This is a really great mountaineering pack that I’ve taken on a few recent climbs. The design is mountaineering focused with the ice axe and crampon accessories, which I found useful and durable against sharp edges. The brain easily detaches to reduce weight for a summit day. The main straps and back panel have a simple design, but are padded enough to be comfortable on a long day. It does absorb water so make sure you throw your pack down with the back panel off the snow. My one gripe is that as a female, the pack straps are pretty widely offset. I found I had to tighten the chest strap down a little too tight to make them fit comfortably on my narrower frame.

I picked this up before a trip to Denali and was worried id have trouble with it and be too late to do anything about it. BUT not a single issue presented itself. Love the zipper down the side, very easy. to find stuff. carry well when full and hold shape well and plenty of suitable fit options. also carries and cinches up small when its not full. excellent piece of kit.

Single compartment, large 'brain' (top storage), with side zip for poping in tent poles.Am on 4th pack - top attachment for shoulder strap has failed twice (once under Guarantee).Despite this, still the only Backpack that meets my requirements.
