I like this item a lot; it looks great and it is functional although the band is a little lighter than the picture and a pain to get completely level (imagine putting a rubber band around a milk bottle). My problem is why you would buy it, well in my case I am married, but more importantly consider what you will put in it. If you want a colour coordinated kitchen then realise that what you put in it will make up over 80% of the surface area of the container, also if you want to show it off you have to dust it.But I like it, I just have no idea why.

This is a brilliant storage jar. I am using mine for left over soups and casseroles which I need to store In the fridge. It's base takes minimal space, and silicone band means its secure when handling even when heavy and the glass might be slippery. I was originally quite concerned that the glass itself was so fine that it might easily be damaged, but I have read that borosilicate glass is very strong as well as withstanding very high temperatures. All parts of this product are recyclable I believe, and it looks very stylish. Would recommend.

Definitely going to purchase more! This is so nicely designed and is a great size. I think I'll use this size for a cookie jar..I will buy more sizes for pasta etc...will be a shame to put them in the cupboard...they really add some style to your worktop!

These jars are stylish and practical; the black band offers a secure grip and the jars are strong yet lightweight. Quality as expected from Bodum, will be purchasing more to complement kitchen theme.

Very nice storage containers . Purchased 3 for bath salts . Unique christmas gift. Rubber strip makes it more secure to hold so it doesn’t slip out of your hand.

was a xmas present for my mum, try to give her something red and bodum now and then, the jar is of excellent quality and perfect as her pasta jar.

These jars look good, are well made and make it easy to see what's in them. The silicone ring ensures you get a good grip when lifting them.

These are brilliant storage jars, great for keeping everything from pasta to milkshake sachets. They look smart on the work surface.

Really good looking storage jar. Only disappointment is that it has a plastic rather than glass lid. Makes it feel a bit cheaper.

Have a few of these jars and have no complaints at all. Nice product good value for money definitely recommended

Very nice quality item. A little small to hold a whole bag of flour. Would really like a larger one.
