I used a Braun Series 7 for years before upgrading to this Series 9 - 9390cc - This gives me the closest, most comfortable shave I've ever had in my life as simple as that ! ...Don't believe the review that says it's difficult to clean manually either...Actually the Cassette Head is a much shallower profile than the Series 7 so it's easy to rinse out under a powerful jet of tapwater (even cold water !)...You don't need the cleaning station model (Suffix cc) if you prefer to clean manually as there is a Series 9 model without this accessory...GET ONE !..it's light years ahead of anything I've ever used before...

I have been using this daily since I got this a few weeks ago and so far it has definitely lived up to my expectations. The shaver itself delivers a very close and smooth shave which has a very nice feel after without any discomfort. I find this shaver very easy to use and the battery life is really impressive.The cleaning hub it comes with works very effectively (I recommend taking cassette off and shaking loose hairs out before though) and the whole package feels well made and built to last.

Firstly this shaver just oozes class and is clearly a premium product from the packaging to shaver, its all top quality. Its been very well thought out and designed and sits well in the hand without being too heavy. The quality of the shave is fantastic, a real step up from my Braun s3, with no skin irritation. The cleaning dock is excellent and really cleans the shaver head. It smells great each time you go to use it. Buy it ! you wont regret it. This review was collected as part of a promotion

I have always wet shaved, apart from when having a beard obviously. So to try an electric shaver was a great opportunity. It came well packaged with all the attachments and manual. After charging and not shaving for two days I couldn't wait. WOW, what a close shave !! I was truly impressed with how it left my face feeling. In fact, it was as good as wet shave if not slightly better. Clean, no fuss or mess with gel/foams etc. Highly recommend. "This review was collected as part of a promotion"

This is perhaps the best razor that money can buy. At first the unboxing process was different the box was huge containing the charging/cleaning station a cartridge of cleaning solution the razor power leads and a good quality leather case. The razor is quick and easy to get to grips with and has a handy child lock feature for travel. Battery life was close to an hour of use on a single charge. The cleaning station is excellent saves time and effort cleanest shave . Review is part of a promotion

So I will start of by saying I was somewhat sceptical of the series 9 mainly because of the cost. I have been using it now pretty much daily for the last week and I have to say I am a convert. The first time I used it I had probably 3-4 days growth and was surprised how efficiently and well it did. I did find that using some lubrication ie gel made it a little easier. Then I have used it daily and its amazing at giving you really good close shave. This review was collected as part of a promotion

The braun series 9 9390c wet and dry shaver is by far the best shaver I have come across to date. With its sleek design and state of the art technology it has been a privellege to use this. Not only does it remove so much hair on one stroke its gentle and elegant on the skin. As an office professional I must be clean shaven every day and have always used wet razors. I never used to get on well with electric shavers. UNTIL NOW! An excellent and close shave first time, no rub or burn and no red rashes. Perfect for daily shaving. This has simplified my morning routine. The only downside for me (and this is the same for ANY electric shaver) it can be a little patchy on my neck. But that's probably my neck not the shaver! I Went for the 9930cc finished in silver and it gives me a close shave (4 out 5) but like most electric shavers they get hot. Had to invest in a post shave palm to cool my skin. This shaver is ideal for 1-3 days growth. Cleaning refill carts are expensive, found an alternative essential oils mixed with Rub-Alcohol 70% which cleans and makes the shaver smell nice. Staff at Orpington store were helpful, polite and quick to serve.Argos web-site was easy to use with the click & collect next day.

My first impression is it’s the best shave I’ve ever had with an electric shaver. Having sensitive skin it causes little irritation and the idea of not having to manually clean the shaver is a plus. The only issue I have had is I would of liked a head cover for when not being used and the cost of the cleaning fluid may put me off. Also even though it gives the closest shave ever it seems to stimulate hairs which means having to shave more often This review was collected as part of a promotion

I tried every shaving option going, electric, disposable / fixed blades, gels, foams, dry, wet, hot, cold, with / without aftershave, balms, etc... I must have the world’s most sensitive skin because I always ended up with a red razor burn rash around my chin / neck. That is until I was given the opportunity to try this Braun Series 9 9390cc Electric Shaver over the last 2 weeks.Well, WOW! just WOW!..Smooth, fast and NO red rash! I have severe arthritis in my hands and I was expecting it to be uncomfortable for gripping but this just wasnt the case.It looks as though it would be top heavy, the weight is distributed so well that it sits comfortably and caused me no discomfort at all. Being able to set the angle of shave is a bonus too. Greatquality product. Out of 3 different shaves the wet shave with gel was my favourite over a dry or pre balm shave. A definite 10/10. This is an excellent Razor. I’ve only had cheap electric razors before which never quite do everything right, so I’ve been looking for a good quality razor like this. It looks superb, sleek, stylish and looks great sat in its charging dock. Ergonomically it is excellent - comfortable to hold with balanced weight and it gives a superb shave as a result. The Braun 9390cc gives a comfortable, painless shave on long hair or stubble. I did not experience any painful 'tugging' on the hairs, and it managed to cut its way through the hairs with ease. The precision (effective) trimmer was a bonus! Most importantly, I suffered from skin irritation years ago when I last used a foil shaver, but this shaver was fantastic as I did not suffer at all, just a close shave with no skin irritation afterwards.
