Based on other reviews I nearly didn't buy this, but now I'm glad I did. I am finding it really entertaining. Yes, it is frustrating in places and most of the game I have played with the "sparkle star" hints on, without which I feel it would have been pretty difficult. Its quite a typical game where you put items that Captain Morgane has collected together to progress the game, not always obvious and you do have to give it a bit of thought. Some of the conversations the main character has with others have to be in exactly the right order or you can't progress - I found that out after about half an hour going back and forth constantly and trying obscure combinations - bit frustrating but got there eventually.

Have played many of this type of game where you search for different objects to enable you to solve problems and move on to the next challenge, but this is the best I've had by far. The graphics are excellent and not too much dialogue either which can be a real pain and its very humourous in places. Got completely stuck a couple of times so had to refer to the walkthrough when I just couldn't work out what to do or where to go to find the solution to a particular problem but that just made it more interesting and challenging. Length of gameplay was also excellent, it kept on going and going, real value for money. I've had games that have only taken a few hours to complete and I've felt really cheated after paying good money.

These games are excellent because you have to think about the clues and work out how to get from one section of the game to another. I bought this to play with an 11 year old boy who has difficulty reading and following instructions. It has proved to be very helpful and he has really engaged with the game. A good way to get a younger child to read and think in a fun and interactive way.The graphics and the way the characters move are of course very of date and older children would probably find the game slow compared to the on line games they can play. If you get stuck there are plenty of on line 'cheats' to help you which is just as well because I have to admit some of the clues in the game are baffling.

I was initially put off buying this game, as the first lot of reviews that came out didn't make it sound that great; It is actually really good. I agree with other people that it is hard to spot some of the items on the small screen and I did have to have the hints option on(A small star sparkles to show that there is a person you can talk to or an object to pick up or use); without it I think it would have been really difficult to play the game. The first chapter seems a little on the childish side, but once you get past that (it's more like a tutorial) then the game gets good! Would definitely recommend.

This is a fun point-and-click adventure for the DS.I really loved the game-story and the animations. Also, there are lots of hours of game time.I have a 3DS XL and even with the larger screen details in the game are sometimes hard to see. But luckily there is the possibility to show active items which can be clicked on, so the game becomes better playable.One down-side of the game is that there are no voice-overs of the conversions between characters. The whole game is without voices and only talk-bubbles, so it lacks a little part of the character personalities.

I am playing the game and I am on chapter 6. The game play was a little different at first (need to click fast on the items you want to interact with) and I recommend pushing the start button when you start the game (this enables the hints, little flashing lights that tell you what you can interact with). So far the game has been quite enjoyable and I would buy a game similar to this one. I would recommend this game to play.

I really enjoyed this game, I only play the point and click games and am glad to see there are still some good titles out. Captain Morgan has a good storyline,the graphics are good, good game-play, not to difficult, but plenty to work out. I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes point and click Adventure Games

great game keeps you interested for hours and the whole game just rolls along at a good pace. Looks good the graphics are lovely and would love to play a follow up of this game, recommend it to any one who likes point and click games.

The game is really good fun and it reminds me of the good old "Monkey Island" games although no game can actually match their humour and storyline. Captain Morgane is good value for money and it's an interesting, no-violence game.

Enjoyable to play and quite interesting. Good graphics and story. Characters are interesting and the challenges are fun, though at the moment i'm stuck on a roulette game, which is confusing. Reccommended.

This is a graphic adventure which I found very enjoyable. I have played most graphic adventures over approx 29 years and I certainly rate this one among the best.

This had an old point and click feel about it, but the story line really drove it along, good puzzles, long game, one I will be playing again

This is a fun game, old style but enjoyable. Good old point and click with many different locations and a variety of characters.

It makes you use your head to see which things go together .and then how to use them i think this is good .
