I've searched for a reasonable quality budget tent for years, tried all kinds of weird & wonderful brands and one by one they let me down, some after only a single weeks camping. I got two of these for myself and a mate and they are still going strong after probably a dozen or so trips.Pro's;Small enough for me to carry in a 65ltr rucksack alongside all the other clutter.Easiest tent i've ever owned for assembly, takes ten minutes to erect and fits easily back into the bag afterwardsIt's waterproof, always a great help that but surprising how many budget tents aren't.Decent sized plastic windows at the front to let plenty of light in.Good groundsheet.Con's;It's not exactly aerodynamic so if the wind gets rough it does tend to get blown around a bit.I wanted a tent i could sit up in so i have to pay the price i suppose.Despite two vents in the roof condensation does build up a bit.And the biggie for some people..........you'd be hard pushed to get two adults in with anything other than two sleeping bags, even then it would be a struggle. For my purposes used as a light(ish)one man tent with bags of storage space and room to sit upright easily it's perfect but don't expect a roomy 2 man tent.

Used this by the side of Loch Tay last week, it was just below zero and I was fine although I had a good sleeping bag. It didn't rain but it was a little windy and the tent was fine. The tent is comprised of two layers, the first layer includes the ground sheet. You click two rods across this layer then bend to shape and attach to the ground with pegs then simply drop the outer layer onto the first and attach it lace fasteners. The tent has two pockets inside for loose gear and is a good size for two people. There was a little build-up of condensation between the two layers when I woke up but this is to be expected in this weather. Turned the outer skin inside out and gave it a shake and it was ready to pack away in mins after drying.Put-up and put away time took ten mins. Pack size is a little larger than the more expensive 2 man tents, id say its about 30% bigger and heavier than a expensive tent pack. Well done Coleman and Amazon with the pricing.

I bought this tent for a festival that I visited in July 2011 and I think it was a good purchase. Easily put up even for a newbie like me, and according to my friends, most of whom are veteran campers - very good overal quality. The space is enough for two persons, provided they are not two strong and heavy men (perfect for a couple of man and woman). During the three days of the festival there was some rain, that was not quite heavy, but still enough to "overpower" the one-layer tents that some had brought - this one did not let a drop of water in. There were also some winds that were more than medium power - no problem at wall. The only downside is that the entrance is at the long side, which makes it impossible to use standard airbeds, that are inflated from the short side, and this is the reason I give only 4 stars. If the issue with the airbeds is of no concern to you (you prefer mats etc.) - this is your tent!

Bought this for my son to use at Download Festival 2012 and it has more than met expectations. My son is 6'4" and he had plenty of room to lay out but he said he felt more comfortable laying diagonally (he did not share the tent with anyone so was able to do this). There would be room for 2 smaller people and their bags. The instructions were not very clear though so was good that he had a practice run before he went. Once you know how to put the tent up though it is very easy and quick (although with me being just over 5 foot tall I struggled a little to put the outer layer on). This tent stood up to wind and torrential rain and the little porch area was excellent for storing muddy wellies.Easy to take down and fits back in the bag easily too. Very pleased with this tent.

I bought this on sale to camp whilst working at festivals. It already had very good reviews which is why I chose it.It was very compact inside the carry bag and did not weigh much. It was easy and quick to assemble, with good instructions attached to the carry bag. However, I was camping for a week and there was no way another person could have fitted in the tent with a large suitcase or rucksack as I had. It rained heavily for one day whilst I was there, and it did not leak or sweat at all. The tent was also quick to disassemble, and surprisingly easy to put back in the carry bag.Overall, I would highly recommend this as a cheap tent to take on any minor camping trip.

Superb product especially for the price, I'm not a natural born camper, more of a glamper, and the ease with which the tent is put up is brilliant, it took under ten mins. Because the top part of the tent is pegged down as well as the guylines, the tent is going nowhere, and its very spacious inside with inside pockets, and a useful hook to hang your lantern on. Can't knock this product, its small but spacious, easy to put up and down, 10/10

Wanted a little tent for spur of the moment nights in the lakes. Goes up & down quickly with minimal fuss, it kept the rain out for two days and a night so pleased with it. We used an airbed, which unfortunately raised me off gound enough that i couldn't fit in without head/feet touching the sides. Without the airbed (on mats)it was fine. No room for two people and bags, parked the car next to the tent - problem solved.

Waterproof, compact & low weight when packed up, fairly easy to set up & put away (putting up is easy but putting away is trickier). Overall I'm happy with this but it is small for a two man tent (two people are possible but only just) & the angle of the entrance combined with flap design means it's hard to go in or out when it's raining without inside getting wet.

I had a little trouble getting it up and the instructions could be alot better. However it had a lot of space inside and was very good in some rainy and windy weather. It was a nice colour and came in a nice bag which was easy to carry and had everthing you need.Overall a good product i would recommend to everybody.

I took this to two festivals in a row and slept in it for 2 weeks without any issues. It only rained twice, one night was a serious downpour, and it withstood the horrible weather. Very easy to put up, and lightweight enough to either carry around or strap to the side of your bag and not even notice it's there.

Bought bthis tent a couple of years back, but I've just been using it Again to sleep outside through the hot weather we've been having. Had surprise thunder storms the other night and got through it quite dry. The condensation is another matter though, tried all things but still damp through the night.

The product description is accurate and fair. I set this up at Glastonbury relatively easily and the tent remained rigid and dry despite some pretty terrible weather. I'd argue that with two people and luggage this may be a little short on space but at this price I couldn't fault the product.

The coleman crestline two man tent is a medium weight easy to erect bell tent. Unlike a lot of new tents it has a full length fly sheet- this really helps on cold nights. The only problem I have is the old fashioned polyethylene floor, which is probably half its weight.

This tent survived Download Festival 2012. Believe me, this was a true test of character for a tent. With high speed winds, tipping rain and plenty a drunk passer-bys tripping over guide ropes - I can vouch that this tent will make it.

Needing a lightweight tent for mountain biking adventures this one fitted the bill. It's a doddle to erect and seems to be fairly well constructed - but we have not yet tested it in the rain: thus 4 stars.
