before we go into the my review i need to point out I've owned numerous headsets from logi, HyprX, turtle beach over the years, so far i owned 3 Logitech (all broke), 1 Hyper-X (not ergonomic for me), 3 Turtle beach (wire gave up), but so far this is the best flipping headset I've seen, felt, and wore in a long time.firstly the built quality is absolutely amazing, from the moment i pulled it out the box, and put it on my head although the weight at first was quiet a bit off putting but I've wore this headset for about 6 hours in a row so far with limited breaks (mainly toilet and water breaks) and i have not taken the weight into account at all,i believe that it is extremely well distributed around the headset AND FOR ONCE i don't have to amputate my leg just to hide the pain i get from taking off the headset as others in the past were just so uncomfortable to wear so when you'd take it off it would leave behind an excruciating pain but this one HELL NO it is perfectly built. The sound quality honestly blew me away... the base, the voice clarity and also how versatile this headset is while using the iCUE settings. Versatility is a BIG yes on this one. I can play my games like, R6S, Hell Let Loose, Post Scriptum, BF 1, Stellaris, MOWAS2, SW BF 2, PUBG, cheeki bit of fortnite, League of legends etc... it is also amazing to listen to music in it.i will be updating this review within the next 3-4 weeks and so on and on for you people.<<<<Update 1>>>>Alright it may have been more than about 4 weeks however i promised updates on this for you guys.<< Durability and versatility>>So far the headset hasn't shown any sign of breaking yet however i do use extreme precaution when using it as all 3 of my past headsets for pc broke in similar ways having the support for the speakers completely disintegrated within the first 4 weeks (Logitech). This one however is still strong and still feels like it is brand new, no damage, no sound bug, no weird buzzing sound or echos in the background. The ear cushion is probably one of the best that I've ever seen and used, i never had my ears burning up with them specially recently with the heat wave we just had... heat was never an issue. it is also very adjustable and i have a big head and even still i don't need to extend the size by that much and it is still great.<<Performance>>This headset is basically what you need for games, music, movies, video and music editing etc... the bass is not really ear or brain shaking by itself nor with the ICUE software which honestly is not a problem and most people just wouldn't care to be honest as the sound is already godlike as it is, but for me i just like bassy songs so i just downloaded a bass amplifier and i was all sorted.<<weight>>honestly it feels heavy but it isn't heavy if that makes sense? I think it is mostly due to how well it grips on your head which make it feel like that but overall i can have this headset on for like 10 hours with minor breaks in between and it still doesn't bother me. weight distribution is also on point!<<issues>>The only issue i have with it is the wire, it tangles after a while and it is hard to get it back to normal as some curves and knots remains, however it isn't that annoying and doesn't really affect the performance or quality but never the less it is there.Overall still an amazing headset.

This was my first dive into the world of Corsair headsets and I have to admit, they've done one hell of a job with the Void Elite. So I'll start off by saying I haven't experienced any headset size related issues as others seem to. However I did notice the bottom of the ear-cups don't clamp to the head with the same force as the rest of the cups, which may be why some people may be experiencing a gap at the bottom. The Corsair Void series really sets it self apart from any other headset due to the unique design, which I have found to be very comfortable over long periods. The lack of faux leather ear-cups is a welcome relief as they have a tendency to ware out and slowly disintegrate.Instead being replaced by a very comfortable and breathable fabric. The banding (Despite appearances) is extremely comfortable and whilst it may not look high quality, it certainly feels it.So, the headset it great and comfortable. But what about the audio? I'll start with the good. The 2.0 stereo sounds better than anny other 2.0 headset within it's price range and I would definitely say I have heard worse from headsets that cost considerably more. The Corsair iCue software is okay, not great. But there is enough to be getting on with and tweak to suit most people. Now, the bad. The 7.1 hasn't had the love that the rest of the headset has, frankly when you turn on 7.1 it just sounds as if you are in a large empty room where every sounds echoes. Not bad for the price but I was fairly disappointed as the 7.1 seems to be a big selling point for the headset but is fairly lacking in comparison to the rest of the experience.HOWEVER. In my opinion the true selling point of this headset should be the mic! I could not believe the audio quality this mic is capable of! I have owned a lot of headsets in my time as well as independent mics but they pale in comparison to the bag for your buck value of the Corsair Void Elite mic, it is unbelievably clear. I have been in Discord chats with 10 people and they have all commented about the audio quality of my voice and enquiring where I got my microphone. Just make sure you use the little mic filter that comes with it!Conclusion. The Corsair Void Elite is an incredible headset. True the 7.1 is not very good, but let's be real. If you really want a decent 7.1 headset you'll be expecting to spend more than this headset costs, and it does the job well enough for the price. This headset gets 5 stars from me, not only for having great sounding 2.0. But for being the first headset I have ever used or heard to have a completely clear and high quality mic.

My Sennheiser GAME ONE earphones broke after 4 years of use, the last few months their sound not working in one ear unless volume wheel on headphones was all the way up. I liked how ventilated they were, the 3D sound, the fabric earcups. But I didn't want to spend £150 on another set.I tried some £20 cheap 4.5 star reviewed Chinese ones from Amazon, the rating is what ultimately guided me but they turned out to be the cheap thing I should have expected. They got sweaty with their faux leathery ear cups, there was barely any noise cancellation, 3D sound was almost non-existent. Totally not worth it and I would never be able to get used to them coming from a high-end pair.So I searched again looking closely for the things that I wanted and found the Corsair VOID ELITE.Putting them on the first time after a week of the cheap ones was amazing, the ventilated soft cups caressing my irritated ears, I knew these were for me. After 6 months of using them now I can say I am as happy with them as the more than twice as expensive GAME ONEs.I can recommend them to you, but there may be some adjustment from your prior headset. I would have preferred to lift the microphone boom to turn it off, instead you need to locate a button on the side of your left cup, once you get used to its location it becomes instinctive anyway. The volume wheel is on the back of the left cup, it also becomes instinctive to use but sometimes rarely you can accidently turn the volume wheel if you lie down on a pillow or something, but its no bother and you can adjust the sound again for your current session ambience.Ultimately you are getting premium feel headphones for a mid-range price. I don't normally write reviews but I think I owe it to Corsair for saving me the £90 extra I would have spend chasing that feeling. Thanks.

Corsair have done a great service by making such a high quality gaming headset. This is the most I've ever spent on a pair of headphones, by far, and I doubt I'd ever spend more than this. I did my research for almost a week before deciding on getting these. Even tested out comparable models in Curries before making my choice. Boy was it the right choice. It's not just fantastic audio quality out of the headset, perfect for gaming, as well as really enjoying movies, but the mic is incredibly good too. I've had numerous compliments about how loud and clear my audio comes through over teamspeak and discord. If you're like me, you're used to hearing people with terrible mics, even though they paid an arm and a leg for them, where even if you turn them all the way up, they're still too quiet or too distorted. Or worse, their crappy mic picks up everything it shouldn't, from their typing, to their wife in the background, to the gameplay and voice comms, so you get terrible and distracting feedback loops that make you not want to play with them ever again. With the void pro, you can be assured nobody will get anything but audio perfection from you. Sadly the void pro can't fix their terrible mic, but maybe Corsair will figure something out for a future model. Some kind of "fix your friends crappy audio for them" option.

Brought these to replace my Vengeance 1500 after they broke - about 6 years old at the time, came back to Corsair as I loved my previous headset and I was not disappointed.Ok, so the fit and the volume seem to be the key talking points about these. The headset itself is super comfortable, easily usable for 5 hours straight. However, unlike most headsets the Void Pro doesn't 'squeeze' your head so if you were moving sharply then they will move but you would have to be trying hard to have them fall off.I've had no issue with the volume of these, maybe there was an issue with the early drivers no idea. One thing I will say is there is a volume control wheel on the back of the left ear.The wheel isn't labelled and adjusting it isn't reflected on the PC.E.g Twitch Vol 100%, Windows Vol 100% Void Pro Wheel 0%.Volume icon on desktop = 100% Audio output = 0%.So make sure it is turned up!The sound quality is amazing in my opinion, not the best I've ever heard but for the price you're paying you can't expect much more.Build quality seems good as well and I wouldn't think twice about buying them

Seems like a decent pair of headphones, bit of getting use to the way the headband adjusts but soon found a comfortable position for it.Sound isn't exactly mind blowing but its fine and better than any other headphones I've bought (I've never bought anything over £30 before) but doesn't stand up to my sound bar, to be expected. Not sure if its my hearing that's going or that they don't actually go above 15Khz, last I checked I was sure I could still just about hear up to 20Khz but that was a while ago, seems like a significant cut off rather than a fade out however so I'm wondering about the 30khz claim there and if they're just relying on the fact that human hearing more often than not doesn't go above the 20khz limit...but who wants to hear sounds that high anyway, eh?Good enough for me, I don't feel ripped off and the surround sound works great, really has enhanced gaming for me and suddenly I realise why other gamers have such a better grasp of where things are in their virtual surroundings.

I bought these headphones for my 14 year old son to use while gaming and doing general techy things - I haven't really seen him since they arrived last month, partly due to lockdown and partly due to the fact he got the new XBox for Christmas - I assume the noise cancelling aspect is brilliant because I now have to contact him online to get his attention as he appears to be oblivious to me shouting from outside the door (due to online learning I am not allowed in the 'classroom' during the day).I am of the opinion that the earphones have enhanced his gaming experience hugely, to the point where he no longer needs any human contact in the home - I know he is alive as food does go missing from the fridge and I hear excitable yelling (including many profanities)from upstairs fairly frequently.I do miss him but I was lucky enough to adopt a rescue dog at the end of last year who stole my heart and is now my favourite son.

I ordered this as a replacement for my old headset which has been digging into my glasses frame for years now. I would like to point out the best things from this headset:1. Comfort - The headset is SO comfortable, the cushions are memory foam, very good quality fabric that bends around your head loosely but still keeping noise cancellation. The headset frame comes with swivels for the ear cushions so they rotate to adjust to your ear/head size.2. Sound quality - The sound quality is really good, comes with software to regulate settings to your liking. Also worth mentioning that at max volume the headset basically becomes a speaker - it reaches very loud whilst maintaining crisp sound.I use the headset for 10+ hours a day (with glasses on)and finally, my ears/head don't hurt! 100% worth purchase :)

Bought this around a week ago now. It's an excellent headset. This is the 2017 version with the upgraded mic.The headset itself is made from a high quality plastic and metal frame, around the ears and head band there is a perforated foam which s extremely comfortable.Located on the left ear cup is also a mute button for the mic.Sound quality is very good for the headset although it does lack some low end bass during scenes with explosions, in the detailed sections of audio is where the headset really stands out, YouCan here with pin point accuracy where an enemy is located.Overall I'm very pleased with the headset and would definitely recommend. If you appreciated this review then please click the helpful button,it allows us to keep reviewing products like this for you.

Great sound, nothing ground breaking but still really good (when using the iCue graphic equaliser). The 7.1 isn't amazing by any means either, but for a £55 headset it's more then decent. Loudness is very decent too, seen some comments about it not being loud. no issues at all here. The build quality is great and the headset feels sturdy while not being heavy. Comfort is great too, no issues with it being too slack on the head like others mention, you can wear this for hours on end without getting any discomfort.I like the volume control and mic mute button beign on the left ear, only little downside is on the Pro Surround headset there is no little light on the mic to tell you if it is mutedor not.Overall I think you'd be hard pushed to find a better headset for the price.

With icue you can make your spotify sound like your in a concert when turning your EQ's on and these headphones never struggle with ridiculously loud music. I've personally had these for 2 years now and bought them in currys one evening and the only issues that I had which is my own fault is that the wires were getting tangled and breaking due to me not looking after these headphones. Also never rage and smash these headphones as the extension bracket at the top of the headphones with break and you will have to slide them down without control. I'm having to get new ones but these are the best headphones corsair produce hands down. I will pickup another pair at christmas with some other corsair products too.Well done corsair!

Brilliant headset, well worth the money. Very light considering the size which led me to think they would be a bit fragile, but they are very well built. The ear cups are breathable fabric which make a lot of difference during long sessions, however the size of the headset means that it feels as if it could fall off your head at any moment (but it hasn't yet). The microphone is not the greatest I've ever used, but it is more than functional and is definately not a component that spoils the whole package. I also use a microphone wired to my sound card so this isn't any kind of issue, although admittedly I'm not an audiophile in any sense of the word. Overall, a worthy purchase!

Sturdiness and build quality are great, I used to buy Turtle Beaches but they broke often before even a year yet this one remains as strong as it was when I first got it.At first I thought the left audio played louder than the right but I've either gotten used to it or it was fixed in a driver update. Also from time to time there will be crackling when any audio is played (this can be fixed by simply setting your PC to sleep then awaking it). I've also had a friend with the same headset have his mic driver play up by disabling itself when trying to play games such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Headset is good.that being said I wouldnt get another one or any headset from Corsair agin due to the problems i had with this headset.- very loose on my head (maybe if you have a wide head or like wearing hats you will be fine)- the sound quality is okay for a gaming headset- the shape isnt very comfortable and hurst my ears a little bit at times- the quality of the heaset feels cheap and not very sterdy-the mic arm is very stiff and can only be set in one position-mic is good and clear but arm makes me not want to use itHope this lil review helps with your purchase.

I was extremely please with this set, as it was my first purchase of a gaming headset. Sound quality is brilliant. Plug and play, comes with a USB adapter which is required to use the ICUE software stuff. Be aware thought you dont require this software to make these headphones function. There is a bug with the latest ICUE (iCUESetup_3.28.75_release.msi) software that if you are streaming and whats to record it wont record desktop audio. Simply uninstall ICUE and it will be fixed. Hopefully Corsair will have a fix in there new version. Would recommend to friends and family.
