A great tripod for the price and comes in a nice bag, The PH-157Q head is realy smooth and locks up solid with my af s 70-300 lens. The plate can be turned on its side for portrate and also feels solid. The centre column can be split in two and legs splayed out for low level shots,, the column can also be reversed and camera used close to the ground for macro shots. The legs have 3 levels of adjustments both outwards and upwards. The only thing missing is a bubble but i can live with that.

This is my second Velbon Sherpa tripod, one of the best ones I have tried. Previous one I damaged in accident. Its best priced and very sturdy. I used it for video and no shake on camera even in windy weather. Using it on daily bases for my work and its works best.Cant recommend it highly enough.
