Largely slated upon its release, Death by Degrees sees Tekken's Nina Williams star in her own adventure as part of a crack team out to perform an infiltration mission that begins on an ocean liner, the game has aged well and much to my surprise I found myself wondering why it was so hated when released. The visuals are crisp and colourful, the locations are well designed, the enemies are varied and quite clever, Nina's moves are as viceral as ever and the critical hit system allows you to take-em-down in one well placed strike. Add to this smart gunplay and cool music and you get a package that is better than average, in fact it gave me a lot of fun. Its not without its problems.

As a fan of the tekken series, I was naturally intruiged when I saw this game. I bought it on impulse and was quite glad I did! This game feels very similar to resident evil without the zombies and you get to bash people's skulls in this!The combat system takes some getting used to and I am not a fan of the blocking system or lack thereof but the fighting is very fun indeed! You just fight to build up your meter until you can perform a bone-shattering special move in x-ray perspective. Need I say more?!p.s. watch out for the annoying ninjas who throw stuff at you which you can't block or dodge. grr
