen laptop. This holds the laptop snugly but without having to force it in. I could probably fit the power lead in too if I needed to take the laptop with me, although I bought the sleeve primarily to protect it from the rigours of cats and children in the house.The neoprene fabric is thick, so provides good padding. The zips are good quality, and the design is lovely and nicely printed (not the sort of print that would flake and rub off!).I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone else with a huge laptop!

Bought this for my new ASUS touchscreen and I'm very pleased. The padding feels really good, but I do carry mine in a backpack with a protective laptop pocket. The colour/look is exactly like the picture - pretty warm yellow and orange and is very cheerful especially as the days get colder. As for fit, it's not perfect as my laptop is a wedge shape, so it's just a tad tight on the top zip edges (hence 4 and not 5 stars), but it still closes I just have to be slightly more careful when zipping it up. There is a neoprene smell, but of all the neoprene products I've bought (and there have been a couple) it's on the milder side. All in all I would recommend.

I bought this laptop sleeve for a Dell Inspiron N4020 (14"). I knew the case would be a little large, but it is far too roomy for my laptop and although I plan to keep it, I would not recommend it for a 14" laptop. I really like the retro tape design, but the orange in the photo is deceiving--it is actually fluorescent orange in person and the zipper casing is also neon orange, which is kind of an eyesore. The case includes D-rings for attaching a shoulder strap, but I wish the shoulder strap was included. I gave this product four stars because I think it would work well for a larger laptop--a 15-16" would work well.
