A 2TB drive in a 2.5 inch chassis. No the speediest of drive but it does the job just fine. Wanted a large capacity drive but have been moving to small drives in my PC as they tend to use less power and generate less heat. So far device has been fine.If you are buying this for a laptop be aware that this may not fit as it is a lot taller than "standard" drives. The same applies for external drive cases too.

This drive has been running 24 x 7 for a couple of months now, in my Linux server as one half of a mirrored RAID pair.(I use different brands for each drive, hoping that there is less chance of both failing at the same time.)It works reliably and quietly - what more can anyone want?

Very good hard HDD. Removed one star due to the thickness of the unit it's thick. i suspect it wont fit in most laptops or 2.5 Nas enclosures due to the thickness.. had to put it in me Desktop instead.
