Having previously only had a pedestal fan or a unit that constantly needed topping up with ice and water to cool my workshop, this unit is a godsend! Even if on the hottest days, the workshop is cooled to a comfortable temperature within 15 minutes and I can actually keep the windows closed to keep the varmint flies out! It is a little noisy, but no more so than the average fan... and the result is so much better! Instead of having hot air blown about (even with the water cooler) this delivers an arctic blast if you're of a mind to set it on it's lowest temperature.

I recently purchased one of these air con units they work very well and soon have the room chilled to a comfortable temperature. The unit is a little on the loud side but I manage to sleep with it running through the night, the sleep mode on it make it possible to set so it turns off while you sleep but as I said I leave it running all night.

Was skeptical as it was not a name brand but the design is sleek and functionlity superb. Get beautiful genuine AC cold air and I can chill my room in 5-10 minutes with the door closed and curtains drawn. Wonder how I did without it!

Having bought this unit I would recommend it .it really works well and definitely cools the room perfectly I would suggest that you get a window seal for the hose.

Good for the price. Delivered within 4 days. A little noisy but acceptable in a small office. Good cooling.
