First thing to note, this is a big pan. It's heavy. You'll note the two handles - you need them. I nearly broke my wrist trying to pour chilli from this into a container. It is a big sturdy pan. In fact, although it's advertised as a saute pan, you could use this to replace almost any saucepan or frying pan - which is a good thing because it'll take up so much room in your pan cupboard you may not have room for any others! Apparently it can be used in the oven as well, but since the handles don't detach you'd have to have a damn big oven, or leave the door open. To be honest, I'm not quite sure why it needs to be so big for a saute pan - what in the hell you'd be sauteing that you'd need a pan like this I do not know...Now,I'm the kind of person who can burn pasta (oh yes, I can) so a non-stick pan like this is great. I don't like using a lot of oil, and with a pan like this I don't need to. No matter how hard I tried, nothing burned onto the base of this. Miracle! It cleans easily too - I left it to soak for about 20 minutes with hot water and Fairy Liquid, and I scarcely need to do more than wipe it around. Good thing too, because I don't think it would fit in my dishwasher!

This is a big pan. 5lb / over 2kg in weight. I am assuming, because of this it needs a second handle. Both are double rivetted and neither move an inch. Both handles (and the one on the glass lid) are also rubberised, so no grip slippage and should keep cool. Although Zyliss say you can use metal utensils without fear of scratching, I only have rubber or wood, but still that's good to know. It can be used with all hobs, including induction.First thing I cooked after giving it a thorough wash was a lettuce soup. One and a half pints of stock, three lettuce heads, onions, garlic and tarragon. All ingredients fitted well in the pan, not even up to half way and produced a lovely soup.Weighing the pan fully laden, it all weighed 3.6kg / 8lb, so the extra handle helped stabilise moving it about safely. What I did find is that the second handle gets hot quite quickly and the glass lid doesn't fit snugly, so steam comes out of the sides instead of just the pressure valve.Good pan, but will take up a lot of room in your cupboard.

Two things immediately strike you on receipt of this pan, it’s big and it’s heavy! Personally, I like heavy cookware, it’s less likely to slip and usually gives a more even heat. It's also, I would say, unusually deep but again, I would rather this than it be too shallow. It’s also dishwasher safe but I wouldn’t be expecting to fit a lot more into your dishwater after this goes in.The pan consists of three layers of materials in its build (which would explain the weight, to make it non-stick and remove the need for butter or oil. In this regard it works extremely well with no signs of food sticking as of yet!The main handle doesn’t conduct heat which is always welcome and feels very secure, but the secondary handle can get a little warm.It comes with a glass lid which fits pretty well with only a small amount of steam escaping from the edges. All in all, a superbly constructed and well thought out pan that will do any cook/chef proud. Just be aware that it’s going to take up quite a bit of space!

So the first thing to note about this is it's MASSIVE. The overall pan is far bigger than you're expecting, I think because it has a handle on both sides. On one side is the traditional pan handle, on the other more of a pot handle. It's a bit weird looking, and I am not entirely sold on it yet.The pan itself is big, heavy and reassuring. It takes a lot of food/liquid, and the non stick coating really works. There is a lovely metal base to give you an even heat throughout and it feels more or less indestructible. Zyliss offers a ten year guarantee which shows their confidence. It's dishwasher safe (but will take up a lot of room) and oven safe too (up to 180). If it fits, of course. So I really like the pan,but not sure about the stubby other handle. It's all quite heavy, which is presumably why they have put handles on both sides, but it also makes it a little bit, well, different. Cooks brilliantly, but feels like it takes up more space than it should.

I am super impressed with this product. It is a massive pan though and comfortably makes things like a bolognese for six people for example. It can be washed in the dishwasher which is always a bonus but for me I have a slimline dishwasher and this takes up all the space (so bear that in mind). You don't need any oil or butter at all with the pan and although I use Fry Light as I follow Slimming World it means I'm not facing the expense of that. I've used it for just me and I've been able to do a fry up of sausages, bacon, mushrooms and egg all in the same pan. So for the pan itself I would've given 5 stars. The reason for dropping a star is that small handle gets hot and I've caught myself a few times on it if you aren't holding it right. There's also a lot of steam as the lid isn't snug so make sure you're lifting the lid up and away from you as it was really easy to get a steam burn.

This is a serious pan!! I know the description says 11", but the handle and the stub handle (for stability) seems to increase the size more than I would have expected. It is also very heavy, which is why the provision of the stub handle is very useful. The main handle is very grippy, so you don't feel it will twist in your hand. The lid fits well, and the handle doesn't seem to get too hot in use so far. The instructions say that the non-stick is so effective that you don't need to use oil or butter for cooking. We actually like a smear of butter, so we haven't tested dry pan cooking. The solidity of the base means that heat transfer is very even, and sauteing is very easy and quick. The pan can also be used in the oven (up to 180 degC), though again we haven't tried that. It cleans very effectively in the dishwasher. For family-sized frying, this pan is ideal; Well worth the price.

This frying pan is huge, bigger than the largest ring on our cooker and we've been using it sparsely, only when we have guests around for food and we need to cook unusually big meals. But it's good to have such a big frying pan around than not. Non stick surface is great and it appears impossible to damage, I even cut a stake while in it and there was not a scratch. Due to its size and the stubby handle, it does require quite a lot of space to store and it blocks half a cooker when in use, but then again, we are using it only when really needed, so not a problem for us. For those with large families, this one is definitely a must, especially because it has a good fitting lid - versatility of this product is just great and quality exceptional.

This non-stick saute pan is pretty large across, pretty deep and has a second handle for stability when moving it. I think because of this additional handle (which is needed!) it seems even bigger than it is. Depending on the size of your hob, you may find it sticks out to much if you are trying to cook several things at once. The non-stick element does work - this means you need only a little oil so makes meals healthier! It also cleans easily, not leaving any food residue.Food seems to cook pretty evenly if this and it's easy to transport with the additional handle, so overall a pretty good product!Personally,I like the depth but perhaps would have preferred a pan that was a little smaller in diameter.

Lidded saute pans are so useful - a lot of my standby dishes involve frying stuff, then adding more ingredients and covering the whole thing. Unfortunately, many of these dishes are quite messy and hard to clean. The Zyliss has an interesting looking spackled surface that transfers heat efficiently while also being extremely easy to clean. I've made various one-pots like jambalaya and curry and it hasn't let me down. It's also decent for frying in general if nothing else is clean and I want a quick fried egg! The two handles on the body of the pan are round and easy to grip.Overall: a usefully sized and featured pan that's easy to clean

This is an excellent Sauté pan from Zyliss,it has 3 layers of non-stick coating.I have used it a couple of times already and it works perfectly well without the need for butter or oil, ensuring some smooth, more healthy cooking. The pan has 2 heat resistant handles that are ergonomically shaped to ensure safe, comfortable handling. Also has it’s own see through glass lid.On the down side,it is rather heavy and fairly big.As a result of the second handle, the saute pan doesn’t fit flat within my sink, which makes it more difficult to wash, these are minor gripes though overall..

Been using this for over a month to cook pretty much everything you can image. This is a huge pan, and incredibly sturdy. The non-stick material really does work, and is a breeze to clean. The second handle makes it easy to handle (otherwise, its rather heavy). The downside for me is that the handles (and lid handle) aren't completely heat proof, so this pan won't go in the oven or the grill (sometimes I transfer food post-hob to cook through fully, or to brown/crisp on top). Its a pity because this would be as close to perfect as you'd need otherwise.

This is a heavy good quality pan. I love the way I can lift this on and off the hob with two hands using the short handle and the long one. Because of the amount of metal in the pan it takes a little while to come up to full temperature but once there it quietly coped with a fry up for two of pork chops, sausage, and eggs, . It’s wry attractive and the high sides stop splashing. The lid is very strong and fits well with a hole to help evacuate excess steam I wonder will it really last ten years. But it is very attractive and a real asset tne kitchen.

Everyone needs a good, go to, basic pan in their kitchen. This one is hard wearing and features three layers of non stick coating. We use this for a variety of dishes and it has withstood a lot of cooking!!The pan is very heavy with two rubber handles for easier handling. This one looks to last a lot longer that most non stick pans we have tried in the past. Others have had the non stick coating wear away quite quickly but this seems to be well made. It is dishwasher safe and does come with a 10 year guarantee.

This is a wonderful pan that's so easy to use and so easy to handwash. It can go into the dishwasher without damaging the non-stick surface but the dishwasher isn't very kind to the outer bottom of the pan. Mine isn't anyway. The non-stick surface is not teflon but it doesn't tell you what it is, That's the only big negative about the pan.The pan is huge and If you have a roomy hob, this will not be a problem. For smaller hobs, the knob hadle will melt in the sun,This is a great pan.

Fabulous pan. Has excellent non stick capabilities even without using any oil. A great size that is also quite deep. One benefit for me is that is can go into the oven up to 180 degrees C which makes it great for casseroling and braising. It is very solid and well made which does make it a little heavy but it is well balanced by having one large and one small handle. I would recommend this pan and I am having great fun using it.
