I’ve personally only ever used wired gaming mice as I wasn’t a big fan of wireless devices but after using this Ironclaw mouse I think I may have changed my mind. Its such a nice mouse to hold and is made for people with larger hands which is perfect for me. I could easily use it for hours at a time without my hand aching its that comfortable. It looks great and the feet on it makes sure it glides with ease. The software it comes with is a bit bloaty, but it does provide a lot of customisation and options. You can change just about everything to do with the mouse including the lighting and what all the buttons do. Using the software, I calibrated the mouse to my gaming surface,it was precise before but after calibrating it became even better so bear this in mind if it’s not performing great on your surface. You can connect the mouse in 3 different ways; wireless, wired, or Bluetooth, I’ve used the wireless and wired option and they both work great, I couldn’t tell any difference between them with no detectable lag when using the wireless option. The battery can last for up to two days, but I’ve been charging it everyday as I’m a heavy user, it seems to charge up relatively quickly which is great, and you can still use it while charging.Performance is excellent, I’ve used it to play Battlefield V, Destiny 2 and COD and it worked perfectly every time, if anything I did better than usual since switching to this mouse, I used a G502 before and this honestly feels better in every way. The only area I feel this mouse falls short in is the scroll wheel. It just doesn’t feel great to use and it has very little feedback when your trying to be precise. A good example is when switching weapons in games you find yourself scrolling the wheel to far which makes it hard to be accurate when scrolling through weapons. I feel it should give more feedback and spins way too fast, a more ratchet like click would be nice, don’t get me wrong it works great for scrolling through webpages but as it’s a gaming mouse I do expect better.I was expecting it to be heavy but its relatively lightweight which helps prevent fatigue. The rubber grips on the sides are great and work really well, I can’t praise how comfortable this mouse is anymore than I have. You get a decent size braided USB cable with it for charging or to use the mouse wired. The lighting effects look great and are fully customisable. I love the added lights on the front of it and inside the scroll wheel, it’s a nice touch! The extra buttons on the side and top are located very well and give good feedback when pressed, in fact all the buttons on it have great feedback including the main two.Overall, I am a huge fan of this mouse and it has now become my new favourite, there’s so much good to say about it and for the first time in over 15 years I’m happy to use a wireless mouse. Its such a shame the mouse wheel lets it down, I really wish it gave a bit more feedback so you could be more precise with it. If it wasn’t for this, I would have easily given it 5 stars. I highly recommend this mouse and I hope Corsair will continue to make excellent products like this in the future!

ContentsIt has the mouse, dongle, adapter, usb cable, and instructions. The adapter means that you can use the cable to extend the wireles receiver from your pc up onto the desk if you want to. You can then unplug it again for charging.General FeelJust as fast and smooth as the G703 I normally use. I find I have much more control and the mouse-pointer is easier to direct. The mouse has rubberised grips on both sides. The top of the mouse isn't just plastic either and has a subtle rubberised quality to it as well.ConnectivityBluetooth and dongle. There is a selector on the bottom of the mouse to move between the settings.ButtonsMore buttons then I've ever seen on a mouse. 3 for thumb,3 for index finger, clickable wheel for middle finger + 3. The wheel looks like a car tyre and has a good grip to it as well. The click on it is strong but not clunky. It has more buttons than the wired version as well. The "OMRON" buttons are rated to last for 15 million clicks.LightingThe lighting is shown on the icon, then there are 3 lights on the left side of the mouse. There is separate lighting for the mouse wheel which also shines out of the front of the mouse.Build QualityBuild quality is excellent and is almost as good as Logitech's G703/903, but the seams between the plastic are not quite as good. The main keys have a solid but easy click to them. The function keys are more robust and harder to click, there is a small amount of play in the keys which could have been eliminated but it's a trivial matter.SoftwareThe IQ software is needed to switch off the lighting and control the functions as you would expect. You can use the mouse without it but the lighting will strobe between colours which you may not like.EnvironmentAlmost all the packaging is recyclable cardboard and plastic and it's not massively too big for the item either.ConclusionIf you need a highly customizable mouse with multiple functions for gaming then this is the one. Many other gaming mice only have a DPI button any don't have any of the additional function keys this one has. I think it's very well designed, strong, strong-grip, with absolutely loads of buttons.

The great thing about this mouse is the fact it gives me cordless freedom without sacrificing the input lag, as it can be seen in some of the YouTube reviews, which is excellent for competitive gaming as traditionally wireless mice were subpar to wired ones. I was waiting for the wireless mice to get this performance boost as I used them regardless because to me the annoyance of the cable was too great to ignore during gaming. This mouse feels good in the hand because of the ergonomic design and soft-touch plastic with rubber grips on the sides. However, for me personally, the mouse is slightly too big for my hands and the left and right-click buttons are separated too much for my liking. The build quality is very good because the mouse is sturdy, the optical sensor is precise even more so on a gaming mousepad, the buttons are tactile and clicky with the exception of the side thumb buttons which are mushy yet still clicky. RGB is a must in 2019 and this mouse does deliver on it with its three lighting zones. Weight is decent at 130 grams. The cable is braided to last longer, but it is too firm if you game in corded mode and I don't like that they opted for the micro USB connector. The only thing I dislike about this mouse is the scroll wheel and middle mouse button, they feel inconsistent and awkward and I have read other reviews where it failed them after a few weeks to months of use which is a shame for such a pricey gaming mouse. I will update the review in case I experience the same thing. The iCue app is excellent I love its simplicity and ease of use, however, this mouse doesn't have programmable memory so if you want to use customizable profiles yo have to use the same app where the profiles were created. I own several Corsair products and they all work flawlessly so I am not sure where this one fits in regards to my expectations.Overall, this is a decent mouse but I wouldn't recommend it as there are better mice out there for the same price, I own another Corsair mouse namely Dark Core RGB SE and I just love it which can be bought for a similar price to this one on a deal.

At this moment I am really envious of right handed people. I have been privileged to evaluate a number of mice in recent months and I really like this one out of the selection in the photo. The Corsair is definitely for a large, right handed person so I will be gifting this to my adult son who is an avid gamer. What I like about this mouse is its weight and I can see the advantages of moulding the mouse to the shape of the hand. The mouse has precision movement and works well even with smaller mouse pads like the one I am using. I you like your mouse to do the flashy, lighty-thingy then you will not be disappointed as it has dynamic RGB lighting that gives a great light show and is a joy to just sit and watch.I am using Windows 10 and the system had no issues in detecting the 2.4Ghz dongle nor the option to connect via Bluetooth. This is an area I normally have 'conflicts' with on my machine but this mouse had no such issues. Wired connectivity is also provided in the form of a standard male USB to micro braided flexible lead and a micro to standard, female adapter all supplied with the mouse. The braided lead is soft and offers very little drag. Because I am evaluating with the wrong hand ,there are plenty of (customisable) buttons that are probably the best I have come across. They are large and chunky and positive but for me the just get in the way and I inadvertently click on them. I would purchase a left handed one of these in a heartbeat, sadly they are not available perhaps not a big enough market? However for the rest of you out there I would strongly recommend you give this a try.

After a long search, I thought this mouse was the one, however a few tiny things stop it from being so.- The size is great, perfect for palm grip. I play with a relaxed palm/claw and it worked well. 19x10 hands.- iCue worked well to customize side buttons for games.- Nice side grips and thumb rest.- Nice RGB options (I turned off for better baterry life).- USB, dongle or bluetooth connection options make the mouse very flexible- The supplied usb cable is super stiff. I know this is a wireless mouse, but when using the cable forcharging you might as well not use the mouse.- The scroll wheel isn't good, I have a bad feeling about it when using. It just feels weak, and knowing many peopleonline have posted issues of their scroll wheel breaking after a few months is worrying.- The entire mouse body creaks when squeezing. It's feels solid (perhaps down the weight) and cheap at the same time.- At 130G the mouse is noticeably heavy to use. Coming from a 100G mouse previous I can feel the difference; andit does start to become an issue after extended use. I'm not pro gamer, but I think lighter overall would be moreenjoyable. It's fine for every day PC use or casual games but when you play something a little faster it's a problem for me.- One of the side buttons (called sniper most commonly (above the two side buttons)) is in such an odd position is becomes basically useless in game.I could look past some of the "cons" however the extra weight, and worries over the scroll wheel i've decided to continue my mouse search!

The Ironclaw is a very nice looking mouse with various RGB lights placed around in different areas for some extra style. This mouse is a very versatile as it can be used both wired and wireless, with the latter having two options: Bluetooth or 2.4GHz with the use of the included compact sized dongle. Note there is no carry pouch/case to store your dongle, nor is there a slot to place it within the mouse (to my knowledge), so ensure you keep it safe. The contents are as follows (wireless version):• Ironclaw mouse.• USB dongle.• USB Cable adaptor.• Branded and braided USB cable.• Instruction manual.Whilst I did find the mouse comfortable to handle, especially with the nicely placed grip around it,I personally felt it was a bit too bulky for my liking, however that is down to personal preference rather than a design flaw. There are a variety of buttons that can be mapped and I felt that they were easy to reach but not easy enough accidentally press. The scroll-wheel is a click rotation rather than free-movement and cannot be toggled for those who want to know. All the customisable buttons can be mapped using Corsairs 'iCUE' software, as can the colours and sensitivity be adjusted; I'm not a huge fan of this software as I much prefer Logitech's 'G-Hub', though it is more than usable. As for the sensitivity, it's smooth like butter and with a broad range of DPI sensitivities, it covers what I require and more.Overall, it's a decent enough mouse, it's just the size isn't quite right for me.

So let me start this off by saying I am either extremely lucky or people are overly aggressive with their mice, as my experience does not tally up with the majority here, but there are a few things to be aware of.As far as build quality goes, I have had absolutely no issues with my mouse. The mounting of the scroll wheel is intact and I use it daily. Those that have had issues with the scroll wheel - I wonder if they are using it as a middle click. Looking at the mechanism I’d say there is some fragility there, but controlled presses haven’t presented an issue and for scrolling it is smooth, no grinds.Mouse is large (the USP for my purchase) as not many mice cater for my hand size. It’s ergonomic and comfortable in both wrap around and claw hybrid hand positions. Now, the quirky stuff. You need iCue to take full advantage of this mouse. If it isn’t installed then you will not have full functionality - if it isn’t running you lose some functionality such as DPI profiles and lighting.Corsair also released a firmware with an issue for this mouse, so do not update as you will have desynchronise issues. This can be reversed by installing an older version of iCue if you have inadvertently updated and are now experiencing issues.Battery life is OK. It’s not superb but it isn’t awful either.Overall, very satisfied with my Ironclaw. I’ve had more broken Logitech mice than I have for Corsair, but each persons experience will differ.

This is a great mouse if you have quite big hands. I was struggling to find a mouse which was comfortable with long periods considering my hands are fairly large, and this one fits the bill. I'm not overly keen on RGB so its nice to see the mouse doesn't go overboard with it.It has a wide selection of DPI options but my only real gripe with it is there is one button you cannot re-map. Underneath the scroll wheel there are two buttons, the top one is the profile button which switches between the 3 on board profiles you can set up.It is NOT possible to re-map this one button to something else. So i found I was inadvertently hitting this button and it was switching to another mode with a different DPI setting mid-game.The way around this for me was to delete all other profiles leaving just the one (I don't need 3 profiles anyway) but it does mean that this feature of the mouse is then crippled. With the other profiles deleted, this button then is non functional.Poor design from Corsair, you should be able to choose to remap this button if you wish, considering you can re-map all the others.

This has a good build quality and is well-balanced, so that it feels very comfortable in the hand – very important when pulling a long gaming session. The buttons are perfect, offering little resistance but giving a positive click when pressed. The LED lighting mapping to the buttons is very good, and you can customise it to your taste. The button mapping is equally impressive and can be used for macros, helping to give you the edge over opponents. The USB cable is good quality, which pleased me as this is an aspect which suppliers often skimp on.It performs very accurately as long as it’s on a proper mouse map or a flush surface; if not, the mouse and pointer can jitter a bit. Still, you could say this of other good-quality gaming mice – they need a decent surface to fully exploit their accuracy. The software is a bit awkward to use because there isn’t an intuitive interface, but it’s easy once you get used to it.A good mouse, but because of the cost and the somewhat clunky software it doesn’t quite rate five stars. A pity really, as in play it’s really good.

I bought this mouse on a Daily Deal for £54.99, good value, good start. I have been trying to get a good wireless mouse for general use and for gaming, I've tried the Dark Core RGB SE (2 of them) and a Logitech G903 all of which I returned with faults. I was a bit reluctant to try again, but at the deal price and with Amazons excellent returns policy, I thought that I would give it a go. I'm glad that I did.It looks good, it feels good and it works well. It fits my hand nicely, I can reach all the buttons and the weight is good (for me). Even with the RGB lighting on, the battery lasts several days (as long as I remember to switch it off when I'm not using it) and it's ok to use when wired (the mouse, not me). I do miss the wireless charging of the Dark Core, but life is full of little disappointments. It works well with iCue, which I have open all the time, as I have a Corsair AIO cooler, a K95 keyboard, an M65 RGB Elite and an MM800 Polaris mouse mat.

This has a lot of gaming features and brilliant wireless connection but it is on the large side for me. That meant it didn't sit right in the palm and I was less than keen on the aggressive textured sides. Yes this did mean it wasn't going to slip out of my grasp but it felt too much when holding it.The DPI range is good and it tracks really well (on a Corsair RGB hard mouse mat). There are plenty of buttons to configure for gaming and they are super useful. Some of the buttons feel like you have to press quite hard for them to activate though. The RGB on the logo is nice but the middle mouse button light can be barely seen on the mouse mat. There is also a bluetooth connection available which I would not recommend for any gaming as it became jerky in game,so not so good. Its just the size hindering it I have medium sized hands and would like to see a smaller version of this mouse for it to become my daily driver.

The Pros : Snappy wireless speeds via 2.4GHz adapter or Bluetooth. Hand-pleasing shape for big hands. Highly configurable in the iCUE software enabling you to change the rgb, configure the surface your sensor is on and change up the polling rate and dpi.The Cons : strange RGB placement. Can't configure while using the Bluetooth connection. No wireless charging built in like their dark core special edition mouse. Very large in the hand which could affect smaller users. The Summary : Corsair's latest wireless gaming mouse, the Ironclaw RGB Wireless, is a little more practical than some of its top-end competitors in the market. It's a strong pick for big-handed users but it may be a struggle for smaller handed users and it would have been nice to see wireless charging built in also. The sensors are accurate and the wireless technology works great. You won’t be disappointed purchasing this gaming mouse.

This gaming mouse is built like a brick but with the aerodynamics of a jet. The cable is much more robust than normal and the optical sensor very responsive to any movement. Most importantly, it feels great in the hand and is ergonomically tuned so that everything is exactly where is should be for your fastest response. It has adjustable backlighting that you can set up in software and it is there that you can also programme the seven switches so that you can optimise it for the game you are playing. You can even set it up on the surface you are playing on!The scroll feature is incredible giving you the sense that you are totally in control of everything. This is a truly remarkable mouse that any gamer will be impressed with and it meets the ootpimum standards of today.I was terribly impressed with this mouse and am now using it exclusively!

I know this is my own fault for not reading the description closely enough, but if you're used to having middle mouse button tilt left and right, this is going to feel like a step down. From using the mouse it feels ergonomic and sturdy. I'm not going to mark it down as it doesn't actually claim to have mouse tilt left and right, I just kind of expected that as standard on a modern mouse. A little disappointed in that regard. Rebinding to the buttons underneath can add some old functionality back, but as the expense of a profile and DPI switch, which they are by default. I went from the Gigabyte MX8000 to this, if that's any useful context. I'm thinking I should have stuck with it.Nothing particularly wrong with the mouse, just the lack of that one extra convenient feature is a real shame.
