Circulon stainless steel cookware is my favourite and since discovering them a few years ago I have disposed of all others because they could not compare when it comes to the quality of their non stick finish. Naturally I was keen to try a new addition to the collection and this size is the one I find the most use for.Unlike my existing set this Momentum saucepan comes with a glass lid, I want to just add that due to poor packing the lid fell to the floor when I opened the box so take care when unpacking. The non stick has changed slightly but not in any way that I noticed, still excellent for releasing food regardless of what is cooked inside. The instructions clearly say that after washing and drying it is advisable to use a little cooking oil on the inside to protect the non stick finish, also this is to be repeated every so often to keep it from dulling. I can say from experience it does indeed work.Back to that glass lid, once the food begins to warm the lid clouds over with steam though it is supposed to clear after a time. It didn`t when I cooked potatoes earlier this evening, only when I lifted the lid to check whether or not the water had reached boiling point did the water run back into the saucepan. Not too big a problem if there were a steam vent or indeed a pouring lip but neither are present, as the water rose up it began to bubble outside and the steam caused the silicon handle to become damp. I followed the instructions to the letter and only half filled the pot. For a saucepan at this price point I feel this should not happen, it has never been a problem with my older pans.Cleaning is so easy, I prefer to hand wash to keep the stainless steel looking bright though these are dishwasher safe.Do I like this new Momentum saucepan, well yes it does cook food evenly on any surface and has fantastic non stick ability. Would I pay the asking price? To be honest I would either wait until it was on sale or better still buy a set that makes better financial sense.

This Circulon Momentum saucepan certainly feels like a quality piece of kitchen equipment, it's got a good weight without feeling ungainly and the quality of finish is excellent. The handles are securely riveted onto the body and lid and have a non-slip silicone coating so you don't loose grip or burn yourself using them. The mirror finish on the outside of the pan is flawless but I guess it won't stay looking that way for too long, not if these become your everyday pans and they probably will because they're a delight to use.The design of the saucepan means that it's unusually deep for a pan of its diameter so the capacity is slightly greater than normal and/or you can stir more vigourously without sloshing sauce over the hob.The inner surface is coated with a really excellent non-stick coating which does seem to repel almost everything and makes it extremely easy to wash afterwards. On the base of the pan the non-stick has a circular relief texture, with raised concentric circles, and they mean your wooden spoon sometimes makes a grating-like noise as you stir, but it doesn't cause any issues. As you stir and the pan's contents coat the sides of the pan the non-stick repels even quite sticky sauces and it all just slides back down into the pan, like rain down a windscreen.I put mine to the test with a thick cheese sauce, made in the traditional way and then left to simmer for ages, and it all just poured out with very little residue left for the washing-up - it really just needed a quick soapy rinse to be left spotless again. Overall I can't really fault the quality of the saucepan, it's very well-made with a tight-fitting and substantial glass lid - although some kind of steam vent would be handy. They do seem a bit pricey when bought as individual pans and I'd be looking for a set to try and get better value, but otherwise they'd make excellent cookware that's tough enough for daily use.

This is a really nice, quality pan - we already use Circulon pans at home (the non-stick ones in the dark grey colour) and are really pleased with them but this one is even nicer - many elements are the same (glass lid, non-stick coating, nice sturdy handle) but the stainless steel finish of this range looks even nicer and the base seems to be thicker, which makes the pan even sturdier whilst still being comfortable to use. The size of this lends itself to cooking veg, rice and pasta - after use, we always wash this in a dishwasher and it comes clean really nicely. The only thing you'll find is that the non stick coating inside the pan never seems to completely dry out when washed in the dishwasher, meaning that you need to remove the remaining droplets of water with a tea towel before putting it away.

A very high quality stainless steel pan with glass lid and premium non-stick coating. I have a set of 18/10 stainless steel pans but wanted a non-stick variant for those times when you really need a non-stick pan. This is great pan with a nice deep set to it. The silicon handle makes it comfortable to hold. It's a shame the glass lid doesn't have a steam vent or a fitting that allows some of that steam to escape and I also think the price for a single pan is a little steep. You can't fault the quality though and I'm glad that scrambled eggs are going to be much easier to clean up afterwards now.

This is a faultless pan from Circulon. As with other pans in this range, it has a nice solid/heavy build that is suitable for all hob types - certainly for gas it works well with even heat distribution whist in use. As a bonus, it can be used in the oven too AND is dishwasher safe. It does claim to be metal utensil safe, and although sturdy, I'd still rather use wooden/plastic utensils. The silicon handle grip is essential - after prolonged cooking metal handles do tend to get hot, but not so with this easy grip silicon handle! Overall, I am really pleased with this and thoroughly recommend it.

Excellent quality. Completely non stick. 2 problems with this range of saucepans. Slight risk of touching the metal handle on the lid when removing - can be very hot. Steam creates a great deal of water on inside lid so when removing - eg. to check whether vegetables are cooked, the water will come off lid and pool on top of cooker, These slight issues will not stop me buying a stockpot in due course. The size of the pans do not fit exactly to my cooker hotplates but not a major problem. Could do with a lidded very small saucepan for e.g a single boiled egg.

This is an excellent stainless steel 19cm saucepan with non-stick coating. So far I have used it on multiple occasions to warm up soup and this evening to cook pasta. On each occasion the saucepan has peformed well and was easy to use.As a previous reviewer has mentioned the see through glass lid does steam up if you are boiling water.Appearance wise this saucepan is aesthetically pleasing. The stainless steel finish looks professional and the saucepan has a nice ergonimically designed rubber coated handle, which is comfortable to grip.

We already had several larger Circulon non-stick saucepans so were confident in purchasing another. The non-stick surface is superb and so easy to clean that we do not put them in the dishwasher, even though they are dishwasher rated. This milk saucepan is up to the usual high standard expected from Circulon. The heat spread is even and the handle is comfortable / does not get hot. We have an induction hob and these pans are the best we have found for induction cooking.

Yet another Circulon pan for the collection. Very easy to clean and excellent quality as usual. I don't risk mine in the dishwasher, but they wipe down so easily there is really no need. I particularly like the rubberised handles on this, which means your hands don't get burned when the pan is very hot (a problem with the steel handles on the Symmetry range). As it's high-sided, the capacity is a little more, than other makes of the same diameter.

Brilliant Circulon! I don't know the technical problems surrounding making pans for induction hobs, but there are clearly many! The well-used mantra of 'is it magnetic' doesn't work... Many pans pass this test but don't work on my Bosch hob. They need to be magnetic from edge-to-edge it seems. Anyhow, having bought and returned pans that don't work from major department stores, this one works! And it's a good size and non-stick.

These pans are excellent and work really well on our induction hob. They are substantial but not heavy and seem very well made. Our last pans were expensive and suitable for induction hobs but didn't work as well as these. They heat up much more quickly and evenly and we have had to reduce the heat setting by 2 notches when cooking. The non-stick coating is excellent and literally nothing sticks to it. Highly recommended.

This is the best saucepan I have ever bought. It is a really good size with well fitting lid . Although it is not dishwasher proof this is not a problem . It is an absolute doddle to wash shop . Mashed potato , custard et cetera just rinse off really easily . I have even begin to cook curry and other dishes in this pan because it is so nonstick

Love these saucepans - perfect. Already own the Elite range which have been fantastic for the past 6 years, despite most days being used and then washed in the dishwasher. These new Momentum pans are even smarter and I know will last for many years to come. Can't recommend highly enough!

CIrculon pans are fantastic. They are guaranteed for 25 years - but mine get a lot of daily use. I think you can get them returned to Circular and have them re coated - but not sure of the process. The ridges wear down and also I have let things boil dry!! so the non stick just goes!!

They are a little pricey but I really like Circulon pans and I bought this one as an addition to my set. Sturdy and weighty without being too heavy. I've had some of my pans for 7 years and they still look good. I put them in the dishwasher and use them on an induction hob.
