Unfortunately the item was scratched and did not work. Amazon were highly competent at allowing a refund when I returned item. Pity.I now have Mac office 2011 from another source and it is excellent, so product when working is optimal. So four stars for product but this was from another source, price was excellent with Amazon too, what a pity again. Suggest some link with Amazon/Microsoft supplier to up their quality control procedures. A new disc should work and certainly an unused disc (if that is what it was) should never be heavily scratched, it takes a good scratch to upset a DVD.

Office for Mac is, in my opinion, better than Office for Windows - it feels slicker and is much more fun than its Windows cousin. It makes you wonder why MS can't get their Windows versions as nice.My only grouch is it "installs" Outlook, but when you click it, you realise that it's not actually installed but is more like a promo prompting you to upgrade to a higher version. Not something you'd expect from a product that you paid for!

i couldn't believe how easy it was to install and i really couldn't believe how easy it is to use. Even though I have had it quite some time now and use it quite often, i am still exploring the different types of office software it has on it. There just seems to be a template for everything you would want to do in every day life, its brilliant. Was a bit sceptical about buying this at first but now i have it I'm glad i got it.

I've been using this with my Mac now for about a month. So far so good. It's very straightforward and easy to use. I have only used the Word and Xcel so can not comment on the Powerpoint, but if its anything like the other two programs then I'm sure I will also navigate my way around it just as easy. I would say that you don't have to be super IT literate in order to use. I would highly recommend this software.

I'm new to using a Mac and bought this as I'm familiar with MS Office and wanted compatibility. It's largely the same as the Windows version and if you're used to that you won't have any trouble with the Mac version. It was a little frustrating to find that I appeared to have a copy of Outlook as part of the package, only to discover that I then had to buy it in addition to the package!

Easy to install on iMac. Appearance is somewhat different to PC Office and one definitely needs to buy a manual to go with it, even if already an Office user. Is full of bells and whistles for Office devotees. Pages for Mac is not a substitute. Buy this disc rather than download as it is megabytes long. Comes with registration number. No problems. Delivery was fast.

Really easy to use, this version of Microsoft Office marries the best of Office 2003 and 2007. This is the first version I use on Mac and I just love it.The only negative point for me is the ruler (and more specifically the tabulations) which is not as easy to use as the one on PC and has poor graphic, but this is really a small issue. Overall great product.

I had an older version of Office and when I updated my OS from Snow Leopard to Lion found that I couldn't use the older version of Office.Although very annoying and in my opinion, wasteful, and at the time I assumed expensive I was delighted that I was able to get up and running painlessly and without too much expense.A good solution.

Ok, I got to say that after using the previous version of Office, 2008, I was wondering if this new microsoft software will meet my expectations. I'm glad that it happened. But first, my main use it is at university, sharing files between pc and macs. Doing presentations and sometimes some graphics and until now, this Office is great.

BEWARE: This entire package including the box and all the paperwork inside is in Italian with no English. Further, there is a sticker on the front inviting you to go to [...] complete the download. THIS IS THE WRONG ADDRESS. the actual address needed is[...]Otherwise no problems.

Instructions were in Italian, but still dead easy, just go to the website indicated. Had to use microsoft helpline and they pushed the download to my machine after the key code was accepted and then the microsoft website would not download. All OK now though.

I am new to Macs! I have this software on my old PC and was very happy with it and hoped it would perform in a similar manner on a Mac. It does and was one thing less to worry about when struggling with a different system.All in all, a good product.

My new office for mac box arrived extremely promptly - so no complaints so far. Although I'm not an Office fan I bought this for my new mac as although you can export text docs from iWork as a word doc. it is still easier to use office instead.

Delivered next day and decent price. Installed on wife's macbook. First she wouldn't believe Excel worked on the mac. Now she's whingeing cause it's 2011 and different from 2010. Some people are never happy!

This works fine on my new Mac. It's a pity that I couldn't get on with either numbers or pages but moving from a Windows environment really showed up the shortcomings up of the Apple software.
