A lot of features, more than I need but they’re there if ever needed. Autofocus and high ISO - big improvement over my previous camera. Live view very good, especially touch screen focus selection. Some features not explained properly in the manual but they’re there (I.e. screen magnification for precise focus). Great lcd screen that rotates.Cons (minor): - autofocus point in the viewfinder is barely visible when indicating focus achieved and red rather than green, which is confusing. in live mode the focus point turns green when focus achieved.- there are two buttons that trigger focus point selection,

Just purchased this DSLR, this is a leap forward for me, I have mainly used good quality high spec compacts, but this is my first DSLR. Had a play and started to get use to the controls and the menus. A little complicated at first but soon becomes familiar. Functionality is very extensive and care versatile. Some of the symbols take getting used too, but that's just a question of time.I have taken some pictures mainly of my pets and all I can say is WOW! They are stunning and this is with little to no practice. Extremely pleased.

This camera is great for those looking to get into photography. It is ideal for capturing days out in a way that looks more professional than your smartphone, and provides a good gateway into basic photography.The picture quality is good for the price (although I have not tried other lenses yet). It is rather grainy during night scenes, but that is expected for its price bracket.I'd recommend this camera to somebody looking to capture days out, or wanting to get into photography.

Bought this as my first foray into DSLR-land. Slightly fancier than my old Minolta X300! Has proved to be a steep but rapid learning curve and has accompanied me out and about for the last month. Excellent kit lens - expecting my nifty-fifty through the post today... Plan to try with some night-time astro shots too. Love the tilting screen, touch screen, guided shooting, rapid AF, smart-phone control. And the pictures are pretty good too...

I bought the Canon EOS 800D from Argos. They didn’t have it available on the store, that’s why I had to order it online. I’m quite happy with the all things of the Canon EOS 800D, but the thing made me upset is_ when I went to collect the camera the box was open and dusty!! it seemed to me that the device is used..!! I was very upset! I had to buy that used/2nd hand camera because That day I going for holiday and I was on the way!

This is a great camera, however I have noticed that the jpg output when using a wide angle lens (low f number shots) you get colour separation in the jpg output & on the screen. When the raw output is viewed it is fine. But I find this really annoying. The same happened on a 5D camera but when the firmware was upgraded the problem when away. Also I never had a problem with my old cannon. Please fix the firmware

As a newbie to photography as a serious pursuit, I bought this camera a few months back and am really happy with my choice. So much to learn, the camera has been easy to "get to know" and I feel confident using it in all modes. Just back from a weeks field trip to put into practice everything I have been learning, I have some stunning results, ready for critical review. Picture quality is fantastic.

Bought this a month ago as a step up from the 4000d, all I can say is it was worth every penny. Perfect camera for experienced beginners and it is very easy to use, the angled screen and touchscreen features create a whole new world of possibilities. Great job! Price a bit on the steep side for a beginners camera however, I would value it at £500 as opposed to the £750 canon charges

I bought a DSLR because I wanted to take higher quality shots than just a smart phone. The 800D fitted into my price range and has allowed me to take photos that I think are a lot more professional looking than a point and shoot. As a first DSLR the 800 is perfect but the camera instruction videos could do with a bit more individual function ‘simplistic’ content.

I bought this camera because it was recommended by a photography teacher who had been giving me tuition on the theory of photography and how to use my camera more effectively. I'd been struggling with some of the features of my previous camera. I've only had my Cannon for a couple of days but I'm already finding the features very easy to use and intuitive.

Although I bought the camera a few months ago I have not yet really been able to get into the capabilites of this new camera. I have however found the HDR and in-camera filters which are to me very good. Rather looking forward to a cruise in eight weeks time when I shall have both time and opportunity to see if my photography has inproved.

I bought this camera recently and I am so pleased with it's performance and handling. I am finding it easy to use and all the buttons are in the right place for me, making it instinctive and intuitive. I am expanding my lens base and they all perform extremely well. I would not hesitate to recommend this stunning camera.

Picture quality is very good. Focus is fast and accurate especially in live view. I bought a DSLR rather than Mirrorless because I found the Mirrorless cameras too small to get a decent hold especially with a long lens. Soft focus setting is rubbish compared to my Sony R100 but everything else is great.

I bought this at Christmas and since then the lock down has taken place. I have kept my camera with me at all times during this and learnt a lot but also got some great pictures. The only if is the noise made when shooting.

I bought this Camera a few days ago, needed to replace my old EOS 400d as it wasn't quite fast enough in low light to capture junior rugby so far so good love the additional features and Im getting fair results so far.
