Essential software for any laptop. Provides you with: Word, Excel PowerPoint and Note.Item is much cheaper here than other retailers. The RRP is usually £119.Install was via a product key. Required an email address for set up which was very convenient. This product doesn't require a disc anymore nor does it allow you to install on more than one PC. To install on multiple computers you would require office 365 or some other incarnation.Install was very easy and it detected I had an older, expired version. My advice is if you have an old expired version on your laptop, install this new software first (64bit), then uninstall the old version. It's much easier this way. Be careful not to uninstall the wrong one.

Excellent purchase. I couldn't believe the price of this product when buying from Microsoft and places like Curry's and PC World especially when I already had purchased a 2007 copy of Office which had 3 lifetime licenses. I know Office is great software but its an absolute rip off and this is the problem when you have to replace your old laptop. Microsoft keep trying to find ways to force people to repurchase the same product - many of us don't want the free Office cloud solution and they would really like you to opt for the SaaS so that you pay every month.However after buying a new replacement laptop with no CD/DVD drive I had no option but to buy the latest version so that I could install

This is an excellent product and great value for the money but I must admit to misgivings when Microsoft failed to recognise my product key on their database. It was necessary to contact the Microsoft Help desk after spending an hour getting nowhere on my own. The help desk tech couldn't have been more helpful and, after a further 90 minutes he had sorted the problem, downloaded the software and installed it on my computer. Since when it has been performing perfectly. Apparently the conflict over the product key was, that I had previously installed the 2013 version of the same software on my previous computer and this was linked to my Microsoft ID,

Since my new Win 10 laptop has Office 2016 pre-installed I purchased this to obtain the licence key which is provided in the quite small box, there are some basic instructions so it can be downloaded if required. Installation is quick and easy and it recognised I was logged in with MS Account on Win 10. Its quite an expensive office suite but I prefer having all the features of Excel. The only annoyance is that it will not run updates (which it often wants to do) with Win 10 meter network set to ON. It recognises this and should install but doesn't, turn off metered connection and the updates install (then turn on again metered connection). Unlike Office 2007 (which I also installed)

I needed a newer version of Word to use with Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 15. The old Word 2003 that I had been using evidently no longer smoothly interfaces with the newest version of Dragon. But I didn’t want to shell out $70 a year to Microsoft. The solution was to buy a key, download a 3 GB executable file, and install it. I had recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and now I had to load Office 2016 on top of that. The upgrade is not seamless, but was not horrible either. However, now I am the proud owner of a physical copy of Office 2016 that resides on my solid-state drive and is fully registered with Microsoft. I was even notified of an upgrade. I really like the new version of Word,

I hope this product is going to be good to use but the process of installing it and activating it has been painfully slow and difficult. I have spent hours in Online chat trying to get the problems sorted out. Despite all that I don't think it is all properly installed so my problems are probably not over yet. I bought Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016 but the application 'My Office' says it is Office 365! It better not be. I have spent so many hours trying to get this product installed. Microsoft software never used to be this bad. I have also had problems with the windows 10 update - more hours and I mean hours spent on Online chat trying to sort it out.

I decided to upgrade to 2016 from 2007 as I am now using Windows 10. I found several good deals advertised on here and read through everything very carefully. Yes, all sounded good until I read the reviews. The problems a lot of the purchasers had were just not acceptable so I chose to go to Microsoft direct.The software did cost a bit more but after checking with them that my computer would work properly using it I did the downloaded . Everything went extremely smoothly and the software works perfectly - well worth the extra.I am still getting used to the software and a lot of it is the same but, yes, I DO LOVE IT hence 5 stars for the product.

Having four laptops, one desktop and numerous tablets, I was very pleased to find a single version of Office 16 for my desktop computer.I have Office 365 on two of my laptops but wanted a version which was a once off buy and didn't need to be renewed every year. It is for all my record keeping, reports and minutes of meetings.which I can read on my Microsoft phone and tablet and keeps everything together as it is a permanent fixture. It is like having a safe on your computer, if you don't renew your 365, you always have your records in one place and don't have to use up your online cloud allowance.Definitely worth the cheap price.

This was purchased on behalf of the pre-school I co-run. The product was loaded to a new laptop for our Finance Officer, and which had Office 365 trial package already loaded. The Home and Student 2016 product loaded without any problems, using the activation key, which was emailed very quickly. There was no need to uninstall 365. It has everything on it our Finance Officer needs and at an incredibly competitive price for a lifetime one off payment!In the future, when my older 365 subscription finishes on my own laptop I will certainly consider replacing it with this package.

Good I guess - not much to say as this is a have to have it purchase as virtually everyone else in the world uses MS products. As usual for Microsoft, they try to cram as many features into the product as possible, which I am sure few people will ever use (me anyway). I bet this puts more pressure on the PC that is strictly necessary and is a contributor to the constant need for faster processors, more RAM and quicker graphics cards.Maybe I am just getting old and crotchety!

There was a hitch in downloading this software and getting it to work. The seller responded very promptly to request for support. In the end it took a call to Microsoft to sort out the problem. Apparently, we were attempting to download a multiple licence, when we had purchased a single licence. Not sure how that happened, but the fault may well be ours. The call to Microsoft helped us fixed the problem and the software has worked perfectly since.

Once you place your order, you must view the sellers message to get the product key. I was expecting an email or letter in the post - not so.To view the message sent by the seller go to:Your Account > Your Orders > Order Details > [File/View claim]In the Order History panel was sellers original message with the product key and replies to my subsequent messages to them.The product installed and worked well.Happy customer :-)

I am very pleased with my purchase. Placed the order and received email with all info required by the next day. download was easy and very straight forward. just follow the instructions. I did have an issue with the word section once installed. I contacted Microsoft and the problem was resolved very quickly. It was probably my fault, not being really great with computers.I can recommend the product without hesitation.

I have just finished building a new PC and still need to use MS Office from time-to-time. I received an email from the supplier shortly (around 30-45 mins) after the completion of my order. It contained the Licence Key and clear instructions for download/installation. I had no issues with the activation process. I think the price is decent for a customer needing to use MS Office 2016 on a single PC.

Was wary ordering this product , as the cost was much cheaper than the rest of the Office software I had browsed. I needn't have been worried, I had the code sent to me literally less than an hour after purchase, download was swift and the instructions easy to follow. Hey presto, Word, Excel and Powerpoint appeared on my desktop. Would definitely recommend.
