This is an absolutely brilliant item, especially for young children using technology.My 3 year old daughter occasionally gets to play on the iPad as a treat, however, it is the old style big cumbersome one that, when in it's case is really quite big and heavy for her to sit comfortably with. This stand is perfect for her. Even with the cover on, the iPad fits perfect behind the monster's teeth and stands up against his face. Even when she is enthusiastically pressing away the iPad remains stood up. Because it is made from foam it is nice and soft for her to have on her knees so she doesn't get uncomfortable.

When I ordered this I wasn't sure if I was ordering it for myself or my kids because I thought it was just so cute, and sorry kids, but on receiving it I just had to claim it for myself. Don't worry, they have plenty of fun stuff for themselves, and I'll let them borrow it if they want to.I've been using it to read books and watch shows on my kindle at night, and it's working great and makes me smile.There's a decent sized lip to tuck the book in to, and the teeth are quite rigid to keep the book or tablet in place. The base of the stand (where the bottom of the book sits) is also rigid, to provide support. And the base is a sort of triangular or wedged shape to give room for an open book.

As a childminder I need more of these in my life. I cannot applaud this product highly enough. To see a 2 yr old squeal with excitement is priceless.This came well packaged and in perfect condition.As you can see from the pics instead of using a cushion this little girl adored using this. It is soft and very easy on her legs. It holds her tablet without any problems.From the pic you can see the frog needed to go for a sleepover as she loved it that much. (yes shes kissing it lol )One of my favourite products EVER.I received this product at a discounted price or for free in return for an honest review. Having said that I will give my honest review of the product,

Two choices of colour for this extremely well designed and made item, can't call it a toy but gave my granddaughter a great deal of pleasure when she saw it. I chose the Green Monster, your other choice is purple, and it is really bright and cheerful. The description calls it a stand but I think more of a cushion book/tablet holder. It is designed to take most sizes of books and the teeth keeps the book in place whilst you read. These days you have to think of safety for all the 'gadgets' and the monster will give full protection to these. A very useful, well designed item and a 10/10 from me. This is also fully machine washable at 30 degrees centigrade which is handy 'cos we all know how messy

This is a great product - fun and functional! On its own its a cute little monster that the kids adore. But they really loved being able to use it when face timing their dad.We have other iPad stands but there is always the risk of collapse and they need to be stood on a flat surface. With the kids tablet holder the kids can prop it quite comfortably on their knee while using the iPad. It also means I can worry less about them dropping it on the floor!!!The kids have definitely given this iPad holder the thumbs up, and if they're happy then so am I!I was sent this iPad holder at a discount in return for my honest review. The opinions stated are my own and unbiased.

Really pleased with this product!! And my 7 year old is even happier!! He will happily lie on his tummy on the floor playing mine craft on his tablet now without having to hold it, and it's even better for in the car or on the train - either on the knee or on a table. Whilst it's a little bulky for a bag, it's very lightweight so my son will happily carry it on his back in a little back pack. Whilst the teeth are very sturdy, with newer books you do have to bend the spine slightly in order for the teeth to keep it fully open but this is a small thing. Overall we are extremely happy with this product and will be purchasing more for my nieces for Christmas!!!

This is a lovely present, my 8 year old son likes it but not bowled over by it. Keeps leaning backwards doesnt stand upright completely so maybe not ideal for as a tablet holder as you worry that the tablet might fall. Hopefully my son will like this more after time, but now it sits in his room and looks really nice , as the green one we got is nice and bright with big happy eyes. Would order from this company again.

Saw my granddaughters bookmonster and had to have one for my husband's iPad. He is disabled and often has to spend boring hours resting. During these times he watches films on Amazon or other channels but nothing held the iPad as comfortably as this. I will probably end up with one for my kindle as I read a lot... Speedy delivery and lovely quality product; will order again from here. Thank you

I ordered this for myself, when I sit in bed playing games on Kindle! It is perfect, as I have arthritis in my wrists and it's hard to hold the kindle. One problem (easily solvable!) is that my dog thinks it's another toy for him and the first time I used it, it was the other side of the room in the morning! Now it lives in the wardrobe.........

I bought this item as a present for my 8 year old Nieces birthday. Out of all the presents she's had this seems to be her favourite and has tried out books and her Samsung tablet in it and was very happy.I am also very happy with the items, very colourful, well thought out design and we'll made. Would definitely recommend

Protects your little one from holding a hot tablet in their hand and allows them to watch a cartoon etc. hands free with the tablet sitting comfor1tably on their lap. Bought this to protect my child from the heat the tablet gives off once in use which I don't like and also to give some distance between tablet and eye!

Such a great concept, so I ended up getting two. Very sturdy. Large enough to hold a book or device but still small enough not to be cumbersome. I can imagine lots of kids will like this as a gift. I am very impressed. I haven't go the reviews of the kids as I am buying presents early but I know they will love it!

I bought it for me...I’m 65. I love it. The little teeth hold your book open so you can read the latest diet book whilst eating your ice cream. Result. An iPad rests on it at just the right angle for doing some light shopping and necking biscuits...impossible if you have to use both hands to hold the pesky iPad.

This item is fantastic for my young son to use for his tab, books or even my phone on the odd occasion he is allowed to play with it. It helps his posture when on his lap and can be used on tables etc instead of trying to balance it on whatever is to hand! Am going to buy a second one for his little brother

Just perfect. My son is a book worm but sometimes gets uncomfortable holding his books for long periods will now allow him to sit in any position and still be able to enjoy and be comfy. We have actually ordered a second for our other boy, hes not a worm but im hoping the stand may encourage him to be!
