Had this over a year now so time for a review!i use it mostly to play FF14 and its so great with the 12 side buttons, once you map them all your skills are a thumb press away! It can be a bit tricky to set up as the instructions aren't clear but there is a few guides around on tinternet to help you out.I'm quite small with small hands so the adjustable side keypad is fantastic to customize for the size of your hand other mmo mouse i've found it difficult to reach all the keys on the pad but i think this would suit any size hand large or small due to the adjuster.I did have a seprate mouse for FPS like overwatch, counter strike etc but now I always just use this one for those games too with a different profile instead of switching all the time so it's not just good for mmo'sIts lasted a lot longer than super expensive razer mice that break after a few months. As a pretty hardcore pc gamer who has used a lot of different peripherals over 20years i'd definitely recommend this as it's by far one of the best i have ever

The mouse is brilliant in nearly every way. The 12 buttons on the side are comfortable and sturdy to use, the mouse shape is great for my decently sized hands, feels well manufactured except for the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel is ridiculously cheap and tacky. And no it is not just a faulty mouse. All the scimitar scroll wheels are on a tiny plastic rod that constantly feels stuck during a certain point on its rotation. It also causes you to scroll slightly faster when playing which may end up jumping from slot 1 - 3 for example in a game. I have only been using for a week, and on the first day noticed the awful scroll wheel. I did some research immediately and soon realised that this is an issue with all the scimitar mice.I am really disappointed as I had saved up for a decent amount of time to afford a new MMO mouse and now am going to have to find a different mouse to use instead as this scroll wheel issue makes the mouse a complete and utter ball-ache to use.

I've used 100's of different mice over the years, not all of them gaming mice. This is a bit weird in the hand for the first couple of days, but a good few hours of extended use will have it feeling natural. The sensor is amazing, I've been playing about on different surfaces and the feel of the mouse remains the same thanks to the large sliders. You are best having a play in the software, out of the box it felt very off and strange, the X,Y speed was either too fast or too slow. after some tweaking it's perfect. The customizable functions were a LOT more than I was expecting. And very happy that the side buttons are adjustable.I use multiple machines and am really surprised with the portable profile function, this now means I'm choosing to move this mouse to the machine I'm working on rather than using a standard mouse that's already plugged in.All in all, wary of the issues others have reported, but thoroughly pleased with this mouse.

The mouse layout itself is fantastic, but I wish they wouldn't use that matte coating and that they would remove the rubber grip.It took 4 or 5 years, but the rubber grip on mine became really goopy (It started to melt. My guess is that the trace amounts of oil on your fingers get into the rubber and gradually break it down.) and the matte finish itself also gets gunky and its so difficult to clean.I recently "discovered" that you can remove the matte finish with IPA. I thought the rubber could use a good scrub, and ended up taking the matte finish off (partially) by mistake. There's nice, shiny, easy to clean plastic underneath so if your starts to feel sticky as mine did,it might be worth giving it a try.I accidentally damaged mine in other ways, but I like the mouse enough that I'm buying another. Just keep IPA away from it and try to keep it clean.I do wish that there was a model without matte.

As an obsessed player of a MMO this mouse is a godsend. The adjustable buttons make it perfect for someone with larger hands like myself. The smoothness of the scroll wheel is just right, other mice have given me blisters from the scroll wheel. In truth i would love to give this mouse 5 stars but i can't.I'm now on my second and it has just failed in the same way the previous one did, the cable. I must add at this point that i play on a laptop so that will make the problem worse. The strain relief on the USB plug is just too rigid putting all the strain on where the cable meets the plug, and as i said before this is where both mice have failed, there's now a visible kink in the cable right against the plug on both and the way that wiggling the cable to just the right position makes me believe the cable has broken at this point. In short the best mouse I've ever owned, let down by a poor designed plug

My Razer Naga has been on its last legs for a while, and thought I'd make the switch as a couple of friends have bought this mouse, and my keyboard was already Corsair so why not.I have to say, the change is REALLY nice, it's a great fit and shape, it looks very pretty, and it's got that certain quality feel.To the people crying about the iCUE software, I don't get it honestly. It's super simple to use, and even if you can't work it out you just google it..take like 15 seconds. You can macro the binds on the mouse just like you can in Razer synapse, which can make for some really clever keybinds.I would highly recommend. If you're not a Luddite , you can work out how to use the software. They're a bit pricey, but you're usually the market lead for a reason.

My previous mouse was a Razer Naga Trinity on which the right and left butons startet giving up, so i have decide to buy somenthing new and landed on the Corsair Scimitar ELITE RGB as i was intersted in the 12 side buttons.I currently find the Scimitar more confortable to hold in my palm than the Naga. The Corsair software is not as intuitive to use as the Razer one is so I needed to hit some tutorials for it.The side buttons are a bit differently placed and took a while to get used to mostly because button 1 is a bit too low, but the fact that you can move the plate does add to the confort. All in all I find it more confortable to use than the Razer one which makes it worth getting over thesmall issues it has.

Wasn't sure if I was going to like this coming from a Logitech G600 that finally died after years of use but I love this! Despite people saying the software is rubbish and over-complicated I had no issues with it, was able to create RGB profiles easily and reassign the keys to my liking with no issue! I love the customisation of the side keys, able to put them where I prefer them to be and the clicking of both mouse buttons and side keys are very responsive and satisfying. The colours are bright and the mouse feels great and fits my hand perfectly. I'm hoping this will last me as long as my G600. So far I'm in love with this mouse, and recommend it to all!

I used to have the M65 corsair mouse for 3 years which was showing signs of wear, so I decided to get a little upgrade...This mouse is top notch in terms of build quality. iCUE's customzation software is pretty great, too. The buttons are easy to reach and after a month I have already got into the habbit.NOTE: If you do happen to buy this product, don't delete the default profile (the one with the SD card icon)I bought a second one of these for my setup at my workplace.iCUE software is great now, I use it to control my RGB RAM and RGB keyboard.

It's a BIG and comfy mouse, no problem with that, it's just that if you want to use the mouse for any sort of precision related games (FPS games etc), the mouse is just too big unless you have the hands of a giant (I have relatively large hands but not massive ones) the mouse sensor is great, the 12 button side pad has a good amount of movement, but if it was able to go a tad further up the mouse, it would've went a long way. All the buttons feel clicky and strong although the side buttons rock around a lot.

I am loving this mouse, 3 months in.Coming from a razer NAGA, wasn't too sure about the feel of it at first. But just change it using the easy sliding feature which is a great thing.Lights are jazz babyall of them - The base yellow and the RGB lightshow which never sits on one configuration (at least out of the box).Brilliant Mouse all round and just love the middle buttons that let you either change through dpi presets quickly or mouse number buttons mode.Aye you cant fault this mouse! Great buy.

Love this mouse. Gone through three Naga and two of the Logitech MMO ones before trying this. So far this has lasted much longer than all of those ever did. Much more comfortable than the Naga, about the same as the Logitech. The software to manage the mouse is also high-quality. Didn't use it much (I installed it, changed some things, saved the changes to the mouse's storage and then uninstalled) but it looked more feature-packed than Razer and Logitech's offering, for those that use that sort of thing.

I purchased the identical looking earlier version of this, unfortunately it had a double click issue and was returned, but the actual 'feel' of the mouse was fab, and now it even has onboard memory, so your profiles are saved to the mouse. If I hadn't already bought the Asus Spatha, I would have bought this in a heartbeat, although i'd find it hard to give up the wireless ability of the Spatha now. A wireless version of this would convince me to buy one again tbh.

Really good mouse and easy to use software, adjustable side buttons was a great addition. Only problem with the mouse is the software is very glitchy. On bootup of computer it will crash, and you are unable to close it with exception for in task manager. It also fails to start sometimes to close down and re open a few times. But the overall mouse got a 4 out of 5 because beside the glitches and issues, for gaming itself its one of my favorites.

This is an epic mouse for gaming on the PC.Never used a mouse with so many buttons before and was unsure how I would get on with it but it is effortless once you get going. The only downside I would say is when switching between games you need to manually reconfigure all those buttons which does take at least 15-30 minutes each time. Not found out how to save button presets as yet, not sure it is an option but it should be!
