This tripod is a hefty piece of kit. Not much fun to lug around on location, though the carry case does help. It is excellent though. It feels like a quality item, and is very sturdy. It does very well for studio photography. The extension arm is very useful in letting you take photos in awkward positions, such as trying to shoot top-down. There's also a thread on the underside of the tripod if you need it, though the arm pretty much negates its use. Highly recommended.
