This model exactly matched the failed HDD on my BT YouView box - Humax DTR-T2100 500GB which was out of warranty. I guess I could have used any compatible drive but at least I was guaranteed all the mounting holes would line up and Western Digital have a good reputation so combine this with the price which was one of the cheapest UK/EU deals on ebay then it was a no-brainer!

Being for my security system I was anxious for a quick delivery. To my pleasant surprise the part arrive the day after the day I ordered. Ten minutes after receipt the part was in my Swann security system formatted and working. Security restored.

Bought this to upgrade laptop from 320GB to 500GB. Apprehensive because price was so reasonable but it worked a treat. Laptop works as well as it did before. Very pleased, and operation so simple. Highly recommended.

Pleased with the disk drive,no problems so far. Working quietly and efficiently as a usb external hard drive.
