Got this phone few days ago and wanted to test the SE fully before doing my review.First off when I got it out of the well packed box the film on the IPhone SE box was broken at the bottom of the box and they just put some tape on it and sent it anyway so yeah..... you lose one star for the seal being broken then cellotaped up!But apart from that the SE 2 is an amazing value for money!First off do yourself a favour and buy the anker powerline 2 fast charging USB-C to lightning cable for £19 and get the fast charging anker USB-C wall plug. Just spend the extra amount you will thank me later on I've got the powerline 2 and the USB-C wall plug and oh my it charges your SE soooooo fast 1%- 57% in 30mins.No joke I tested it myself. If you charge with the cable and wall plug out the box you get a joke off 22%!! For 30mins.Next the camera its really, really good it has the IPhone 8 camera with iPhone 11 pro software inside with the A13 chipset which is an absolute beast! Just a little disappointed that they couldn't bump the screen resolution to 1920 X 1080p from just above 720p. But going to be honest the only time you may need the extra resolution is for when your in a COD game and your trying to shoot to the far side of the screen of the map. Also for photo/ video editing. But apart from that the display is pretty good overall for an LCD panel.Battery does well so far......But when you do play an intensive game like COD Mobile if your out for the day make sure to bring an10,000mAh fast charging power bank because your going to need it?. That A13 chip is fantastic but kills the battery because it's so fast and powerful. As I said earlier get the cable and wall plug I suggested! Battery last for a day for average google, Facebook and texts/calls etc.Get the 128gb storage for £50 more double the storage, I haven't because I have loads of micro Sd cards so I dont need it but the average person will need 128gb and more because they dont tell you this when buying the phones but.....The iOS system takes up loads storage before you put anything of your stuff on it I mean may GBs of storage. 14GB I think? But overall a very good refresh! We will see if I keep the SE as that battery is small so I'll update If I can to let you know if I'm returning it!1 week later! The A13 with the small battery is very good at saving battery life for your average Facebook, YouTube, and even gaming on COD mobile! I was very surprised on how cool the SE was when on max settings on COD mobile with an case on it as well. I'm also impressed on how the A13 is saving battery while on max settings and with such a small battery!?Probably because it's an LCD and only 720p does help a bit? GET THE FAST CHARGING CABLE AND WALL PLUG!If you have the money then get it.Camera is absolutely BRILLIANT the bokha effects and outline is extremely accurate with high detail compared to iphone 7, 8plus. Only a few times missing my wild hair ✅

Bought a couple of weeks ago after being on Android for over 10 years. Always wanted to try an iPhone but they’ve always been too expensive to justify. We have iPad’s and a MacBook already at home so having an iPhone makes sense. The SE price persuaded me to give it a go and I must say I’m very pleased with it so far. Very simple to switch from Android - some apps didn’t come across but mostly games my son had put on my previous phone so that’s a good thing!Goods things - great build quality, size for one-handed use, camera very good and a very fast phone. Like to home button and fingerprint ID. Integrates brilliantly with my other Apple stuff. Not so good - small screen took a bit of getting used to after a 6”+ screen with Android but surprisingly it’s not really mattered that much. Battery life is okay - due to lockdown not really using it as much as I would normally so we will see.Overall this is a great little phone - should last for ages and does all I need. If you want a big screen flagship iPhone then this isn’t it and they are still very expensive but for an average user it’s spot on.

This device has all of the essentials and basics of the higher end models. The stand out features are:- Great processor - The A13 Bionic means this device can handle anything- Great camera - very good results from the camera (apart from in low lighting)- Good battery life - battery life will get you through a day easilyOne comment - I would advice you go for the 128GB if you consume a lot of media. Recording 4K at 60FPS will hammer your storage, but the video quality is amazing and worth it. Worth forking out the extra to future proof the device. However, if you only use the device for a few messages and calls then 64GB is fine.

Purchased to replace ageing iPhone 5 that I bought as a reconditioned model from Amazon several years ago. The 2020 iPhone SE product red is fantastic, especially for people with small hands! It’s a similar width to the iPhone 5 but slightly longer and much slimmer. Easy to use and much less bulky than the iPhone XR (work phone). Love the fact that it was easy to transfer data from iPhone 5 and set up. Am also going to use apple pay as can then leave my purse at home! Colour is a nice bright red and I bought it together with an easy fit glass screen and transparent case. All in all excellent value for money and highly recommended.

It’s okay in terms of overall quality. Basically it’s just the iPhone 8 but with a more powerful chip and its faster. Set up was easy and it’s very fun and easy to use. Given 4 stars because in my opinion the battery life is nowhere near the claims made by Apple. After adjusting settings and turning off all non essential notifications and background app refreshes the battery life has improved. It’s worth the money and it’s smart and feels durable. If you are not going to need for games then it’s a good phone for lighter users.

This iPhone SE was a direct replacement for my previous older generation iPhone SE. Built in functionality to switch from old to new phone was successful, but took longer and more input from me than last time. Phone slightly bigger than old one but, Battery life slightly better for now. Difficult to say exactly why, but camera does seem better than old one. No major "wow" moments, but the phone does seem to be a generally "better" version of my old SE (better battery, screen, camera, storage)

I bought the iPhone SE to replace my old and very tired iPhone 5s and I am really only an occasional mobile user. Compared to my old iPhone this one is super quick to respond, easier to see the screen when outside and calls sound loader and clearer. The Touch ID has worked flawlessly. I haven’t really tested the camera. I have noticed I only seem to get emails through when I go into the email app, as far as I know I have set it up the same as my old 5s (it received emails without opening app).

Absolutely thrilled with this phone! Can not fault it in any way shape or form! The classic design, the features, the specs, even the colour (white) absolutely timeless classic that will be as good if not better than the original iPhone SE which still stands up against most phones in the present day also. No need to spend ££££ on the latest iPhone when this phone does everything the same for half the price yet still has the same Apple logo we all know and love! Thankyou Apple! Thankyou Argos!

The iPhone SE 2020 is an excellent phone. The features are excellent, too.The battery life is extremely good, if it wasn’t she would say so.The camera is very good, too !I ordered this phone via the Argos App at about 4.00pm, it was ready to be picked up straight away, so we drove to our local Sainsbury’s store to pick the phone up from Argos 20 minutes later. If you’re looking for a decent phone at a bargain price, you won’t go far wrong with this phone, especially for its features.

I'd like to have waited for the iPhone 12, but needed a new phone.Buying the iPhone SE (2020) - was never going to be an earth-shattering experience. The size, form factor and appearance are identical to the 6S, so the usual degree of excitement was muted. However, it's a familiar and trusted interim until the newest model arrives on the scene. The SE isn't going to rock your world, but if you're looking for a cheap(-ish) iPhone, this will undoubtedly do most everything you need.

Bought this phone as my old trusted 5s finally stopped working. I didn’t have a huge amount of money to spend on one but needed an up to date good modern IPhone. Bought this on buy now pay 6 months later. Ordered and paid online via Argos then went to Sainsbury’s (argos In store) toPick it up. It’s a really good phone design, features everything about it. As always with iPhones very easy to use. Definitely need a cover for it though because it’s so slim it could skip out of your hand.

Although the iPhone may have the same body shape and features as the iPhone 8, it's a great price and it's way more better than the iPhone 8, as in like the camera and the performance wise. The camera is the same as the iPhone 11 but except it hasn't got night mode. It does include a dark mode feature. The sound quality is great, clear sound, great bass. If you want a cheap but brand new iPhone that just relased, i recommend you purchasing this. No More AUX slot.

3.6.2020

If you have to have an iPhone, this one is solid and cheap. However, the battery life is not excellent (as expert reviews suggest). Also, transition from Android to iOS is not without problems. For example, some contacts didn't get transferred, and if I add them to iPhone again, next day they are gone. Plus there are other annoying issues like on all iPhones (such as impossible to use a custom mp3 as a ring tone, whatever I do, whatever tutorials I follow).

2.7.2020

I bought this to replace my iPhone 6. It looks, feels and works just the same as far as I’m concerned just a bit faster and will be supported by future iOS updates (which is exactly what I wanted from it) both front and rear cameras have also been updated.Protective cases designed for iPhone 7/8 fit this phone. The one downside so far (I have only had it a week) is the battery life, if you are a heavy user it won’t last to the end of the day.

Probably Apple’s best value product to date (after the 10.2” iPad). Some won’t like the smaller screen size, some won’t like the “chin” with Touch ID button but for those who prefer a smaller phone that can be used with one hand and fit easily in a trouser or jacket pocket then this is great. I don’t game on my phone but given the processor it shouldn’t be a problem. Do bear in mind though that this has a smaller battery than the 11 series.
