Bought this as I wanted a nice, stylish kitchen bin with a couple of separate removable containers for general waste and recyclable plastics - and this fitted the bill nicely.The general waste container I put a bin bag in (Brabantia size-G) for ease of emptying and cleanliness (plus the plastic containers have small holes in the bottom of them for (I guess) aeration, so could leak if waste/fluids collected at the bottom), while the plastic recyclable container I leave bagless (I rinse plastic containers in a bowl after washing the dishes) as this remains fairly clean.Both the internal plastic containers taper towards the bottom,

like the bin very much but having trouble with the lid not shutting. After paying so much for this bin do not think this should be happening. Please can you arrange for a replacement lid under the guarantee. Look forward to hearing from you. Yvonne Mann

Excellent. QualityReally pleased with it because recycling is now so easy and tidy.It is a great sizeThe capacity means I am not constantly emptying this bin, yet I can empty the half that requires it.

Finally we can put everything in the bin with this dual bucket bin. No more messy bags haning with recycling any more. Good quality attractive looking bin The touch lid is a very clean idea. Recommended

We have had a Brabantia bin before, but wanted to have one that had both rubbish and recycle compartments. I knew the bin would be of exceptional quality, which is why I chose to buy the one we did.

The ultimate bin! No more recycling hanging round the kitchen in carrier bags it fits nicely into the 2nd compartment in the bin. Good action on the spring loaded lid.

I am pleased with this bin. At first I thought it was a bit large, but have got used to the size now. Very functional and easy to replace bin liners separately.

Really good bin, first arrived dented and amazon sorted. Small household and recycling needs emptying twice weekly. Big family would be frustrated.

Taller and wider than I thought. Looks great and have found a different place to put it to accommodate. Good size inside.

Yes, you have to empty it more often but. Its great not having two separate bins. Looks great. Easy to clean.
