Another gift for my 14mth old granddaughter, she loves Waffle, the item is so soft and cuddly but my only gripe about this toy is the battery situation, like so many interactive soft toys now, the battery compartment is stitched into the toy, so when Waffle no longer reacts to his paw being pressed there will be huge disappointment for any child, if someone is handy with a needle and cotton then the seam could be undone and Velcro put in place(we’ve done this with a Xmas decoration in the past) I’m all for safety when it comes to children’s toys but this practice of sealing up the mechanism so that the battery cannot be changed will only make a toy lose some of its appeal from a child’s perspective as well as an adults.

The dog is soft, although at first a bit limp looking from the bag but this was sorted by simply giving it a good shake. It will be loved very much by my niece regardless but for me the fact the batteries can't be replaced is the biggest downside to my purchase. However, my niece had already told everybody that her aunty was buying her the waffle the dog toy except I didn't actually know and when I found out I couldn't ruin her dreams now could I lol. I'm sure once the batteries have ran out she will still love this dog and for me that is what is important.

Bought as a gift for a family member. Doll looks cute & fluffy (although frankly you may not be able to tell it's an exact replica of the TV character just by the look of it.) Funny to hear the TV theme song recorded with the product (and a huge part of the price you've paid for goes into the 'brandname'/copyright of the TV program, its theme song and the voice character...)One thing which is a bit of a pity - you can't change the batteries when it runs out eventually. That's about it.

I bought Waffle the Wonder Dog for my 1st Great Grandson, who was born during the `lock-down` and was able to visit (at a very safe distance) but not to touch when he was three weeks old. Luckily, our Argos was open in Sainsbury`s so I could click & collect Waffle to take to the little boy! If the baby wasn't so sweet I would have been tempted to keep Waffle for me! As it is interactive I hope the little chap will grow to love Waffle too. Great Toy - Thankyou. xx

My waffle mad lill one absolutely loves his waffle. Its so soft and well made too. The only thing is, I wish you could replace the batteries as unfortunately you can't. So once they run out that it. It is on the small side BUT makes it perfect for my lill boy as just right for his hands. The Button can b temperamental but is still working for us a few mths in. So yes there a couple of things but The main thing is my lill one loves it and that is all that matters ?

My daughter is a huge fan of Waffle on CBeebies and nagged me for this toy so much. Initially I thought it was a little on the small side but for taking to bed (which my daughter has done every night since purchased) it is an ideal size. The toy is very fluffy and the voice is exactly as on the show. It seems a lot for what you get but can you put a price on your child’s smile? For fans of the show this really is a must have toy. I would recommend willingly.

SO soft & cuddly, & the sensors you touch to activate him talking on his tummy & head are very senstivite so you don't press them as such, it's more like you are stroking him like you would a dog. His head movement's aren't jerky either; they are realistic- cute! The battery compartment is on his bum which he sits on- it's not hidden behind a zipper. This is how he sits unaided. Batteries included-bonus! We all love him, not just the kids.

I was t sure what to expect when I opened the box but I was pleasantly surprised. The toy is very well made and you can feel the quality. The fur doesn’t pull away from the toy as I expected it would. The phrases and theme song are perfect. Not one does his mouth move but he does a swaying dance when the theme tune is played. My children love him and have spent plenty time playing with him. Ideal present/ gift for a waffle wonder dog fan.

My 4 yr old daughter absolutely loves Waffle The Wonder Dog, he goes everywhere with her. He is so cute and feels soft and cuddly. Waffle talks and barks easily when you pat his head, squeeze his tummy or press his paw. His mouth opens and closes when he talks. He moves and sways when he sings his catchy theme tune. There’s quite a few phrases as well, such as “I love you”, “thank you” "my friend" and “walkies”. Comes with batteries.

My younger children love waffle the dog and this one has very quickly become my sons favourite. Waffle goes everywhere with us now and has entertained all the family when we’ve visited them! He’s lovely and soft and when you press his paw he plays the very catchy theme tune and phrases. It’s slightly smaller than I expected but still absolutely fabulous for Waffle fans. Very easy to use for little ones too!

If your child loves waffle then I would definitely recommend this toy! I brought this for my 20month old son and he absolutely loves it! He hasnt put it down since I have given it to him. Soft fur, good size, voice is accurate with a lot of variety. To be honest I didnt even realise it moved until I got it home and tried it myself!! Mouth and head moves which is great fun. Definitely worth the money.

My 3yo daughter loves this toy. It's so soft and cuddly. Waffle talks- his mouth actually moves- and it's the same voice as on the programme which she is also obsessed with. The great thing about the toy is there are three different ways to get Waffle to talk- she finds squeezing him easiest. She loves that the toy plays the shows' theme tune. I think would be a great Christmas toy for Waffle fans.

My daughter was absolutely thrilled when Waffle the wonder dog arrived! He is super-soft and cuddly and has lots of cute phrases which encourage imaginative play and interaction. He even sings and dances to the Waffle theme! It's a must-have toy for any Waffle the Wonder Dog fan. A dog is for life, not just for Christmas... and this Waffle is definitely proving to be the new BFF (best furry friend)!

This toy is good fun. With sensors in 3 places it feels quite interactive especially the head patting. The 'dancing' is also good when he sings the theme tune. You do have to press his paw a lot of times to get the dancing which will be demanded over and over. It says suitable from 10 months but some fur has come out so babies will have to be supervised with this. My 5 year old loves it too!

It’s a lovely toy but the sound function doesn’t work. This one was bought to replace an identical one that my 3 year old lost, so I had taken it out the packaging so it was ‘the same’ before realising it doesn’t work. I can’t take it off her to return it as she thinks it’s her old one so now we’re stuck with this one that doesn’t have working sound. Other than that it’s lovely and soft.
