What a great pack. The suspension system keeps the pack far off your back to allow air flow, much more so than Osprey Manta, the '18 Gregory Salvo, or the new Osprey Hikelite 26. I have tried 10 bags looking for a ventilated back pannel, stretch mesh stuff pocket and organizing pockets. The fit was great for me. I'm a 19" torso, with athletic build. The 24L version has a slightly smaller frame, and thiner web hip belt with no wrap around pading or pockets. I found the 28L fit was just slightly larger which was nice as the shoulder straps were just long enough to fit well. The more pronounced padded hip belt on this 28L made a difference for me and feels great.

I had the older Futura 28 with the two separate main compartments and absolutely loved this pack. I used it to house my camera gear in the top compartment and my hiking gear and jacket in the bottom. This made it easy to access gear for either need. It’s unfortunate a pack in this size and configuration is no longer available. I loved the zipper top for getting camera gear in and out without having to deal with a top load flap and draw string to keep it tight. Made everything quick to access. Mine was recently stolen and I am trying to source a replacement. Am I correct in that this configuration has been discontinued?
