Previous to buying these I actually went for the Noctua's, but to me, they seemed rather loud, which is important to me. However, I thought I would take the plunge and go for the premium fans. From the first moment, just wow!Installation:- Really simple to install. It came with the rubberised screw hole clips for extra noise dampening - Very good!- Cables felt of good quality and were braided. Good length in the cable to allow for cable management.Sound:- Very very quiet. The Wings 3 max RPM is 1000, but even at that speed, they are SILENT! The Noctua's I had before at 700-800rpm sounded loud and at 1000rpm, well, you can guess.- I am using these fan in PWM mode and have them set to an idle speed of 750RPM and they are incredibly silent.Very impressed and pleased.Temperature:- I have a Ryzen 7 2700x, which known for being a little toaster. With these Silent Wings 3 installed I idle at around 25C (Stock cooler) and average PC duties at around 30-37C. I have yet to test them while gaming, but these are better than the original x4 Fractal Silent R2's I had installed. I'd guess around 8-5C drop for me in average temps looking at core temp while writing this review, so definitely good air flow for their speed. Well worth investing in, if you're after quiet case fans!P.S I have Define R4 case with x4 Silent Wings 3 installed.Overall, I'd most definitely recommend!

First off, Im using the Asus X470 F Gaming Motherboard along with the AMD Ryzen 3700X and the NZXT 630 Phantom case "Because I Love It" and so the is plenty of cooling in this case and also a good few PVM FAN HEADERS on the board.Im using the Be Quite Silent Wings 3 PWM 140mm Fan and straight away I noticed a difference in noise when I installed it "which was very easy". The CPU was reading a temp of roughly 30c at idle then I went into the ROG Bios and optimized all the fans and to be fair I had never done this before and the Cpu Temp went down to 25c which was showing on the ICUE software as Im also using the Corsair Hydro 115i Platinum. Now there is a vast difference from the noise levels to what it was,to what it is now.The new Be Quite fan is first class and now to be fair the old Cooler Master 140mm fan did last at least 10 years and probably was on its way out but compared to the Corsair 140mm fans that on the AIO, I would say by the sound that the Be Quit 140s are defo quieter and I would be looking to swap those out in the near future although the RGB of the Corsair 140s are nice. I can see Be Quite making RGB fans in the future if they dont already but I just wanted a plain black fan for the back of the case.

I bought two 140mm PWM high-speed silent wings 3 and one 120 version with the same features. They are very easy to install and the box includes a set of standard fan screw mounts and an additional set of anti-vibration mounts which be quiet! claims they reduce vibrations inside your case which reduces noise levels. They are ridiculously quiet at around 1000 rpm but get very noisy at their max speeds - 1600 rpm for the 140mm fans and a whopping 2200rpm for the 120 fan which is the loudest at full speed.)In my opinion, they feel very high quality which comes from the design if the frame which is shaped like an inlet which be quiet! claims they produce more pressure and the fan blades have a unique design as well, which is my favourite feature on those fans. The blades have grooves that stretch along the entire surface of the fan on both sides which be quiet! claims they maximise airflow while maintaining low noise level. I personally believe these are the best fan designs or there and if not, one of the best.Overall, the be quiet! silent wings 3 are high quality fans that do not compromise on silence and performance while also having a great design, and the price is reasonable.

I have the Be Quiet Facebook page liked and followed since before they launched this fan and saw them hyping up how this fan is so very quiet with its six pole motor. So since then I was so very hyped to buy one.The Six pole motor is supposed to make the fan motor super extremely quiet but setting the fan speed anywhere above 82% has a really really horrible motor noise coming from it. The 6 pole motor does not make the fan any quieter than any cheap AKASA fan I have ever used. Its the 1000RPM model too which makes it even more odd because the motor doesn't go that fast but yet its the loudest part in my computer.Even my GigaByte GTX1070 with Gigabytes aftermarket cooler is quieter than this fan and its a loud graphics card while gaming.I have the fan curve in my motherboard set to go no higher than 80% where it is dead quiet and I tried using PWM and DC modes but the fan motor is just as noisey in both modes. If you are in the market for a quiet fan then I suggest you buy the SHADOW Wings 2 fan instead. The Shadow Wings 2 fan won't be any good for a CPU cooler though.

Several years ago I embarked on an overly extravagant watercooling project in the pursuit of silence. Only to realise, after great expense, a computer is only as quiet as its fans..After much trial and error I landed with the older SilentWings 2 and was blown away by their quality, engineering and silence. These newer SilentWings 3's offer supposedly quieter operation for the same airflow.BeQuiet offer two installation methods, although I see no reason to use the hard plastic one. Very easy to install - much quicker than screwing them in place and easier to remove in the future. I run the fans at 500RPM while idle and it is silent - no mechanical noise, no electrical noise. At full speed the only noise is that of the air being cut up and sucked through the fans through the case. If, also in the pursuit of silence, I would highly recommend these fans over other brands (I've tried them!). Just don't expect flashy RGB lighting as per the current trends..

A great product but a little expensive for a fan. The packaging is excellent...obviously put together by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. The package includes anti-vibration mountings with push pins and a second mounting with four screws. The cable is a lovely, black braided affair. The fan itself feels slightly rubberised and the 4-pin connector gives you PWM control over speed. It can come to a complete stop if you have a motherboard with the right options for it. It is generally very quiet, almost inaudible, and the spin-up whine is really quiet.Ultimately, I wanted this for the front of my case and to be as quiet as possible. It certainly achieves this and it looks fantastic. There is no RGB but this is for a rig in a living room where I don't want the distraction.

I've combined two of these fans at the front of my case pulling air in and a single 120mm fan at the back extracting air and they work a dream. Because of the size of the fans you dont need them on a high speed to keep your system cool which makes for a silent pc. I have mine plugged into a fan controller to change the speed when my temperatures rise and they just work great. I was going to go for some fancy RGB fans but i wanted performance over looks so i got these and i dont regret it. The fans are basically inaudible at low speeds, the most noise is coming from my CPU fan which is a stock fan so its expected. I would recommend these fans to anyone going for a silent build while still maintaining a good looking pc.10/10

This fan for me has nearly it all I say that because I would have liked pwm on this particular model having said that it is completley silent with the sata connector to 7volt Arghh bliss ! and it leaves room for your other fans on M/B to have connectors.Yep I have tried many fans with my unusual upside down exaust fan and they did not cut the mustard (noisy) including famous brand names this one does it all worth paying that bit extra for bliss. all fittings suppled make sure you order the correct model number for your needs the one I ordered was BL065 which runs a max 1000rpm Ideal for my case.Just one more thing would have liked a magnetic screwdriver to go !

140mm, 1000rpm pmu.I replaced my stock case fans when I upgraded my pc, the stock fans were cheap and natty. This replaced a 240mm intake fan which rattled like the devil.Practically silent even at full speed, you can make out some air movement but absolutely no fan noise.Running at full speed I could drop my cpu water cooler (ML240R) rpm by 200 which was a net reduction in noise maintaining the same temp or keep all rpm the same to drop overall case temp by 2 degrees (bear in mind this replaced a fan almost twice the size).Overall, extremely impressed.(nb: these are for noise freaks not +++ overclockers)

Beware the way this fan mounts if you intend it for cooling a CPU heatsink. It's unlikely to strap on with those metal clips because this fan is quiet thick. I think it's primarily a case fan. That's why it's 4 stars and not 5. Other than this small complaint (I tried unsuccessfully to attach it to a Zalman FX70), it's superb. I'm buying another 140 mm version as a case fan. The 120 mm version I bought is now acting as a brilliant front intake fan in my Cooler Master Mastercase 5.

Great fans. They are incredibly quiet and move lots and lots of air. At half speed (800rpm if you get the high speed variant, 500 for regular), they are basically inaudible. Once you get over 1000RPM they start getting louder, but it’s not a whiney and annoying noise, more like a deep bass sound.Overall, these fans are pretty much perfect. They are definitely a bit on the expensive side but they are 100% worth it.

I've got 5 of these in various machines, and they are very quiet indeed. However one of the fans is slightly noisy for about an hour after it starts up. I was going to return it, but by the time I got round to it, it seemed quiet again. The instructions are fairly easy to follow, and I think there is some assumption that you know anything about pc fans, but I managed to get it right after the second attempt.

Pros:Very QuietDecent AirflowNice PackagingChoice of mounting typesCons:Exterior design doesn't allow for threading the connector cable around the exterior, if you try wrap it around the fan (as packaged), the cable just flops off and needs to be cable tiedOverall: A brilliant product and I'm currently running five of these inside my Corsair Carbide Air 740.

2.5.2017

Very quiet case fan, looks good tooIn the box contains an accessories pack with anti vibration mount and screws if you wish.Installation was very easy and the cables are well made. Everything was extremely high quality. At full load they are a little louder, but it's just air noise not the fan.recommend 70% load for good performance buy low noise.

I bought these to replace the noisy stock fans on the corsair h100i v2 water cooler. The decrease in noise level is phenomenonal! The fans seem to pass a greater volume of air as well so don't need to spin up as high for the same amount of cooling as the stock fans. But even when forcing them to max rpm the noise level is acceptable.Great products!
