*UPDATE 3/23/09* - High chair fell apart and had to clamp and glue it together. This piece wasn't subjected to that much trauma. If I could I would deduct (1) star from the overall rating and (2) stars for durability.Most folks buy products made by Plan Toys because they are 1) environmentally friendly (replenishable wood and vegetable dye paint) and 2) well crafted and durable. This nursery set meets all expectations and is a nice addition to the doll house (we have the Plan Toys Victorian). Watching my granddaughter play, I realize you don't need a lot of accurate detail to inspire imaginative play. In fact it might be the opposite. Some of her plastic friends live in the ice cream maker and in the blender. There's no furniture in the blender but they seem happy living there. Well, until the other day when my son made a smoothie and couldn't figure out why it had bits of black plastic in it.I really appreciate this dollhouse furniture for its ability to inspire play but not crunch underfoot. We've lost a lot of finely designed delicate furniture in the past, especially the pieces that match the carpet. Realizing the second it gets sucked up into the vacuum cleaner,

Wow...awesome little set for the money~! You child will have loads of fun with this set with our without a doll house. It is absolutely adorable and is very well crafted and of high quality. I am a grandmother and have always loved miniature anything along with doll houses. I actually bought this set for me for a doll house that I recently purchased and have to assemble.I have a little grandson who is only 9 months right now, but as he grows he will enjoy this set and doll house along with his G~ma. Whoever said doll houses are only for girls....just like play cars and trucks are not only for little boys~! You have to remember to let their little imaginations grow and expand with toys that are not always electronic or require those expensive batteries.

I like this set. I bought Plan instead of the Hape (which I think has a little bit nicer finish) just for the nursery because it came with a baby that fits in the stroller. My daughter loves the stroller and the baby, so it was the right decision. I searched all over and couldn't find any scale comparison, but it is slightly larger than Hape. In a separate room you probably wouldn't notice. If you buy the Plan accessories to go with Hape they are really too large. I would stick with the same brand for an entire room. I cut the little flippy thing off on the changing table, it didn't really fold all the way out. Overall this is a great quality set.

This is for those of you who may have purchased the Hape All Seasons doll house and are trying to decide between the Hape nursery set and this one. I have both, and I like this version much better. The baby that comes with it is gender neutral, which is a plus, but it is also much more flexible than the Hape version, and it fits in the crib and stroller, unlike the Hape version. The furniture fits in the Hape house, but is slightly larger than rest of the Hape furniture. I like the Hape version of the changing table much better, so I kept that with the Plan Toys crib. The high chair, which is only included in the Plan Toys version, fits perfectly with the Hape dining table.

This set is almost perfect. I prefer the Hape furniture colors and construction. I chose this set because it has a high chair and stroller and these are probably one of my daughter'a favorite pieces of her entire dollhouse. Crib is nice sized ( possibly little large- we have to place the nursery set in a separate room from the children's room) and my daughter enjoys the changing table. The baby is a little small but works if you don't have one. We have a cute baby from another company so we only use this baby sometimes. The mobile falls out from time to time but is a cute addition. All in all this is a great set - just wish the colors were more vibrant.

Bought this to go along with a huge playhouse that the girls received for christmas. Very nice size to fit in there. I wouldnt recommend buying this for any dollhouse smaller than the ones that can fit 12-18 inch dolls. Look at the dimensions for the kidkraft majestic Dollhouse. It fits percectly in there. My granddaughter wanted this room most of all. it is the most charming of the rooms I purchased but also the least sturdy. The crib has a mobile which I predict to break quickly. The changing table opens with a drop leaf that may not last much longer. The stroller wheels are a bit wobbly as well. The highchair and crib, however, meet my expectations/desires for the ability to withstand hard use by a little girl and I know she will enjoy them. The scale is appropriate for a standard size dollhouse even though the bulk of the pieces make them appear larger.

My daughters were given my old doll house for Christmas and my 3 year old picked out this furniture to go in it. She loves it. And it does seem pretty sturdy (except for the mobile, but I doubt there is anyway to make that sturdy). The doll house just became a new favorite toy and that makes me smile because of my years loving it. The baby doll is very small and not for little hands so we have to keep it away from the 1 year old. But it is sturdy because it went through the washer and dryer and survived liking perfect. Good quality, durable toy.

I can't say enough good things about Plan Toys! Love that they are eco-responsible and NOT toxic at all. These set is just precious. Our 18 month old plays with it every day and she is now 2. It fits great in the Plan Victorian Dollhouse. It comes with a cute little baby that is wearing a little sleeper with a hoodie. A great addition to the family, especially for toddlers who love to play with babies. This gives them the chance to have some family actions with the baby (diaper change, feeding, and taking a stroller ride.)

Purchased to accompany the Melissa &Doug fold and go mini dollhouse which does not come with a baby. This is a really lovely little set. Really well made, durable, really cute... The baby is precious. The crib can just fit into the above mentioned dollhouse and the baby works in nicely to the M&D set. The other furniture is a bit too large, it fits, certainly not to scale, but my daughter couldn't care less. She loves it. I would definitely purchase more plan dollhouse furniture sets. The mobile on the crib is too cute!

My son got this set as part of his Christmas gifts. We have a doll house and because we are expecting another baby we thought it would be nice for him to get to play with a little doll. He seems to like it. The baby is super cute (much cuter than the one my doll set came with). The crib is nice, but the mobil is super cheap plastic and small enough that it could be chocked on. The stroller and high hair are great and so is the dresser (the drawer pulls all the way out).All-in-all I would 100% buy it again.

Bought this for the Eco Friendly Plan Dollhouse. While I haven't opened the box yet (it's a Christmas Present) it's exactly as pictured and I can't wait to see my daughters face when she unwraps this sweet addition. She's about to become a big sister and this set will be another fun way to introduce caring for a baby. I love that this is a quality wooden set that will fit in with her Montessori style playroom, and in being of a simple, natural nature, will promote imaginative play. Highly recommend!

We purchased a large wooden dollhouse from a different company a few years back, but found that the Plan sets fit perfectly. So now each birthday or christmas I try to add to it by buying these additional sets. This one was perfect since my daughter is really into playing with baby dolls lately, so now it sort of revived the doll house again. With a highchair, stroller, crib & changing table, there's furniture for multiple rooms in the house, leading to many different ideas. Really a great product.

First of all, the cute factor won us over as we opened the box to make sure everything was fine before giving this as a gift. Beautifully made, well designed, and appropriately colorful, this set was better than we had expected, and we have high expectations of Plan Toy products. The girl to whom we gave this present was thrilled, took it all out of the box (along with another set we gave her) and began to play immediately, miles from the actual house.
