Firstly, you should know I am writing this review from good experience. I have had various headphones from various manufacturers. I had some Corsair H1500i's, and I loved their sound to weight balance. After those, I have had Roccat Kaves, Roccat Kave mk2's, Logitech G430's, and Hyper X Clouds. None of them matched up to the H1500i's. I have now found a replacement for them in these HS50 Pro's. The HS50's are a little heavier, but the bass reproduction is excellent. They are never uncomfortable or unwieldy. The ear cups are exactly as described on the box; plush. No other word for them. Lots of give and not sweaty. The cups themselves are deep and quite large which is great for one who was blessed with large ears that stick out.My ears don't get sore or squashed. The headband cushion is very nice too, and the band feels strong with plenty of adjustment. All of the headphones I have had so far have had an in line control of some sort for the volume or mic muting etc. The HS50's are on the left ear cup, and I am still getting used to them but it feels like a better place to put them already. The included mic is definitely an acceptable quality. I spoke to friends in Discord and they all said it was very clear but like all headphone mics it lacked bass. I have a deep voice, but I also have a Blue Yeti so I just use that. However, if you will be using the mic I can tell you that with the HS50 Pro's I got a mic sponge to cover the mic, and a splitter cable was included to split the cable in to separate mic and headphone cables to connect to your pc. This will save you an extra few currencies on a 3rd party spliiter cable like I had to buy when I bought Hyper X Clouds. As for the sound on these HS50's, they're really good. Very strong across a multitude of frequencies. If you're gaming, like I do in games like Warzone, GTA Online, Detroit: Become Human, DOOM, Wreckfest and Forza 7, then you can expect these headphones to keep up with no loss of detail in the sound. This is without any software to download, plug n play. Warzone gets very hectic at times, yet they never let me down with footsteps or doors opening. I recommend the 'Boost' setting in the audio mix options in Warzone. This will boost all frequencies and you will never miss a footstep again. Someone should tell Dr. Disrespect to swap his Turtle Beach's for some HS50's because he would never complain about audio ever again. If you will be listening to music with these headphones I am happy to report largely the same outcome. I am an eclectic, so my library consists of various different types of music to test them out with. The headphones are stunning. It does vary depending on the quality of the source you're listening to, of course, but they blew me away. I have yet to connect them to my Denon amplifier, but if the results of everything I tested so far are anything to go by, then they can only sound even better when connected to a "cleaner" source with music on disk at a higher bitrate. I am extremely happy with the HS50 Pro's. They are lovely to look at, lovely to wear, and they sound lovely too. Well worth the price and I recommend them.

The headset is Jet black with the only colour change being on the Corsair logo on each earcup and the metal sliver headband adjustment. There are no lights on this headset so it won't stand out. These are a full earcup design with decent isolation. The earcups have very little rotation through which means you can’t fold them flat when wearing them around your neck or for travelling to LAN parties. This rotation limitation also restricts the amount you can adjust these to fit your ears. It would have been nice to have more adjustment here. The headband is covered in a black mesh has plenty of size increase/decrease adjustment, and it has a decent amount of padded, allowing long periods of wear where I didn’t experience any discomfort. Each earpad also has ample of foam and is covered in the black mesh which I prefer of leather or faux leather as this can make my ear sweat. No such issues with these as that mesh works perfectly.Connectivity is provided by a 3.5mm single jack which is a shame as a USB connector would have been nice here. There is a splitter provided in the box to allow PC gamers to use the separate Mic and Audio jacks. They also work on Consoles so if you game on multiple devices you can use the same headset, which is nice. The microphone is average, but at this level the ability to remove it is awesome, and it has some nice flex/adjustment, but it is pretty quiet and tinny. It no worse than other headsets at this level but from Corsair I had hoped for some higher quality here. The cable is a decent length ensuing you are struggling to get the right distance, and it’s all rubber.Sound is good from these 50mm drivers, providing decent mids and treble with nice bass. I was able to easily identify footsteps at a decent range, which is a must for all FPS players and in music/videos, I had no issues.

I bought this headset after seeing a bunch of glowing reviews on the web, and knowing Corsair are a decent branch since I already have a keyboard and old headset of theirs. After ordering I check on here and see a bunch of 1-3* reviews, uncomfortable, build quality, crap software... Was worried.I can say after a few hours of constant use that I am so far impressed and don't get the hate this product is getting. It's been on my head for a few hours and it's more comfortable than any headset I've tried previously. I have larger-than-normal ears and it isn't crushing them like others tend to. Fits over the top of a HTC Vive as well, and seems secure on my head so shouldn't fall off.The sound quality is good.I'm no audiophile but for me it seems great. I'm sure £400 Bose are better, but for a £100 headset it seems to be decent. The software, iCue, is okay. There aren't a massive amount of configuration options for the headset but for someone like me who doesn't really care, it's fine. It's the same software their other products use so I didn't have to download anything new for this headset, but I imagine if you don't have it already you should download it. It likely has the drivers for this product or will acquire them. The range is good, I can go to the other end of a 3-bed semi detached before it starts breaking up.I haven't tried the mic yet so that remains to be tested but I am quite optimistic given how the rest is!My advice to any potential buyers is take the negative reviews with a grain of salt!

I bought these from Currys. I wanted steel series, thought they looked better, but their recharging cable cannot be replaced if broken. These are comfy enough for me. Even if I'm using all day to prepare YouTube videos. The battery lasted about 16 hours yesterday. Thats after they automatically turn off after no activity, which you can set a timer for. They feel sturdy enough. If you're the type of person who doesn't look after your equipment then that's your problem. They are quite loud, and probably noisy to anyone next to you who wants some peace. They are good for music but sometimes I had to turn the volume down for the sound to be less distorted, especially when listening to funeral doom bands like Evoken.Bass is there.Graphic eq in the corsair cue software is handy but I found myself just leaving it on the pure preset for everything. The surround sound for games is good. Wouldn't say it was mind blowing like a set of dedicated room speakers. To install you need WiFi. I realised that I couldn't connect because my pc was hard wired. Don't forget to remove any ethernet cable 1st. Don't think you have a bad pair. Then you need to pair the device you will find this bottom in the icue software under settings then click the headphone picture.I also bought corsair headphone stand. Headphones will recharge when pc has shut as long as you don't cut the plug power. If your rgb is glowing then your headphones are charging. There is a red light on the headset to confirm this.

I bought this to use when working from home so as to not be tied to my desk for long hours. It has allowed me to get way more steps by pacing round the lounge or garden and relief from sitting down for long periods.I think the manual volume control is a bit weak - I think that should be digital to control the PC, as should he mute IMO - I am not a gamer (children put an end to that a long time ago), so that may not be what gaming requires, but I often end up being told I am on mute as Teams/Slack are on mute and the headset isn't or vice versa. The audio prompt in the ear is reasonably clear when it does go on and off mute, but again I would like some visual feedback - I find myself pressing it a couple of times to confirm when I am on and off mute. Finally, the range is OK for me to wander around the garden up to about 10m from the PC on a desk next to the door, but it will cut out sometimes when I go to answer the door on the other side of the house, or just through a few doorways. Also, when it does cut out, the headset doesn't give you any indication that it has done so - it must know, so why it can't beep or something, I don't know - this is irritating if you are talking, it drops, then you have a few seconds before you realise that it has cut out and you need to go closer, or back through a doorway. I have improved this situation by putting the dongle on the end of a USB extension cable and raising it up and to the side to increase the coverage.

The headset came very nicely packaged, It was secure and tight in the box.On the headset itself, the ear cushions are made from a soft and padded sponge with a fabric cover, They are very comfortable but I feel they slightly rub with micro-movements over time. I prefer felt or a smooth leather instead as they don't rub as much. The headset size is adjustable so don't worry if you have a large or smaller head then normal as it will fit. The headset is made from sturdy, smooth metal, It's both light but feels tough, the build quality is excellent. The headset also supports a volume control slider on the side as well as a microphone mute button which makes it easier to completely mute the microphonewithout having to remove it.The microphone is adjustable and detachable there is also a dust-cover for when you don't want it attached. The microphone itself is very good, It's above average and will be more than enough for standard gameplay. The only thing I'd say is the fact the microphone doesn't have much sound foam to reduce background noise or loud letter noises such as "P", Saying any of these letters pushes lots of air into the microphone causing a loud influx of sound. To reduce this I recommend getting a post-audio-processor to reduce background noises.Overall, a good solid all-round excellent headset, it doesn't blow me away in any regard but does do most things a good headset should do to an excellent level of quality, I highly recommend it.

First off I would like to say these look great in my opinion.I thought that they may be too big for my head as a have a smaller head but they fitted great with a little fiddling with the headband length but are large enough I think for big heads also if you extend the headband. I also wear glasses and find they are quite comfortable with glasses. The cups go ALL the way around my ears and are very soft and comfortable.Like the detachable Mic. Not AMAZING Mic or anything but will get the job done and you have to take into consideration that these are wireless so Mic isn't going to be the best.Very easy to setup. Just put the usb into the PC and my PC recognised it in about a minute of waiting.Battery life DEFINITELY ISN'T 16 hours.I'd say about 10 hours which is still quite good but it DOES say 16hours.The reach of the connection is very good. Went all the way down the hallway into the other bedroom which is about 40-50ft away.Good sound quality. BUT when you turn the sound 90-100% up the is a stranfe hissing noise. But this doesn't bother me much as I never have my headphones that high or you would damage your ears. Stereo mode is great for watching videos/ listening to music. And the surround sound is great for knowing where footsteps and gunfire is coming from while playing games.Overall Great Headphones with a few minor issues stated above. Will be using them for quite a while.

This headset works very well, and does what it sets out to do. It's a budget gaming headset, and, for the money, is pretty good value. It's not aimed at hi-fi audio listeners, and if your primary interest is in audio fidelity, you'd be better off looking elsewhere. However, the sound quality is good for a headset in this price range. The microphone is pretty good too, and it can be detached, which isn't always the case in this price range. It's comfortable to wear, even for several hours, and that's important for this kind of product. A big plus is that the volume control is located on the left earpiece - headsets can often leave you searching for a switch in middle of the cable, and this is a much better solution.Overall, it's good value and a decent buy at the price. Its biggest problem, though, is probably its bigger brother, the Corsair HS50. At the time of writing, the HS50 is available on Amazon for only £5 more than this, but it has much better sound quality, feels more solidly built and is more comfortable to wear.If the price of this headset is at the limit of your budget, I'd say that it is a very good choice. It does what it needs to do very well, and you're unlikely to be disappointed. However, if you can spare an extra fiver, I reckon that the HS50 is worth the additional outlay, especially if you plan on using it to listen to music in a non-gaming setting.

This Corsair HS35 Stereo Gaming Headset is aimed at the more serious gamer. And the best thing is it can be used across all the latest know consoles and PC/laptops. Some of the platforms will require a 3.5 mm adaptor (not included in the pack). The sound quality is noticeably better over my conventional gaming headset, you are immersed in the game. The over-ear headsets are very comfortable, with plush memory foam and adjustable earcups. After hours of playing, your head and ears are as fresh as your first put the headsets on.The mic piece is removable and when is use it is very useful when playing multi-user games. I don't notice a difference from my conventional headset.I have noticed the quality with this headset,it is more premium than my other headset. There are on-ear volume and mute controls which lets you adjust on-the-fly without pulling you away from the game being played. There is no lag because you are plugging the headset directly into the PC, Xbox, PS4, switch or mobile device. It's better than having a Bluetooth headset as there is no need to charge the headset. And any serious gamer can be playing for hours on end. There are x4 colours available:BlueGreenRedBlack.Overall I'm very impressed with this 2019 Corsair HS35 Stereo Gaming Headset. They make some great products and this one proves they are still on their game.

I really, really like this headset.Build quality is super good and it looks really good! A subtle looking headset as opposed to looking like a scouter from Dragon Ball Z. Not that I wouldn't mind having one like that.Good Points:Build quality is top notchAdjustable sliders on both sides are great and lock into place wellEar cups are super soft and make a good seal around your ear without touching it, also have good angles of swivle to fit onto any head shapeEncountered zero wireless connectivity issues and next to no latencyMic is decent too, wish the arm was just slightly stiffer but having said that, it does hold position with no problem (no quality complaints from other players)Sound quality is super fine, crisp and clean sound productionControls are easily accessible and useableBattery life is decent too, I charge once every three ish days with around 3/4 hours gaming a dayNot so Good points:I feel as though they're slightly larger around my head than other headsets with the adjusters in the default placementDo get a tiny bit warm after longer gaming sessionsNo wired capability however, you can plug in to charge and play simultaneously (other people in a game party will hear a buzz and will be annoyed so I don't recommend )Best Wireless Headset under £100 and others seem to agree also best subtle looking gaming headset

I wanted a wireless headset to use for work as well as gaming. At work I take a lot of calls and it's nice to be able to get up and walk around while on the line.SoundSound quality is good, especially in gaming where the directional sound is pretty powerful. Not high end fidelity, but punchy enough to have the entertainment factor. Can hear those guys sneaking up on you.Signal & BatterySignal strength is good, I can go to my kitchen in the next room and still get a strong signal. Low latency - didn't notice any latency problems in fast paced games. I get about 10 hours battery as advertised.MicLowpoint is probably the mic. Quite tinny and not nearly as clear as my work issued £30 sennheiser voice set.It also picks up keyboard/mouse clicks very easily, doesn't seem to be very directional. It's workable but it's not a strong point by any means.BuildI find them comfortable, not too tight or anything, I can wear them all day without an issue. Controls are okay but the mute button is a bit annoying - no way to know whether you are on mute or not. Wish there was an LED or a pop in/out button.OverallIf you are doing a lot of streaming or playing a lot with others I'd something I'd go for something with a better mic. Otherwise, good headset for this price.

I would like to start with the packaging of the product or cane in a nice sturdy box which was very easily opened and extracted. The instruction of the headphones where very easily to follow even for anyone who hasn’t the slightest idea about headphones. The headphones it’s self is comfortable on the ears with padded sides with padding on the top bridge of the headphones to prevent any dull pain from wearing them over long periods of time. The sound quality is amazing! The sounds are crisp and clear and the adjustable sound wheel on the headphones make it very easy to change the volume. The software also has customisable sound options for gaming and presets for bass and jazz etc.The mic quality is very clear and won’t pick up to much background noise. There is also feedback which you can turn off on your headset with a button or through the software. The batter of these headphones are insane once charged fully they can last all day. The wireless connection is sometimes off when you move around your house there will be dead zones where the single gets distrusted.Honestly this headset is definitely a brilliant product for people of music and gaming! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a quality headset or just to listen to music in general.

I find wearing headphones uncomfortable at times and get itchy ears. However sometimes they are required because not everyone wants to hear you working on special ops and missions and taking care of business. Packaged well, headphones were secured with a clip. Microphone is detachable but can easily be inserted into headphones when needed. I liked the cover over where the microphone would be as it will avoid dust and debris, it has a small rubberlike plug which is pulled out and can be inserted in again when finished. You can control the volume by a turn wheel on headphones as well as pushing on/off to mute conversation. First impressions of headphones are they look sleek, stylish and feel very lightweight. On wearing the headphones they are extremely comfortable around ears - made from memory foam and a padded top of band which is also adjustable. The ear piece sits around with an indentation where you put your ear - this really takes the pressure of them. The sound quality is great, it is very clear and almost feels like a surround sound type of quality. These may seem a little expensive but they extend gameplay as much more comfortable (if you like to play for longer periods). I haven’t as yet used the microphone but I’m looking forward to trying these out soon.

Fantastic looking headset, one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen. The sound quality is great, but it’s enhanced massively if you use with Corsair icue, personally I don’t use these without icue running as the difference is night and day.The mic is super sensitive, however you have full control of this on icue including feedback, also the fact the mic is flexible and removable is a great addition. They also have the bonus of still being able to use them while being charged so if your like me and forget to charge them you can still use them. All in all they are a really great headset for the money (£69 when I bought them)There are a couple of downsides to these which some may find a little annoying.Firstly is the Corsair icue software, this is great if you use it everyday, I have it to control my lighting and fans anyway so it’s not an issue to me but other people have experienced conflict issues with icue and other lighting/cooling control software.Secondly is the actual internal depth of the earcups, I don’t have very big ears but my ears do touch the cover that covers the speakers inside the ear cup, I notice it but It doesn’t cause any pain or irritation while in use, it’s just something to bear in mind.

Coming from an older wired Corsair headset that's been falling apart after 4 years I wanted something wireless. This thing is litulary plug and play on PC, slap the wifi dongle in and turn the headset on and 10 seconds later it was ready to go.Build quality is outstanding for the price solid as hell and it's quite a stylish non gamering looking plastic lump, with many metal parts it feels super solid.Came with 40% battery out the box and had a 4 hour session and it still had 10% or so left when I was done ( I set system volume to 100% and take it down on the headset from there )The sound sounds a little muffled out the box but could be tweaked to my preference ( I listen to a lot of Black Metal /Hardcore and the bass and treble is good enough for non audio snobs ) sound through the headset according to mates on discord was perfectly good enough for the price. The only downside is the Micro USB charging connection ( Charging only ! ) The audio is Good but not as good the more expensive offerings online but for your usual gaming sessions not streaming e.c.t and just playing with the regulars they are absolutely perfect for the price range. Will be recommending for sure
