Among the Sleep is a relatively short indie title, rather than a big budget release. This game will not take very long to complete, and is not as slick as the bigger more expensive titles available. Occasionally the controls did not want to do what I asked of them, and I could see no reason as to why I could not get the baby to climb or pick something up when he had done moments ago. A little frustrating at times but not game breaking, the controls could have been better. The graphic style is pretty although again definitely not top notch. The focus here is on the story, which is where Among the Sleep excels. Playing as a baby is a very different experience, and you are walking through a nightmare that seems very real.

I really appreciate the change of pace, tone and style of this.The setting and story of it is quite interesting, yet it is not until the closing moments of the game that it all comes together, which is a bit of a waste.The gameplay itself aims for simplicity, yet can get frustrating as I was left without knowing where to go several times.The game is indeed quite short, and at a price above £15 it is hard to justify the purchase. At the same time, if the game was longer it would become very tedious.This is a game that appeals conceptually but lacks execution. I can't recall many games executed from the perspective of a toddler. This alone appealed to me and I did get some good enjoyment out of the game.

Atmospheric, creepy and quite sad, Among the Sleep is a game I personally will not forget. I also actually didn't know there were enemies in this game (though it was just a walking Simulator), but then... Christ. Stealth actually plays a large part - I will say no more.Well worth playing, however, bare in mind this is no juvenile monster-basher, but is in fact a genuinely moving and very bleak tale.Why not 5 stars? There are some issues with environment traversal, wherein the little guy you control just will not climb obstacles that need to be overcome in order to progress. One star deducted for that.

How this is rated a 12 I have no idea! I LOVE my horror games and movies but the power of suggestion and sounds alone in this game scare the life out of me! The baby itself makes frightening noises randomly when moving about giving constant 'jump scares' as my son calls them. Definitely wouldn't recommend for anyone with younger kids unless you want to deal with them being up half the night. As a horror/ thriller game though it ticks all my boxes!

When I first saw this game i just had to look at the trailer. Soon as I watched it, I just had to try it out..... Glad I did as it was a good game. It had a good little story, OK gameplay, graphics wasn't the best but for this type of game they're not meant to be.. Altogether this game is weird and wonderful and shouldn't be missed.

So you play as a toddler and thats how you see the world crawling trough dark and spooky hallways and corridorsI would like to thank soedesco for having a physical edition available for purchase

Super atmospheric: even a little scary in parts. The sound track especially is suspenseful. The game was a little bit short, but for the price what do you expect.

Great game. looks great' It is scary though and hard to play which only adds to the entertainment. Game play is great. You might want to leave the lights on.
