As described. Easy enough to put together, one person job. Very sturdy construction. Now for the problems: The banister does not stay attached and the little bits either side (planters?) also come off easily. The green bits that are supposed to represent plants are completely loose so I've removed these as they will just get lost anyway - I don't know why they aren't glued in! It is also a bit of a pain that the furniture can easily be pushed out of the back of the house, due to the roof extending beyond the back, it is not possible to push it up against a wall to stop this happening. In spite of these niggles I still think it is really great. I got this for less than half price so it was very good for the money.

After reading the other 1 star review (doesn't really make much sense) I took a punt at buying this at a brilliant price and I am glad I did.It's a beautiful, solid, excellent quality dolls house. Really easy to put together and all the furniture is pre-assembled.It comes flat packed with all the lovely little bits and pieces shown on the pictures.It is very robust and I can tell that it will last for a long, long time!

I ordered this when it was on sale , its a really good size , lovely nice bright colours and its lovely quality . you get loads of furniture so no need to buy extra , my daughter has loads of happyland people which are the perfect size for this house .overall its lovely i love it ! 5 stars
