I've had a set a few years now.These keep their seal..but you got to keep the seals clean of any debris because bits of food would cause a slow ingress of air and thus lose the seal. (make a close check of seal and also the bit (valve) the pump fits to).Use a nail/dish brush to whip round the seals as you wash so I wouldn't put them in a dishwasher. (anyway I'm it at our house!)Another thing to do is pump it so that that the lid becomes noticeably concave (sunken?), say about 5/6mm this way the seal will last much longer because you create a stronger vacuum to hold the lid tighter.Bright idea to makers:.. why not make a battery operated suction pump with auto vacuum shut off as an optional extra?

Not used them much, but they do the job well when I have used them. No complaints, they're good.
