Being left-handed, I have a difficult time finding a sensible gaming mouse (esp since the Razer DeathAdder left-handed version was discontinued). The Corsair is a good replacement, you can enable left-handed mode by clicking and holding the left forward and left backward buttons for 5 seconds, the DPI indicator will flash 3 times, then you're good to go.It's slightly bigger than the deathadder, so it took some time to get used to it, but after that it's good. A niggle is that it sometimes doesn't power on with the PC and you have to unplug and plug back in to get it to work. It's a known issue apparently and nothing to do with your PC.Response time is good and you can change DPI settings on the fly with the button under the mouse wheel. Now,if you want to do things such as change colours and colour modes with iCue (the corresponding software), you'll be a bit disappointed. None of the colour settings are stored on the mouse memory (it's a PRO version, so this option is given). They are only stored on the iCUE profile. Tried a number of times unsuccessfully, so eventually simply uninstalled the software and stayed with the colours pulsating and changing all the time. I really wanted to disable the lights as not a fan of RGB at all, but given that the options are not saved on mouse and ONLY work when the iCUE application is running, there's not much point. You will probably say, why not just let the application run? Because it's taking some time to load when Windows starts, and sometimes doesn't even recognise the mouse, even after flushing with the latest firmware, and you have to unplug to get the software working...Overall:Great mouse, bad software implementation.

I'm not one for writing reviews but after using the corsair sabre i had to. I am a huge Corsair fan and their great quality products for a really decent price. i have recently started changing my set up and after using a much older corsair mouse with no programmable buttons i needed a change especially for gaming. The 4 extra buttons is perfect for fps games and gaming in general as you dont need to set them up through iCUE for them to work in game you just change the controls in game which for me, an avid fan of R6 siege is perfect.I have big hands and i mean big, and for me this is a perfect size as i can still hold the mouse comfortably but it is much easier to perform more precise movements and flicks, especially with the easy to use DPI settings and button. As for the build, its lightweight but comfortably so, as in you don't have to overcompensate at all. The clicks are crisp and satisfying and just feel nice in general. The shape of the mouse provides a thumb and little finger rest which makes it all the comfier for long periods of use. The mouse also has a braided cable which gives it a nice clean touch but also a much longer lasting cable without the worry of damage through snags. The 4 zone lighting is also perfect as you can customise just about anything pattern and colour wise very simply.Overall I think this is perfect for gamers, as well as people who do just spend long periods of time at their desk, i cannot recommend this enough.

Its rare that I will give anything full 5 Stars across the board, but this mouse get 5 stars on Gaming, Ergonomics, and accuracy, I'm a man who likes to play Sim racing mostly and FPS games and that's where this mouse shines, having the ability to change the DPI on the fly is a must have, and its all there right at your finger tips. To be precise you picking nose finger tip, Also the DPI switch is colour coded so you know just by looking at the mouse if its in 1500, 3000 or 400 DPI. You can set the DPI colours to whatever you want in iCUE software, So one second you can be in heat of battle and possibly need anything from 1500 DPI to say 3000 DPI for them fast moves to take down the enemy, then your in a situation where stealth is key and you need slow movement like a Sniper would, Just click it down to 400 DPI and take aim through the scope knowing you can take your time and have no sudden movement then take the shot, then back to 1500 DPI and make your escape. Also it fits like a clove in your hand with that nice soft touch feel surface its not going to slip out of your hands, It glides nicely over mouse mats soft or hard, I use the Corsair MM800 Polaris mouse mat that has a hard surface and you wouldn't know it. Great gamers mouse and a good price and the weight for me is just right.

Absolutely fantastic! The software isn't as simple to use as my old VicTsing mouse however it does have a lot more to offer in terms of comfort and design.Good points:- Very comfortable- Brilliant design and very sleek- Software has a lot of capabilities, although is a bit of a learning curve- Cable is reinforced so it will not break very easily(not your every day cable)- Nearly every button is programmableBad points:I only have a couple of bad points for this.- RGB colours, they are not as accurate as i'd like. The software will display that the mouse is illuminating white, where as the mouse itself is illuminating blue. I found a light/pale pink = a warm white.- Button compatibility: i have discovered that not all buttons are compatible with games.I think this can be tweaked with a future firmware updateHowever it means at the moment that 1-2 buttons cannot be used in a lot of games. I have personally got around this somewhat by assigning thebuttons different but useful things such as macros or DPI adjustment (sniper key). What I haven't tried yet:I haven't tried testing this on Linux yet however I will be doing just that in the future.Overall this mouse is near perfect and I highly recommend it!

This is after about a week or two of use.During this time, I can seriously never see myself going back to cheap, crappy mouses ever again. Despite the generous price tag, this mouse definitely feels £70 more than it's worth. Sporting the same optical sensor as the Razer Deathadder, the tracking on this mouse is simply phenomenal. The texture of the material is a nice cross between soft and grippy - it weighs a nice amount too. Considerably heavier than office mouses but light enough to move around with ease. This mouse has 8 buttons. While I thought that the button beneath the mouse wheel was for DPI adjustments (which it has up to 5 levels up to 10K DPI), this is actually just a spare button that the mouse has which, with the help of Corsair's utility engine, can be assigned to macros - much like any button on the mouse. The RGB lighting leaves very little to be desired, also. I'm glad that Corsair got rid of the non-changeable yellow parts of the mouse as seen on revision 1.The bottom line is that this mouse easily compares to Logitech's mouses that were made in 2014 with a price tag of £90 and up. This even compares to Razer's highly esteemed mouses.

Bought this mouse as a replacement for my old Zalman gaming mouse. Does everything i need from a gaming mouse in terms of adjustable DPI and a couple of programmable macro buttons with the added bonus of RGB. All this can be done via the Utility Engine software. The weight of the mouse is about right for me and the hand position is also nice now that I have got used to it. It took about a week for me to adjust. My only main issue I have had is randomly upon boot the mouse doesn't always handshake meaning I have to simply unplug and plug it back in quickly for it to work again. This maybe a bit of an inconvenience for some people who don't have very accessible access to their rear USB ports.Though this issue may well be isolated to my mouse in particular.Good:-Nice grip and glides well-Fully programmable buttons + RGB-Adjustable DPI modes-Suitable weight for most usersBad:-Fixed weight-Connection issue on boot, meaning it needs to be unplugged and plugged back into the PC (though could be an isolated issue)

This was bought as a replacement for my previous TeckNet Wireless Gaming Mouse to go with my Corsair K30 keyboard. The size is perfect for my 'Medium' hands and I use it for everything. The tracking is good along with the wide range of DPI options and the macro buttons are useful and easy to program from inside the software. The software is responsive and has never crashed on me but I am unable to transfer my custom lighting effects onto the mouse even though this is advertised. After clicking to transfer is just does nothing. This wouldn't be a problem if I used Windows for everything but I don't. I am a heavy Mac user although I have a Boot Camp partition for these exact reasons. While the software has no Mac version the mouse stills works as well as it can on a Mac (except for Mac's scroll wheel acceleration). Overall, the RGBs are brilliant and just like any mouse it does the job with "flying colours" (ha ha)

I've bought this mouse 2 years ago, its been very good from the beginning, though I've always experienced something very strange about it.Sometimes when using it, the cursor jumps to top-right corner of the screen, a terrible thing to happen when you're playing an FPS game, although it is kinda rare (I experience it like once every ~2 hours?). After doing some research on this matter, I found out that it's apparently a hardware fault, didn't find how to fix it or how to avoid it.It has a chance to stop working when booting up the PC, but there's no issue when you unplug it and plug it back it.The LEDs on it are good, though not many options. It's heavy for a mouse, but I got used to it and now I prefer it to be heavy.I'm still trying to figure out what does the button in the middle of the mouse actually does...Overall, if it didn't jump like it currently does, I would buy it again!

I love this mouse. Very comfortable to grip and it is reliable enough to last me a decent amount of time. Usually when I manage to go through technology I'll buy a different one as the replacement but I liked this mouse so much the first time I thought I'd get another. The old one lasted me long enough that I wasn't really too upset when it broke. 4 stars for durability though because it doesn't feel like it could take too much of a beating for the gamers who like to take their rage out on their equipment. For me though, it is perfect. I love being able to set the lighting as I desire. Haven't worked out a use for that middle button yet though. Most games don't seem to support it and when I tried to set up a macro which is activated by that button, it didn't work.Overall though, love it. I'll probably buy another one when the time comes.

This mouse is great I use it mainly for gaming(which is what it is for) and I use a very high dpi which allows for fluid movements in the game. The RBG lights are great to add to your set up however if they distract you, you can easily turn them off. There are 5 different macro keys which you can use and customise very easily, two which are very useful for changing your dpi in-game when playing an fps game and switching from an Assault Rifle class to a Sniper class. The other two are also amazingly helpful as I use them for my in-game chat and also to switch to my last weapon. The textured rubber grip is so handy for grip and I don't think I will ever buy a mouse without grip again. To summarisethis is a great mouse and you definitely get your money for value with this mouse.

This is the second of this mouse I've had, the first being back in Corsair's 'Tramp Stamp' era with the dodgy Corsair Gaming logo that everybody hated... I wasn't as nice as the standard Corsair sails but I didn't mind it. Have to say though, sitting it next to this model and this wins hand down. Most of that was irrelevant I know but yeah it's a great mouse, very light but doesn't feel so light as to feel cheap, remains with Corsairs quality and feels lovely, I've got reasonably big palms, nothing too out of the ordinary but this mouse is a perfect width and all in all I don't want to over hype it because it's not anything exceptional it's just perfect for me.Has some nice programmable keysbut not too many as you can often mis-click with tonnes of macros...

Bought the corsair m55 pro in white because i was looking for a gaming mouse to use as I'm left-handed. Unfortunately there aren't many left handed mice out there from the big brands so I went with this ambidextrous one and I'm pleased I did. It is fairly light weight (but not light enough to feel cheap), i really like the rubber grips on the sides despite some reviews saying that they feel cheap. The buttons in both sides are useful as i use them to key bind in games (league of legends) - please note though that you have to install Corsair's ICue software and enable the buttons on the right hand side (if your left handed).Overall I would definitely recommend this mouse if you're left handedand you don't want to spend lots on an expensive mouse.

I love this mouse. Unlike some other users I have had no durability problems after three years of practically everyday use. If I had reviewed when I first purchased it I probably had given it 4 stars as I experienced problems with it not being recognised upon booting Windows and had to unplug and replug it in to solve that. However the many updates to the excellent iCUE software have ironed out any such problems. Incredibly customisable and it is a perfect companion to my Strafe keyboard (the latest model). Highly recommended. Really need to read the iCUE online manual to figure out how to get macros to work. But that's just been laziness on my part.

Needed a new mouse after my old Microsoft Intellimouse finally hit the dust after many years of service.I don't consider myself a hard core gamer either but I thought it would go well with my Corsair Strafe keyboardWhen I first plugged it in, I immediately needed to upgrade firmware after which everything was fine. Response times, colours on mouse (even though I switched it to a static colour and had done with it), etcMouse feels a little small in my big hand compared to the old Intellimouse but it feels good to use.Do like the DPI speed button. Have to dial it back sometimes as it's a little too much for me!

This is an amazing mouse.Pros:•Well placed buttons for macros and DPI adjustment.•RGB lighting is bright and clear•The Omron switches feel well balanced and highly responsive.Cons:•The Corsair software for tuning and lighting adjustment is overly complicated•Not as long as I'd like, but I have large hands and use a palm grip. Your experience may vary.Overall, an amazing mouse. The sensor tracks perfectly on my mouse mat, and has no noticeable acceleration. I'd recommend this to anyone.
