My bikes water bottle cage is on the bottom of the frame so I always use the water bottle holder on the side. I've done a downhill run at Mountain Creek bike park and forgot to use the strap and my bottle stayed so with the strap it ain't moving. In the main compartment I fit a small pump, tube (2.8 27.5 so huge), 3 tire normal sized levers, zip ties, bike tool, phone and keys.In short bottle pouch is awesome and main compartment can hold everything you need.

I'm moving from a backpack while riding to the waist bag. It's been nice to get weight off of my shoulders for riding. It feels like I can move much better. This bag has more than enough room for all of my critical tools for the trail. It fits well and stays in place like I hoped.

For shorter summer rides I will be using this. For longer or colder rides I’ll stick with the backpack. This 2l pack will fit an inner tube, patch kit, multi tool, chain tool, micro pump and a few snacks. Bottle holder seems to work fine. Noticeable cooler back.
