After reading dozens of reviews of netbook bags and sleeves on various websites, I settled on the tech air [sic] TANZ0116 and I'm really pleased. It fits my 11.6" HP DM1 really nicely - no slack around the sides for it to slip about in, but enough room at the corners to be able to open and close the zip without catching the corner of the laptop. It opens on the long top side, plus about a quarter or the two short sides, so your machine gets in and out really comfortably. The main compartment zip will also take a padlock. The photos on the web don't emphasise that front, zipped pocket expands and comfortably takes the power adapter (UK plug), the bag's shoulder strap and my small Targus travel mouse. If I'd seen this more clearly, I wouldn't have spent so long shopping around. The flat, velcro-closing pocket on the rear is definitely just for flat stuff like DL-size envelopes. Anything more bulky and the velcro tabs won't meet (they don't oppose perfectly on my bag, so this limitation is really obvious - my only gripe). The handles are comfortable for my small hands, and the removable shoulder strap has a rubber strip to sit on your shoulder. OK, it's not padded, but at least it won't slip.Overall if you need more than a simple sleeve for your netbook, then this offers a good range of features at an excellent price (I paid £8.60 inc P&P from Kikatek). I'm just about to register for my lifetime warranty on tech air's website.

This is an imrovement on the simple sleeves that offer provision to carry a laptop but do not offer space to house the PSU, mains lead or a few small accessories. This will do all of that and perhaps a little more. However, there may not be space for a mouse should that be needed although a large touchpad, such as that offered by Logitech, could be easily accommodated. It is not heavily padded nor armoured but it should protect its contents from light contacts with something solid but will not offer full protection should something heavy be placed upon it.The bag is certainly large enough to house my wedge-shaped 17.3-inch laptop which is close to 2.5 inches thick at the rear but less than an inch thick at the front edge.It is slightly oversized and may house some 18-inch laptops. On the downside, the carry handles are stitched in and the stitching is not obviously extended to a large area or reinforced and they should not be relied upon as the sole means of lifting or carrying. There is also a shoulder strap which attaches to D-rings at the sides of the case and positioned about 3/4 of the way up. There is no evidence that the strapping extends all the way down the sides and underneath the bag which would add to its security. As 17.3 inch laptops tend to be heavier, and mine is exceptionally weighty, these factors are of some concern. However the bag is quite low in price and not bad value for money.

I bought this product for my ASUS 11.6" S200E which seems to be wider than other 11.6" laptops. So I was concerned that this bag would be too small, but I took the chance and ordered it and luckily it fits, however a tad tightly widthwise. My laptop is 30.3 cm wide and the bag itself 31 cm, so a few extra millimetres would have made the case perfect for this particular laptop. This is not a big problem though, I just have to be careful when zipping up the bag on the sides. One thing worth mentioning: the bag I've received is actually slightly different from the one in the picture here. The brand symbol on the bag seen in the picture sits on the left side; on the bag I got it sits on the top/middle front part and is a different shape (round)and more orange. Also, the bag in the picture looks light grey to me, but my bag is a few shades darker, definitely closer to dark grey than light grey. I don't mind this though, the colour is still nice and the bag is the same in other respects. As far as I can tell, nobody else has mentioned in their review that the bag looks different, so perhaps the bag I've got is a new version of the same model? My overall impression of this case: good quality and very useful extra features such as carrying handles, shoulder strap and two extra pockets. Excellent value for money. But picture should be updated!

I spent a lot of time finding a laptop gab for my MacBook Air 11.6". Finally decided for this Techair Casual Classic 11.6" model. AirBook fits perfectly in there, not too tight and not too loose, so you can even fit some documents or thinner book in the laptop compartment. It has 2 side pockets - one with zipper the other with. Those accommodate laptop charger wires and mouse freely or even more equipment for your laptop. The bag is very nice, small, light and properly padded on both sides and bottom, so seems to be quite safe for your laptop. The bag and the shoulder trap does not look too cheap what I was afraid of. Also the shoulder trap is not too wide. The handles are not the most elegant but stick fine together with each other hopefully for long time. You can also hide them by turning them back into side pockets tough the one in side pocket with zipper tends to jump out again, so the bag can be used as a sleeve inside other bags. For a female the bag could be more colorful while still black additional to light-blue zippers but I will not give 1 star less because the bag is more than worth the price. The only worry I have is that hopefully the zipper will not scratch the sides of the laptop as the bag doesn't have any extra "tongues" to hide the zippers inside the bag. Absolutely worth the price.

This is more of a bag then a sleeve, especially with the shoulder strap. If you want something to protect your laptop whilst it's in another bag, then it's probably overkill, unless you particularly like having bags inside other bags. But if you want to be able to walk around town with advertising the fact that you have a laptop on you, then its ideal. It's well-padded, with a separate section for the laptop itself. It's good some nice detailing, too, like the rubberised zip stow on the front pocket (you can see it on the left hand side in the main image). Shoulder strap is a good length, too.I've got a Lenovo Yoga 11s and it fits the 11.6 inch bag with plenty of room to spare for cables and the like (it's not a snug fit). The one thing I'd watch for is the quality control.I had to send the first one back because the carry handles were different lengths, and on the replacement, an inside label has been sewn in awkwardly. The latter is hardly a deal breaker, but this kind of thing should be picked up before shipping. It's good. I'm not going to marry it, or buy it flowers or write it poetry. But I'm glad I bought it, and it's worth the money.

I have an Acer Aspire 11.6" notebook and wanted a case for it. After reading all the raving reviews that this bag got I decided to go for it. I wouldn't say that I am disappointed as you get what you pay for. The bag is well made - no denying that. The note book does fit snuggly inside and is well protected. But that is it. The bag is really designed for the notebook and nothing else. Yes you'll get a couple of pen drives in the front zipped pocket and a couple of bits of paper into the back pouch. But there is nowhere for the power pack and cable. You could force the power pack into the front zipped pocket I guess but the awkwardness of the 3 pin plug & power pack could damage the notebook.Unfortunately I feel that noone else addressed this in their reviews. So baiscally this bag is very very good if all you want is a protection sleeve with a zip and strap but it's nothing like the bigger bags that you get for a laptop i.e. that comes with loads of space for all sorts of stuff.I hope this helps those looking for something only to protect their notebook and those looking for an 'all-in-one'Thanks for reading

I needed a bag for my 10.1" Toshiba Notebook which is brown and wanted to get a brown bag to match so was delighted to see this bag on Amazon. I did look at the reviews which were positive so decided on this one hoping it was as good as it looked in the picture and it is.The bag is well made and my N.B. fits perfectly, the zips are good quality and sturdy, there are rings on either side to facilitate a shoulder strap [supplied]the handles have Velcro so can be stuck together to make carrying by hand more comfortable. On either side there are pockets one being zipped as shown on the picture. I would have given 5 stars but felt one of the pockets needed a gusset to accommodate power unit and lead, which make the pocket bulge as they are a tight fit and spoils the look of the bag because of this.I think it would be worth paying a couple of pound more if the manufacturers could address this, however the bag is good value for the money and in my opinion much better than some I looked at in a well known department store which were double the price so all in all a good buy.

I've been using this bag for 6 months now with an 11.6" MacBook Air (Late 2010). The front zipped compartment accommodates a MagSafe Power Adapter, USB Ethernet Adapter, USB Card Readers, USB modem, USB Flash drives and an external 2.5" hard drive... phew! The photo does not show the back slip pocket, which has a 4cm velcro fastener at the top of its 16cm height, although my MacBook Air Superdrive prevents the velcro from fastening (which is not a problem for me). Some people may be put off by the orange interior (as I thought I would be), but the majority of colour is only seen when removing items from each compartment. The laptop interior is designed so that the zip does NOT rub against the laptop when opening/closing due to additional material...I tend to pull the zip outwards as I'm pulling it anyway.I only use the carrying handles (straps stored in front compartment too) and, all in all, I have no regrets with this purchase.

When I ordered this to carry my Lenovo X121e in, I thought I would get some flimsy little bit of rubbish. What arrived is the exact opposite. The padding on each side of the main compartment is more than enough. The big plus was I have 3 pockets where I thought there were only 2.Update 2016I'm a travel blogger and use this for all my travel writing kit as I go to places. The custom built Lenovo with it's power accessories/mouse, a custom rebuilt Leica/Lumix and it's accessories. Together, it all weighs 6 lbs and handles everything very well. When on location I just carry my camera, a water bottle and food pack for day trips to various locations. I did waterproof it with Granger to be on the safe side.I turn the zipped side to my body with the Velcro pocket on the outside and pickpockets do not like that :) It has not let me down and I still use it.Highly recommended.

I was after a case for my new laptop and after many hours of deciding which one to go for, I opted for this one. My laptop is 15.6" however due to it being quite wide, I bought the larger case as it's better to be safe than sorry. It's a great case if you want something inbetween a sleeve and a bag. I didn't want anything too bulky, or too flimsy and this is a perfect compromise. Its quality is great and seems well stitched together. I like the contrasting vibrant orange lining, and the simple grey exterior is timeless, which is a break from typical black. It fits everything I wanted it for, which is my laptop in the main compartment, lead/charger in the front section and paper documents in the back section.my brother and I both have one, so it must be good. Go for it if you want something simple, effective and that does the job.

I wanted a bag with shoulder strap for my new Dell XPS 15z mainly to store it when not in use and the occsional need to carry it. I was originally looking at much more expensive bags, but then I found this one at a very reasonable price. It fits my laptop perfectly and is quite well made with pockets either side - one open and the other zipped to carry your mains cable and any other bits & bobs. It doesn't look at all bad in mid grey with its contrast orange lining and I would say it's great for my purposes, although if I was commuting daily with the laptop I would probably need a heavier duty case with more protection.I have to add that this product has not been very robust - the fabric hassplit at the stitching on the side pocket which is surprising as I have used it very little to carry my laptop. It may just be a one-off.

I chose this bag to fit my Samsung chromebook and it is the perfect fit! The chromebook fits snugly inside the bag and can be taken out with ease and with no worries of it being scratched. The bag is well padded to protect my chromebook with a separate zipped compartment on the front for the charger. It also has a velcro compartment on the back for notes, pens etc. The bag has two carry handles and also a detachable shoulder strap which is ideal for wearing on your shoulder as it has a comfort strap attached. The material seems to be quite tough and suited for carrying outdoors as the rain hasn't penetrated through. This bag is also small enough to fit into a larger satchel/rucksack etc.I would recommend this bag for students and as a travel bag for Samsung Chromebook owners.

I have a 17" laptop and really struggled to find a decent range of bags and sleeves for this size, compared to what is available in 13" and 15" sizes. The bag was a decent price, it arrived quickly and it looked like the picture. My laptop fits in easily with lots of room left for my tablet and notepad to slide in too. It has a zipped pocket on one side and an additional Velcro closed pocket on the other. Both are the full width of the case so I can fit in my laptop and phone chargers, cables, etc without any struggle.Overall I am happy with this bag, though I have just read another reviewer's comments about the strap on his having broken twice already and given how heavy my laptop is,I am concerned about this - but will just have to wait and see.

Got this for my daughters small laptop the ACER Aspire-ONE which has a 11.6 inch screen . It was what she wanted for going to Nottingham Trent Uni. and needed to be tough enough to protect the laptop on all the train journeys she was to do. Well its now a year old and has done the job of protecting the laptop very well, still looks new'ish. Its been used on a lot of trains as my daughter uses this time to study and write up her notes etc. The bag also shows little signs of wear and is still in use and expect will see her time out at the Uni. Its easy to use and has a useful size zip pocket to store the mains charger and other cables. There is also an open pocket for putting note books in too. This is a very well made strong bag and is recommended

I have bought this bag for my Lenovo IdeaPad S205 11.6 inch Netbook and I must say it came up to be much more than I hoped for. First, it's not just a sleeve, it's a full bag with shoulder strip and handles. So it can go into a backpack at airport security control but then you can use it a proper bag when say taking your netbook to a cafe.Sleeve/bag is fully padded so netbook stays well protected all the time. Inside is coloured orange which gives nice contrast to outer grey colour. Two extra compartments are very handy, one can hold power supply and a small mouse, another a small book or a notebook (paper notebook that is,not another computer!).Overall a very handy and stylish product (and top quality as well).
