Durable Transparent Computer Desk Mat 50x65cmSold and Dispatched by AmazonThe mat which was promised a 65cm(length) x 50cm(width) is actually 49cm(width). As a result, my desk (50x65cm) is not covered 100% as my desk is 50cm width. It's a minor issue really but I was a little bit disappointed.This mat is NOT 100% transparent. It's more like a 'foggy window'. Despite this, if you put notes underneath the mat, IT IS readable. The desk NOT being 100% transparent is actually a good thing because it's quite difficult to notice any minor marks on the desk mat, compared to a 100% transparent desk mat.This mat works great whilst a laptop is on it with a desktop mouse plugged in (the mat works great as a MOUSE PAD).

We have recently redocorated our 5-year-old's bedroom with plenty of white Ikea furniture (the room is small so using light furniture made sense). Our daughter loves to drawl, write and do lots of other creative activities so her old table was soon covered in dificult to remove pen marks and had to be scrubbed constantly to make it look clean. To protect her new MICKE desk, I purchased this item. Not only does it fit the desk perfectly (the desk is fairly small) but it's protects it perfectly as well and serves as both a messy mat and a desk protector. I really liked the fact that amazon sent flat in a large box instead of sending it rolled up. Highly recommended.

Very large, semi-transparent mat; you very much an see the desk underneath it (or whatever you put there); a little blue-tinted. Bendy, not rigid, but strong enough that there's no give when you're writing on it even through a single sheet of paper. It does slide around a bit if pushed with sufficient force (for example, my keyboard's feet are grippier than it is, so if I try to suddenly reposition my keyboard by pushing or pulling, it's the mat that will move). Flat enough that I can put a mousepad half on, half off, and while there's a noticeable bump, it's not so huge that it makes the mouse slip. Came in a large flat box, so no creases.

This is a great product for the price. Contrary to some of the negative comments in the one and two star reviews:1. It arrived packed flat and neither creased nor folded, well packed in a large box.2. It lies perfectly flat on my desk and provides excellent protection for the surface.3. It can not in any way be described as yellow!!4. My laser mouse works perfectly well on it.5. It is not opaque but sufficiently transparent to read a document placed underneath it.6. Whilst "non-slip" is perhaps a little optimistic it does not slide around on the desktop in any way that could be described as problematic.

The mat allows your nice desktop to show through and does not suffer too much from "edge curl". It's just OK for a mouse, but does not replace a proper mouse mat. What it does not do is stay in place!On a smooth, wooden desktop, it will "wander" quite quickly, as you do normal things like move your keyboard. This is not surprising, as most mats move around. The solution, which I have used on previous, non opaque, mats is a little bit of double sided carpet tape at each back corner. This works fine, but now I have two smallish green squares showing through my nice opaque mat - such is life.

My previous desk had been scratched badly by PCs and other items and I wanted to prevent this happening to my new one. I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered the mat but thought I'd give it a try. It arrived quickly and, although the packaging was excessive, I am happy with the product. The desk is protected and as the mat is semi-transparent, you can still see the oak wood. It also acts as a mouse mat. I liked the mat so much that I bought two smaller versions. My printer sits on one of them and my phone and router on the other. Sorted.

This arrived in a MASSIVE box but at least there was no damage with bending etc. It covers a large portion of my desk and has already proved its worth, protecting the surface from accidental spills that would have stained the wooden desk top. I have a floor protector too (I work with private students, the small ones can be messy!), and that has small bumps that stop it from sliding around. I know they wouldn't be suitable on a desk, but some way of anchoring the mat would be good as it tends to slide around a lot.

Bought 2 lots of this product. One for our office and one for our daughter's bedroom. I think I was a little confused as the duraglas name sort of suggested it would be glass-like? It's really 5 layers of see-through thick plastic.However, it certainly protects the furniture, doesn't slip and is easily large enough for me to use both a laptop and a netbook together on it as well as some space for writing!I thought it was a fairly cheap option and overall I am very pleased with it!

This desk mat arrive very quickly considering I ordered during the Easter break. The mat was very well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Great desk mat and with my laptop on it for 5 plus hours there has been no issues with overheating or the mat getting hot. The mat is non slip, transparent so you can put document under it and still see the text, and works as a mouse mat as well. An excellent purchase at a great price.

Bought this to protect my PC desktop.Arrived flat packed. Slightly disappointed that its opaque but the material is tough and well made.The smooth side faces downwards and gives a good grip on the table surface as there is no slide or movement.The slightly rougher side should face up so that you can use your mouse. Works well with my optical usb mouse.After months of use there is no curling of the edges.Would recommend it.

I bought the smaller size, and was so pleased with it that I have ended up ordering 2 of the large size. I like that they are almost clear, so are unobtrusive. They do their job of protecting my expensive desks when the children are doing their homework, and needlework. It saves them having to find something to place underneath their papers. They are easy to keep clean with washing up liquid, if necessary. Very pleased.

This is delivered flat and, most importantly, stays flat and unmoving on your desk. It is see through enough to be unobtrusive but has a slightly cloudy matt top surface which helps it not show wear. A mouse works well on it if not quite so well as on a mouse mat. After months of daily use, it looks the same as it did when new. I will get another, if available, when it does eventually deteriorate.

Purchased this to protect the top of a wooden desk, and didn't want anything that was too obtrusive. I was a little apprehensive if this would be suitable, but on receipt using the Collect+ service, found out it was more than adequate. I highly recommend this product, although the packaging used was overly excessive and a waste of materials, but Collect+ service ideal and convenient.

Bought for a white desk in my daughters bedroom. It looks good on the desk, hardly noticable. It appeares to be pretty durable but most importantly it is doing a great job of protecting the desk. It does not look out of place on the desk. Recommended if like me you have kids that would more than likely accidently damage a desk through use. Rather damage this...much cheaper !!

I really don't know what the fuss is all about. This pad does its job of protecting my brand new desk, and it stays still on it.Sizes are right, the package allow the pad to lie correctly and not to fold. Even if you do it, there will be no sign. You can remove dust with a simple cloth, better if humid.Now I plan to buy another for my mouse and keyboard. We'll see...
