Shipping was decently fast and the product is good -- a good size, my magic mouse tracks on it fine, it doesn't slip easily.I have a few issues with it:sometimes your arm kinda gets stuck to it and when you lift your arm you accidentally and unexpectedly pick up half the mat too, but it's not a big problem;I could probably have done with it being marginally wider (70cm perhaps) as my apple extended keyboard (with number pad) takes up more than three quarters of the width, leading me to accidentally mouse off the pad or into the keyboard sometimes, but that's not a fault of the product, more an indicator I should have bought a bigger pad;And the thing was shipped folded in a plastic bag.

My mate custom built a large L-shaped desk for me. It really is an impressive, stunning piece of furniture, but I needed to protect the leather desktop - both from writing and the indentations left by objects such as my laptops' little rubber feet.This mat is perfect - the upper material is a slightly malleable yet durable plastic which itself indents with the little feet of my Macbook, but when I move the laptop, the indentations fade away. The underside is foam so it would be non-slip on surfaces such as glass. The only slight niggle is that, because the product must be cut with the upper plastic and the foam underside already glued together,

I got this for my Computer desk, as this has a tempered glass top which can get scratched easily.Let me say firstly that the reviews saying this is thin and flimsy or edges curling: yes eventually it will maybe after a few years of usage or they are using it for extreme heavy duty stuff? It's a great price and I think it is plenty thick. In fact any thicker and it would look like a block on the desk not very nice at all.The plastic on top is nice and smooth and very easy to wipe anything off it with a microfiber cloth. The rubber underneath grips the glass nicely so it doesn't move around. And the size is absolutely perfect (please see attached pictures).

Before looking on Amazon I thought I might have to pay for an expensive leather desk mat. However, having come across the Durable Desk Mat at a relatively low price I decided to give it a go.The mat arrived well packaged. At first it seemed slightly curled at the edges, but after resting a copy of a heavy dictionary on the offending edges for half an hour or so the problem was solved. Given that I have a non varnished pine desk, my desk top is prone to indentations from pens and heavy objects. The mat is tough yet flexible, creating a nice writing surface while also protecting the desk from damage. The mat clings to the desk so it isn't going anywhere.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheaper,

I ordered two of these from Amazon themselves. They were sent in separate deliveries, one by Royal Mail and the other by courier. The first was rolled but flattened quite quickly, the other was delivered flat.I'm perfectly happy with the quality - there's a nice indented groove all the way around (5mm in from the edge) that you can't easily see on the product image. As mentioned in some other reviews, it's a perfectly smooth plastic finish but one which I'm happy with. The foam backing works.However, both were 525mm wide, not 600mm as advertised! It didn't matter to me (so I'm not returning them), but I'd imagine that it would be a bit annoying if you needed them to be 600mm. As the size suited me,

Was looking for a mat to put under our laptop when using on our new breakfast bar to avoid scratching the wooden surface. This is perfect for the job as it has a wipe clean surface and soft, thin foam backing. It looks very smart and I am delighted with my purchase. I ordered mine from Choice Stationery (as I use them for supplying cartridges and was confident of their level of service). I want to stress that my mat was supplied in a flat box (not rolled as some have experienced from other suppliers) and therefore was in pristine condition on receipt. Received in good time and supplier and product highly recommended.

Item arrived in very good time (earlier tan expected) and does exactly as described. Makes an excellent writing surface. Doesn't look as authentic compared to traditional leather , however at under £10 (including delivery, it functions just as well. Saw a faux leather one in Ikea for £24 which wouldn't serve the purpose as well as this one. I write on maps with very very fine pen, which would pierce through the paper if the backing behind it was too soft - like the faux leather is. this is solid enough to support the fine nibbled pens and give a great surface to write on.thanks very much.

Bought this to keep my IKEA desk from getting marked and chipped. Ties in nice with the alluminium Apple Mac style i have on my desk.Seems to deal well with cup marks etc. as they disappear after a few days even if you think its burnt in.Is much more conformable to type and use the mouse on over the wooden desktop. I also like the big size as it acts as a giant mouse mat.The mat also has a no slip backing to stay in place and this works well. All n all a decent and cheaper alternative compared to the leatherette desk pads you can buy.

I bought a new desk in Ikea, the top is pine. I quickly realised you get what you paid for - the wooden top was not varnished (and by the time I realised I should varnish it I had put my computer and a million other things back on it) and the surface scratched my wrists while I was typing and wasn't a very nice surface to write on top of either. So I bought this desk top writing surface - it's smooth, it protects my wrists, it covers the perfect area of wrists, writing and keyboard. There is nothing to complain about with this product.

I originally bought one of these mats to protect my work/craft desk and it certainly does the job. So my second purchase was for a different use.I create quilts, garments etc and in doing this use a special cutting mat which I like to leave out on the table. This is where the desk mat comes in.I use it as a protective barrier on top of the cutting mat and by doing this I can use my sewing machine/overlocker on top without damaging the mat below. Invaluable.The mat is good quality and obviously versatile

Ive been looking for a desk mat for awhile as my office, like most, dont supply them and the office cleaners, like most, dont do a good enough job.So to reduce the amount of dust i have to lean in all day i picked up some polish, a duster and this desk mate.Fits well on my desk, does nicely with everything else being a matt black finish and best of all the sponge underside means it doesnt slip or glide while working!Brilliant buy and everyone at the office wants one now too!

This is a really nice, simple cover, you have it foam backed so it's none-slip, the upper is a plasticised vinyl.The contoured edge is more a stamp impression around the edge and a slight thinning of the foam backing.It looks neat and clean, it came wrapped flat and it's in perfect condition, and was in a protective cellofilm wrapping so at delivery it was fresh and clean.I'd not say it looks like an expensive leather alternative, but for the price this is excellent.

Got 2 of these for my office. Particularly to use on my wife and my kid desk space.I have been using these type of desk Mat for a few years, and i honestly prefer them instead of any mouse pad.These gives me the option to place my keyboard, mouse and have room to work without having the mouse scratching the desk.The plastic has a nice touch, and in the the bottom we will have a very soft foam that will give a nice grip to the mat and also some comfort.

This was actually quite good and better than I expected.As a lot of people have stated it does come folded in half because it is quite a large item, and as they have also said it would be much better if it came rolled in a poster tube, but it doesn't. So you will have to open it out and wait for the fold to disappear, which is does after a short time.I placed mine out flat under a rug and after 2 days any folds had disappeared.

I bought this item to cover my black glass desk, as others have also commented in their review. It came well packaged and flat, so no creases or curls to flatten out before use. For the price I'm very pleased with my purchase. The mat is fairly tough, with no sharp edges to scratch wrists, like some others have unfortunately reported, and sits securely with very little slippage. I'd highly recommend this seller and this product.
