The air conditioner works well and cools the room. The BTU is actually 9800 not 14500 as advertised.The hose is a bit on the short side but bought a 3m 125mm flex hose and attached it to the original hose. Doesn't quite fit the attachment but manged to bodge it and works OK. Overall I would recommend this product

Had previously bought another unit, this was really quite noisy compared to this one. Now can have it on in the lounge and don’t have to alter the sound on the tv. Powerful unit cools down our 7x4 mtr in no time at all.
