I've been impressed with this one so far. I was drawn to the 'Gorillapod' brand at first but have no regrets over choosing this Cullman. It's been strapped to my backpack (when not in use) for many miles so far and has yet to show any signs of wear or damage. I also like blue!This model has a fixed, non-tilting or pivoting head. But, in my opinion, there's enough adjustment within the legs to account for this.My only grip is that the screw that mounts to your camera must be operated with a tool - ideally, a wide flat-bladed screwdrivers. A large coin couple be used but I now keep an M8 washer key-ringed to the zip on my hip-belt pocket (which is also handy for adjusting Leki walking poles).

Did a lot of research on Amazon before I bought this and as it claimed a load bearing capacity of 1.5kg bought it to use with my 831g Lumix FZ1000. Wanted this for a month long trip abroad where I needed a handy tripod to carry in my bag. Once I put my lumix on it, all three legs buckled under the weight and I was left with a tripod that is about 12 cm high instead of 30cm and not too steady at that. However after playing with it have found the trick is to bend the last two pieces of all three legs inwards and it stabilises things and it is then capable of holding my lumix if at a reduced height of about 27cm. So will update this review after my trip.
