I brought this before Christmas to go with my new HP Laptop that I was getting for Christmas. Let me start off with the case which is the main reason why you will be buying this.Firstly the case has an inside pocket for folders or important documents that you don't want to fold and has a pocket on the outside for any accessories including chargers, microfiber cloth and USB Sticks. These two pockets are extremely useful as you can keep everything you need for the day to use along with the laptop. The pockets are strong and wont easily tear and can hold many items.Secondly the actually case is nice to hold with an arm strap or handle which makes it easy to transport and the space to put thelaptop is huge - with the new laptops coming out now such as my new HP Laptop the case is actually becoming too big, but don't worry it has an elastic strap to securely hold the laptop in place - so if you have an old laptop that is perhaps bigger than the new slimmer laptops the case can still hold it but if you have a slim laptop it will also fit that so the case is very flexible. The main part of the case which houses the laptop can have a padlock attached to the zip which offers the user high security and can be useful when travelling e.g. through an airport where the laptop case would have to be scanned.I've been using this laptop case for over a week now and I am extremely happy with the quality of it and its better than the more expensive cases. So its a cheap, affordable case with the quality of an expensive case. Finally to top it off it comes with a mouse which now a days many people don't use with laptops because the laptop is either touch screen or has a mouse pad, however its perfect for those who are of the older generation who still prefer the good old mouse. Unfortunately I haven't used the mouse and taking other people reviews into account they say its not very good. However for just over £10 this case is amazing even if the mouse doesn't work. So to top it all off I would definitely recommend this caseUPDATE 24/01/14: I have recently used the mouse to find out if other people are right about it not working. However I was surprised as after plugging the mouse into my laptop it starting downloading the drivers and it worked perfectly. So this product is perfect. The mouse is also light and not bulky so its portable and can be slotted inside the case. I'm still extremely happy with the case and even after daily use nothing has broken. Overall I would still highly recommend this product.

I just received my new Tech Air bag, which was packed well inside a cardboard delivery box, the bag was easy to remove from the plastic covering but the free mouse was a bit harder to get out of its hardened plastic container which required scissors. The bag is quite simple but has a good texture and nice feel to it, a handy zip storage compartment on the front of the bag. It fully un-zips so you can use your laptop whilst the bag is open. Inside the laptop compartment there is only one Velcro strip to hold the laptop in place during transit but this is enough as the bag fits a 15-15.6 inch laptop well. Also inside the laptop compartment is just one Velcro fastened sleeve in which you could put paperwork etc.The strap is a little on the short side for me but I am 6ft tall. I will probably use the strap off my old laptop bag for the extra length. If you are looking for lots of pockets or extra storage this does not offer much, no more than I have mentioned. I would have liked to have had some pen holder loops and a sown in address label pouch inside the laptop compartment as my old bag had in case I lost it but I have left two cards in both the storage sections with my details offering a reward to return if it should get lost!Overall it's a simple but light and strong basic laptop bag and is in my opinion good value for the money. The free mouse is illuminated underneath and on the spin dial in-between the two buttons on top in a red light which looks nice and comes on with movement of the mouse the goes out a few seconds later. The mouse was a handy accessory for me as I did not have one before as I use a laptop, so it gives me that extra when using the laptop on a table etc.For the money I like the bag and am pleased with it, having a feel of quality and a good looking Tech Air gel type tag on the front left hand bottom corner of the front storage compartment of the bag. A+++ and I would recommend.

Excellent value for money at the price of £15.99 which I bought it for. The material is very thick and protective (although the section where the laptop goes could have more padding) and seems hard wearing, the zips are very sturdy and of a high quality and the top handle is nice and padded and securely fastened to actual case. I am confident that the case will last me for a long time, even in constant use and even though I can sometimes be a bit heavy handed and rough with laptop cases due to my disability (cerebral palsy). The shoulder strap that is provided is a little on the short side however it is also well made and is not a major issue anyway as most other shoulder straps could be attached to the case as it is the standard method. The only slight limitation with the case is the front pocket, however it is completely adaquete for my usage and I imagine most other people's needs. The pocket does not have any compartments or straps within it and whilst you can squeeze a lot in there you have to be careful as the items will start to push on the inside and then damage the top of your laptop and also bend and fold any documents you may have in the document compartment of the main section. That being said, the front pocket comfortably fits my laptop's charging lead/power pack, my business card holder, sunglasses and keys, a few USB leaders, and a small electronics organiser case without anything being visible on the inside. Furthermore, on top of my laptop there is a room for a thick book and my iPad mini in a tough case so as a say for most people this case would be more than adaquete. Finally, the mouse that is included with the case is a real bonus. When I plugged it in it worked instantly without the need to install any drivers and it seems precise enough.

Bought this for a Toshiba 15.6 inch screen. The laptop fits snugly inside this with no room around the edges to rattle around anywhere. There's a Velcro strap inside so that you can secure the laptop so when you open the case it doesn't just fall out and break. Then handle seem strong enough and has lasted me quite some time so far, without much sign of snapping. It has frayed and cracked a little but it has not split apart and can still be used as a handle. The zips go ¾ of the way around both the top flap section and the main body which means the you can take out the laptop without having to slide it out. There's plenty of room in the top flap for paper work, notepads and more, with another zipper section on the bottom of the main section that opens at an angle, sort of, and can house more A4 size sheets of paper, folders and more.In all, for the price, this is worth having a serious look at as it does seem to last a while and fits around a 15.6 inch laptop as snug as a bug in a rug.I nearly forgot about the mouse, which, to be honest, I have not used that much, but I have the drivers installed and have given it a test run. It a basic wired mouse and runs like one too, the scroll wheel is in the centre of the right and left clicks and the wire is a good length. It's a nice little bonus for when you have a sudden phobia about touchpads.

We all want bargains. This is a good price of a product that does what it claims to do, butdon't expect it to exceed your expectations.Packaging for the bag was about right. The case itself is perhaps a little roomy for the stated size (laptops are getting thinner all the time) - but plenty of room for sandwiches or documents dending on your priorities. One main pocket with strap and innner (slightly flimsy) internal pocket. One slight smaller pocket on the outside. As much padding as I've seen on more expensive cases. The mouse manufacturer hasn't cottoned on that users want hassle free packaging. Mine even came with metal studs to hold the plastic 'envelope' together (totally unnecessary).I still resort to help from "Stanley" to get in to these things. But mouse does have 3 buttons, one as part of the scroll wheel and operates just like you'd expectI wouldn't buy the case buy on strength of a getting free mouse, but useful to have a mouse and if it goes missing you're not heartbroken I would happily buy another of the cases at this price, but only time will tell if they stand up to regular use..

My son chose this after getting a laptop for Christmas. It was the “free” mouse that swung it; he was not bothered about the design or features of the case!As it turns out the case is pretty standard, quality-wise, it is OK for home use, but you’d want something better if you’re an Exec wishing to impress! The only issue so far is that the zip does catch sometimes, but generally only when closing the case without the laptop in it because it is not holding it’s shape so well. The mouse however is a really neat, small, comfortable to use and looks more expensive than it is. It seems to be good quality and offers a precise external pointing device for anyone not wishing to use the track pad.So for us,it is really a mouse that included a “free” case! My son is happy and that is what counts as he paid for it out of money also received at Christmas.

Having been benevolent and given my original laptop bag to my grand-daughter I required a new one for a trip to the USA.Wandered onto Amazon and searched for one that would not cost too much (OAP and it wont be used that much). Came across this one from Tech Air.Looked good and weight was low, good for OAP to carry on shoulder. Added bonus of a freebee mouse (pensions are low these days).Ordered and it arrived within 2 daysIt does what is says on the tin, carries your laptop, mouse, power supply and other bits and pieces. Has sufficient padding for laptop protection. Looks good and the strap is adjustable enough to allow a comfortable hanging length.Only one thing missing,it doesn't have a band across the back to allow you to put it on a wheeled carry on case handle, but then it was not expensive in the first place.I give it 4.5 out of 5.

The laptop case is light and isn't terribly made. There's nothing luxury about the feel but it will certainly serve my purpose of keeping a laptop scratch-free while moving around. Importantly, the handle and attachments for the shoulder strap are of some hard-wearing plastic - as far as I can tell - lol... Don't buy this case if you want great solidity and loads of padding to cushion your precious laptop. There isn't much. The mouse is fairly small - which I see as convenient. It worked immediately when I plugged it in - no install - but that may just be my particular laptop.

This is a no-frills laptop bag which I needed in a hurry for my new laptop. It holds the laptop securely enough through velcro, and the single large front pocket can store quite a lot of extras. Currently I've managed to fit in mine an external sound interface, an XBox 360 controller, the laptop charger, a spare battery, and a few extra cables. All fits nicely and easy to carry. Even though it seems flimsy, the material is quite strong & doesn't feel as though it's going to tear any time soon. Good quality cheap laptop bag.Oh, and the mouse is a waste of time, don't bother.

I recently bought an all in one computer which came with a wireless mouse. Initially I thought it was great but then it started to run low on battery and opened 128 browser windows for no apparent reason. So when I saw that this came with a USB mouse it had to be bought. The case itself is very well made and, although it looks small, it will take all the papers together with the laptop. It is also lightweight, important for me because I am disabled. The mouse is great, smaller than your average but absolutely just the thing I needed.

A decent quality laptop bag that has shown no signs of wear after almost a year of use. It is a durable, no frills laptop bag that is fit for its purpose. I would definitely recommend this product to someone who wants a good value budget laptop case. I do not often use the mouse included with it as I have had no use for it. However, I have tested it and it does work, but you can tell it is cheaply made, but I do not expect anything different when it is free with a £9.99 laptop case. It is a great buy!

19.6.2013

I chose this rating as the case is so lightweight yet strong. I read a few adverse comments as well as good ones when I was looking for a case but I am who makes my own mind up anyway. The optical USB is fine and it was a bonus to get the mouse as an extra with the case although this extra did not influence my choice of laptop. I have used it several times but I also bought a wireless mouse, but I like the idea of a "standby".There is sufficient room for keeping notepads, instructions etc.

I bought this laptop case to replace my original identical case. The handle split on the first one so that it was no longer safe to transport the laptop inside it. But it lasted for about two years and was used daily so I was quite pleased with the quality of it overall. I found the shoulder carry strap useful when travelling and the storage pockets good for transporting computer accessories. The mini mouse was quite good value. However, there wasn't one included with this purchase. .

This bag is well made and, unlike a previous purchase (not from Amazon I hasten to add) my laptop actually fits well and with space to spare. There is room in the side pocket for mains adapter and my two portable drives so I'm self-contained when using it away from home. The retaining strap for the laptop inside the bag could have been a bit sturdier, but I suppose the laptop is still in the case so it's not really going anywhere, just wobbles a bit. Overall, excellent value.

This case is so much cheaper but better value than those seen in high street shops. I didn't need the mouse which came with it but it's a bonus to have. Great padded protection for my laptop, separate front pocket so that the lead doesn't scratch the laptop when put together. Great carrying options. Fits my laptop perfectly and the zip positioning means I can use the laptop in the case, just flipping the lid up rather than having to remove it from the case.
