This is actually a very well-built, small-form 16L backpack with a very, very minimalist design. While I am personally not using it for scrambling, I am going to attend a convention with it and so far from testing it on casual commutes, it's fairly comfortable and no issues were discovered.For a convention I can comfortably put in 2 spare shirts, a portable speaker, full-sized headphones, sunscreen, sanitizer, a compact first aid kit, and a nice 750ml bottle of Aviation gin~, with a little bit of room to spare. When strapped in, the backpack had a decent level of comfort and weight wasn't a big issue with those items.Since convention/expo loot will be put into a tote, I don't need any more pockets,

I went through a number of bags looking for one that could accommodate a modest amount of camera gear (one mirrorless body, three lenses) and also fit a few more day-travel items. This is the one. It does not look like a camera bag and is free of all the unnecessary (IMO) hooks and straps that can get caught up when moving in and out of airplane seats, taxis, etc. Aesthetically minimal, clean, simple. Can fit a 13" Mac PB. Has one zippered internal for loose items and then just-big-enough outside top pocket for quick-to-grab items. Overall this is small enough to tote with you when traveling. It is not really big enough as a clothing carry on, nor full hiking pack.

This backpack was almost ideal for what I got it for.This worked as a day hiking back, crag bag, and grocery bag. It held all my snack, water and headlamp for my strenuous hikes, it held my chalk bag, shoes and harness (if I needed anything else in there I would need to attach it to the outside) and it fit a decent amount of groceries in it. My only complaint was that I wish it had water bottle holders on the outside, and it had more padding on the back. other than that it was perfect!

Bought for climbing/bouldering at gym.It’s barely big enough for harness, chalk bag, shoes, T-shirt - but they do just fit.Not sure how well it would protect against rain - the zippers design/position don’t look like it will stop anything especially the outer pocket.All in all it’s a nicely styled compact bag but I wished I’d bought a slightly bigger one.

Great attack pack! Sturdy, simple, well designed. Love it! I’ve used it on all day multi pitch climbs, day hikes/ trail runs and just around town. Perfect for all of the above. Had it for a year, it’s endured all kinds of abuse and looks brand new.

Really good deal. Very practical. I will be buying other products from this brand. One requested improvement for this product though is compression straps, to make the bag quieter and the contents more streamlined and in place when running.

Wish it was just slightly bigger but i can fit my harness, shoes, flip flops, and a chalk bag in the main compartment with a nice place to put extra chalk in the front

I got this bag for a flight and it turned out to be really good. Was able to fit many essentials for my 9h flight. Looks awesome too!

I use it to work everyday. You can really load it up and it sits well on your back and shoulders. Black Diamond makes great gear.

Bought this as a crag and gym climbing bag for for 7- year old and I want it. It’s functional and looks great.
