I already own the 1 litre version of this teapot, but decided to order this 1/2 litre for the times when I'm the only one who wants tea. The red is a lovely rich cherry colour and most important of all - in any teapot - it doesn't drip! holds enough tea for a decent sized mug or 2 cups. You can use the pot for tea bags by taking out the basket, but I prefer loose tea so leave the basket in situ.

The size and shape of the pot is perfect. Hold the temperature of the tea really well. Love the strainer which fits in the pot and prevents any leaves in the tea, however the rubber seal for the lid is constantly falling off. Difficult to clean -stains easily.

Nice largish tea pot with a lid that fits so well you could hold it upside down safely. Dishwasher friendly too
