I discovered the WMF brand in New Zealand several years ago. To this day it`s easily the best stainless steel cookware that I have ever used.The build quality is second to none with attention to detail first class. The riveted handles stay cool on the hob and the four function lid is simply a godsend. And the polished stainless steel finish is really attractive.The heat distribution via the Transtherm Base really works well-and whatever you cook in the pot seems to turn out fine.The 24cm stock pot will accommodate a large ham or chicken with ease with enough depth in the pan to cover them completely with water.Also excellent for casseroles etc-especially when cooking for a larger family.I know

I first learned of WMF in New Zealand-looking at the stunning quality of the brand in general-I think that it`s worth paying the extra to get something not only visually stunning-but also a product that will last a lifetime-the Trams-therm base heats quickly and evenly and the unique pouring system is a dream-the red silicone insert set against the highly polished stainless steel make the pan a real piece of kitchen eye candy!

i an no chef but we do cook properly every day and so this saucepan gets a lot of mileage. Been using it nearly daily since purchase (6 months +), dishwasher-ing and even burning things in it (whoops!) and it has stood up fantastically. Not a word to say bad about this. Will buy more WMF products (I also have their garlic press which is the bomb!) whenever I can afford to replace other kitchenware!

Everything about this large saucepan (OK casserole!) is superb. The size makes it suitable for families rather than for single people. But if you want to boil a chicken or a joint, you will need this size nevertheless. So it is still nice to have a pan of this size even if you are going to use it very occasionally. But the quality is really fantastic.

This was expensive, but now that I have it I couldn't live without it. Beautifully made, and feels like it will last forever.

Excellent, as would be expected from WMF. For international buyers, this will fit your imperial 7 3/4" pots perfectly.

Very good quality, however, the two handles could become very hot and the users shall be extremely careful with it!
